I went to the Melrose Park store to pick up an order that I had placed last night. When I got there…read morethe lady at the customer pickup desk told me. "You have to wait, your order is not ready." I asked if it would be possible to have someone get it for me from the aisles. I am a senior and have some issues walking. She said that I could go get it myself and then pay for it and cancel the previous order. I went and picked up the two boxes that I needed from the aisles, and then asked her to help me cancel the prior order. She would not lift a finger, rather told me that I had to use my phone to do so. I said that I did not know how to do that. She then told me to go home and do it. Well, here I am. I am not pleased, not happy, and it will be a cold day in hell before I step into that Melrose Park Target store. I was treated a hell of a lot better at the Target in the Brickyard.

A female employee asked what I was looking for and proceeded to behave as rudely as she could toward me, talking over me, repeating her answers loudly and with a lot of attitude. I don't know what her problem was, but she really seemed to resent my questions. I had to ask them because T-mobile has some very complicated promotions for phone upgrades and they are confusing. There were plenty of other employees standing around who probably could have handled my questions without the attitude and the nastiness. But they just looked on or at their own phones. I am a longtime T-mobile customer with a family plan and numerous lines. I was considering locking in another 2 years in order to get upgraded phones. But I don't want to be treated this way and will be shopping around with other carriers now. Ugh.

They were pleasant and professional and we exchanged a bit of humor over the phone and in person. Unfortunately, just two weeks later, a noticeable black blob appeared on the new screen near the Dynamic Island. This looks like OLED screen bleed or a defect. The phone has remained in a case with a screen protector the entire time and has not been dropped, bumped, or otherwise mishandled. Given the timing (only 2 weeks after installation) and the specific location of the spot, this issue is almost certainly the result of either a defective replacement screen or a problem during installation (such as trapped dust, adhesive, or pressure damage). It is not consistent with normal use or accidental damage. I offered to bring the phone in so they could inspect it in person, but they declined and immediately dismissed the warranty claim without examination. While I understand repairs aren't perfect, I'm disappointed they are unwilling to stand behind their work and honor the warranty on what is clearly a post-repair defect. I went from a satisfied customer who would have returned and recommended them to someone who can no longer do so. Potential customers should be aware that warranty support may not be reliable here. EDIT: Contrary to the response below the phone was never physically inspected. Rather, the response was based on a set of photos sent showing the issue which, alone, would be virtually impossible to come to a conclusion of physical damage versus defective product. As a customer, you are in a no win situation here as no matter what happens they are going to blame you and not the manufacturer or installation for the problem.
