Lou stated, "They had a sale starting tomorrow (Saturday) and that he could sell it to me for $651.00." Great! Lou said he could have it delivered next Tuesday. I explained my mother's situation and asked if it could be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday. Lou said, "I'll make it happen." Now that is exceptional customer service! Josh Hoffman was the technician who delivered and set up my mother's new Samsung TV. Josh programmed the Xfinity remote to the new TV, and my mother accidentally hit something that made the TV verbally announce everything she did. Josh asked if she wanted that, and my mother said no. Josh was quick-witted and a comedian; he had my mother laughing. You certainly can tell when an employee loves their job! There have been a handful of GameStops I've given my business to over the years, everything from pawning off my old Xbox (for which they gave me a nickel) to buying a gently used PS3 controller. Most of the time, it's a ripoff. The sales associates/fellow nerds working at this location have been pretty cool, asking if I needed recommendations and helping to locate some obscure titles. You can find an alphabetized walls of new console games in addition to older stuff, so the overall variety is decent. As with restaurants and their bottles of wine, the markup percentage at GameStop is preposterous. You can sell a popular console game to them for $3 on Monday, and on Tuesday it'll be on the "pre-owned" shelf at $19.99. I suppose that's just how these guys turn a profit, so I understand. I don't like it, but I get it. * TL;DR * Amazon is still my preferred supplier of used or factory-refurbished vidya gamez0rz and accessories. I do appreciate the fact that humans work here, though.

The screens they put on both of them were very thick and didn't look right. They said they have a 30 day warranty but when I brought them back they said I dropped it and wouldn't cover it. I know for a fact I did not drop mine, my friend said she didn't either. My iPhone screen also had the color LCD stripe down the middle and stopped working completely.
