The variety and creativity is certainly here. Service is magnificent. The place is really cool. However, whatever oat milk they use really taints the flavor of their coffee, almost ruining it. It's very chalky and has its own flavor so you can't taste how good their coffee is. I will definitely come back, but either order my coffee black or bring my own oat milk. read more

Cute little coffee shop right off the main road. So many delicious drinks and treats it was very hard to choose. Coffee was very tasty perfect to get us going this morning. The pop tarts all looked really good but for $7 I don't think I'd get them again. Stick to the coffee. Ladies behind the counter were all super helpful and there's lots of cozy places to sit inside and out. read more

Stopped by to get some work done after a wedding and I loved it! The tables are spacious for getting work done but for some reason the WiFi slip wasn't posted, I had to ask the barista for it. I thought they might've had some outdoor seating in the back but i think it was used for storage. There are a few outlets and gender neutral restroom. Dog friendly. Would want to try their croissants. Nice, relaxing place to get work done since it wasn't too crowded, even on a weekend read more

Highly, highly recommend this indie cafe! Not only do they roast their own beans and have a seriously inventive menu, they employ some of the friendliest baristas around. We tried the mornings in Manila latte and the strawberry tres leches latte - both from their seasonal menu. The former featured ube and leche flan flavors, the latte is self explanatory. Both featured wonderfully nuanced layers that complemented the coffee - never overpowered. Fantastic spot, and they source their pastries from local bakers/bakeries like North Wind, for example. Great place for a coffee and a croissant. read more

I can see why they have such great reviews. What a fabulous spot! All of our drinks were crafted with care, the kids loved the hot chocolate, the chai latte was great, the smoked campfire mocha was so yummy- and the refrigerated pastries (especially ricotta spinach) were buttery and delicious. They can heat them up for you which is nice. Comfortable place to sit, and the service was very friendly. I'd recommend to anyone visiting or passing through the area. read more

Innovative design, cheerful and friendly service, spacious layout, and delicious drink options make this the best local coffee shop in the area. The winged horse design logo greets you as you walk in to a spacious, airy and comfortable place to relax with friends or by yourself for a while. The bleedin sweden is a great drink to try, as is the campfire smores. Every drink special is made from scratch. My favorite drink is the Vietnamese latte (pho) cold. It is excellent. So many different types of coffee roasts that are available; they have bags of specialty beans to take home. Good vibes. read more

This place has cute fun, eclectic drinks that are made seasonally and all the flavors are made in house which I absolutely loved. The person making the drink seems super sweet and gave good recommendations on what drink to get and not to get. I would definitely come back. This is also a cute place to study for anyone who is a local student and is always looking for a coffee shop. I love lavender latte and this one hit the spot. It is a perfect mix of honey and lavender, but not super overpowering. Just gives you a hint of the flavors. Can't wait to come back! read more

After staying at the Legoland hotel nearby, we visited Valkyrie in search of a good cup of joe. This section of Main Street felt quite sleepy. However, walking into Valkyrie will easily awake you with its fresh coffee aroma. I ordered the Vietnamese Ka Phe that was very creamy and balanced while my wife ordered a latte that got an infusion of smoke. We ordered the chocolate ganache for our boys to share, which I had hoped to be more ganache-like (or had a thicker texture). Overall, we were impressed by the quality of coffee here given its location. The staff was very friendly and the space was nice and comfortable. Drove an hour and forty minutes to get here. But, I was going somewhere else as well so I am not that insane. Sometimes. Good latte and chill atmosphere. If I lived closer to here I'd come back often. Had a vegan scone which was air sealed and tasted delish. I've been on the hunt for some great coffee beans to grind up at home that taste really great, something better than Double D so I've been wanting to visit this location for a few months now and made it a point to visit today. AMBIENCE: Omg it's such a cute little shop in an area of Chester that just seems like a ghost town. You'll find this a stones throw from the main Chester area, just far away enough that you likely won't find the place too busy. It's the perfect place to find a seat to open up your computer for leisure, work or school studies with a fresh brew in hand. COFFEE: I had no clue what great coffee tasted like, I was simply clueless! My highest standard is Double D because Starbucks is just nasty! One obvious thing when you visit this place is the owner is super passionate about coffee. I wasn't sure what I wanted and after a little discussion I was presented with a brew that I took with me to a lovely seat to work from. Coffee was a little on the strong side because I only drink my coffee black so I can taste the full flavors of those beans. But the owner explained that I was tasting premium coffee beans and explained how I was accustomed to garbage, well not in exactly those words. Hehe! My only complaint is that my coffee was served in a white coffee mug that was stained with coffee inside. I know, I know...if you drink enough coffee then you know this happens to white mugs which is why I think they should use colored mugs (i.e. blue, black, green) and ditch the white so I can't see the coffee stains. I'm a bit of a germaphobe so I didn't exactly enjoy my coffee despite it tasting good as I stared into this mug with coffee stains looking back at me with each sip. BARF! Overall a really, really cute shop with an insanely passionate owner who defiantly knows all about coffee. If I stop in again to stay, I'll opt for a "to go" cup in lieu of the white mugs. read more

Dakota the owner is the nicest guy you'll ever meet and has the friendliest staff. Pastries are made fresh by Bella Sophia Sugar Crafts. They have great merch. There's also a section for local shops / makers (candles, jewelry, soap, etc) Coffee roaster in house and partners with a lot of other coffee farms and companies. Most of all I love how creative their drinks are there's a rotation of specials and they are always so unique! It's truly such a cute coffee shop that makes you feel warm and welcomed! read more

Very cute and deliciously smelling coffee shop. We were in the area on a ski trip and needed some coffee. The space is inviting and fresh. Lots of fliers, some local crafts on sale and IKEA chic. There was a spot for kids with some markers and coloring books which was a bonus. The coffee was great. I usually get my coffee black but I tried the specialty red wine flavor coffee and it was quite tasty. I would probably not get it again but that's because I like my coffee plain. We took some coffee to go so we can have it at home. read more

Quiet little town just 15 minutes away from Woodbury outlets--we wouldn't have found this place if not for my shopping trip. The coffee shop is warm and welcoming and the baristas are the same. They have a lot of merchandise for sale along the walls, along with various spots to sit. We ordered two oat milk lattes--I don't usually get oat, I get almond, but they have their own housemade oat milk so I wanted to try. The lattes come in cute mugs that make you think of home, not some coffee shop. The lattes were a bit thin, but the oat milk was good and the espresso well done. They don't have much in the fresh pastry department but we got a prepackaged cherry scone which satisfied our wants. read more

Best coffee in New York State PERIOD. So many creative options and different roasts, but consistently the single greatest cup of coffee I've ever had. As for the ambience & interior/exterior, the cafe is always kept clean & organized, sometimes it gets a little busy, therefore there's a limit on seat choices, yet generally it's a spacious & comfortable cafe for a nice cup of coffee. Overall, we look forward to trying out their new location as well!

And comments about them serving people who came in after you are right on. This happened both times we went and we waited 10 full mins to be served. Best coffee in Morris County ? NOT EVEN CLOSE. Obviously management doesn't care if you come back at all.
