I needed to get to my files and needed help fast without spending an arm and a leg. I starting researching pc repair businesses in Rochester and found PC Maid had the most positive ratings. She was very pleasant and explained her whole process to me over the phone and that there would be no "surprise" charges. If it was anything serious she would call me first before fixing anything. It turned out a bad software driver had been installed and messed everything up. She repaired it for much less than HP said they would charge me, plus it would probably still be sitting in their repair center somewhere. They seem to have a decent variety of bulbs, but no more than any decent hardware store. They have a battery for whatever you might need; from car/truck, to cell phone, to dog collar. I also saw a small cell phone case display. For $40 they reprogram keys and key fobs. Best of all is that they do cell phone repair. There was only one customer ahead of me, but it took a long time because their card scanner was very glitchy.

They didn't have the part and had to order it. Then he has to call AT&T and make sure it "really is an AT&T phone and not fake AT&T" and that I "really am it's AT&T customer" holding its account. He dials 611 from the phone...unbelievably, AT&T answers. He goes "yep, uh huh, yep, ok. Great thanks!" Then turns to me and says: "you're not the account holder, and AT&T advises me to not do business with you." Bahahaha. Is this guy deliberately trying to destroy his business?
