Cute and cozy plant shop in Seattle off of Jackson. So many beautiful options I wish I could have them all! The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Came in looking for a gift for some friends and ended with a gorgeous jade plant in a 10" pot. I even found something for myself. I had to replace a Thai monstera that didn't survive my last move. New to town and new to plants. Walked in yesterday an hour before they closed, and was greeted first thing and the gentleman working was so nice, knowledgeable and friendly. I told him I was looking for new plants but didn't have much information on the types. He directed me to plants that would be most suitable for my lack of lighting in my apartment and pet friendly because I happen to have two dogs. Glad I stopped in. I bought 3 plants will def return for more and recommend it to others. The only thing was the parking it's street parking or you can risk and park at the Amazon fresh parking garage. Very affordable too I spent I think $45 in total for plants and one with pot included! They look healthy and ready to grow beautifully in my new place. read more

Have been wanting to check this place out for awhile. Finally had a chance last Thursday while waiting for food at Seattle Fish Guys across the street I ran over to take a look. And of coursed walked out with a couple of plants. For the size of the space there is a large number of plants available at a great range of prices. I love everything about booSH Nursery! This was a total accident, stumbling upon here, as I was not looking for this business. In fact, I had no idea it was even here 'til I spotted it when I went to Amazon Fresh, which is where this small, quaint nursery is by in the Central District. Though the nursery is very small, with just one greenhouse room, there is A LOT to see, especially if you're a tropical plant lover. I LOVE tropical plants and coincidentally, have been on the hunt for some new plants and booSH offered the exact kind of plants that I was looking for. It was a fortunate accident finding booSH, since I hardly am ever in the area. The employee who was working here was very friendly and knowledgeable about the different products here. I told her about some plants that I was on the lookout for and she helped me find them in different sizes and offered ways to style them in different baskets and planters. I also asked her about low maintenance, low light plants, which she happily showed me and recommended. Seriously, I wanted to buy everything here. The prices may be more expensive than other spots, but I found them to be reasonable, especially for tropical plants. I only left with two plants and a planter, but found out that they get new products every Friday, so I mos def will be back! So glad I have booSH! read more

I love this addition to the CD. There is a huge variety of very healthy-looking plants, and accessible pricing. The owner is so friendly and clearly is dedicated to making houseplants accessible to as many people as possible, and was very patient in answering all of my questions about care for certain plants, etc. I also love that this particular corner of 23/Jackson has a lot of Black-owned businesses popping up. The only thing I will note is that due to its location I'm not sure that there is dedicated parking - I usually park by the old Starbucks/Walgreens and run over for a brief time, or the Amazon Fresh I think has parking too. read more

So... I kill plants. Yet I need nature indoors. My decor style is academic moody maximalism meets minimalism meets hanging garden. I want to feel a slice of Studio Ghibli in my home. The guy running the shop solo when I came in gave me all the patience, guidance, and tips for me being a complete newbie. He helped me choose the perfect hanging plant, how to make them fuller, how to repot, how to rig my grow light, what soil to use, everything. From my understanding the shop offers some harder to find plants as well. As I scuttled down the street goblin style, monstera in hand a guy down the street asked me it's name. I said I dunno, he suggested Moana. So here's to keeping Moana alive. Sidenote: I hope it's indeed a monstera. This shop is awesome! read more

My client was having a grand opening for their new office in the area. I decided to swing by booSH for an office warming gift. The gentleman behind the counter was very helpful with any questions I had. I picked a small plant and a nice ceramic planter to put it in. The storekeeper schooled me on care instructions while I checked out. While I was walking into the party, I tripped, fell on my face, and punted the plant and ceramic pot across the pavement. To my shock and awe, the whole package made it out unscathed! You can tell the plants are very well cared for, and the pots must be of good quality. If you're a plant enthusiast looking for some exotic and rare plants to add to your collection, this is one store you should not miss ! Tucked into a corner of a wonderful plaza, the store is small space-wise, but packed with beautiful and healthy plants. The prices were soooooo reasonable even for some of the rarest ones, I mean have you ever seen or heard of a medium size philodendron bilateii for under $50? There are all sort of plants from more common beginner plants, succulents, all the way up to rare philodendron and anthuriums! The staff were nice and friendly. If you live on the west side or even north side of seaside, it is very much worth the trip to go down and check this place out! My only caution is that you will leave the store with lots of great plants, so make room at home! read more

I came in search of an appropriately hardy, low-maintenance gift for an ill family member. The only plants I knew about were snake plants, and the staff was SO helpful in pointing out all my other options, at different aesthetics and price points. I ended up leaving with this this cute lil aloe plant with a ceramic vase of my choice; it was so lovely that I wanted to keep it for myself! So glad this is the closest plant shop to me! Not only do they have a good variety of plants every time I go, but the price point is so low for the quality (plants and pots)! I've never found pests on any of the plants I've purchased from here, which I can't say for everywhere. It's right next to Amazon Fresh so there's free parking. Anyways, I love this place :) read more
