Found another great person that truly helped me and took the time to help we with a crazy situation…read morewell my wife had a old iPhone that would not charge because it was old the salesman name was James who worked at the ATT store on lindberg and new halls ferry first question was how old is this phone of course I didn't know but he looked it up and found out (it was old) we tried charging it no matter what he tried he couldn't get it to charge and he looked up my account and saw there was an update for a new phone and while i was there he tried it switch the apps to the new phone and to do this i had to have both phones close to one another and take it home while driving home the phones stopped transferring apps i got home told my wife she had a new phone and the cost was low but before i leht the store James said if you have any problems come back and ill fix it and you can be a hero lol got home and couldn't get the phones to transfer apps so i went back the next day as soon as i walked in he called me over and immediately started working on the new iPhone not only did he get it working he also saw what i was going thru about a cell phone and was a really nice person so to Att some times a potential customer might not be having a great day but if you keep hiring people like james every day could be a little brighter and sometimes thats all a person needs is kindness in your voice and a good conversation... Att you got a great salesman but even better a great person KEEP UP THE Good WORK.. and if you meet james tell him Kenny sent you and thanks again james continued success.... Kenneth Smith

I switched to AT&T from Verizon in January because of the military discount they advertised, and it…read morehas been one issue after another ever since. First, we switched specifically to receive the military discount because my husband is active duty. However, AT&T failed to add my husband to the account. I provided our marriage certificate and documentation of his active-duty status, since spouses are eligible to receive the discount. Instead of correcting the issue, they denied the military discount and told us we couldn't change the responsible party on the account to my husband until we had been customers for three months. Second, our transfer was supposed to include two cell phones, an iPad, and an Apple Watch while keeping all of our existing phone numbers. They successfully transferred the two cell phone numbers, but they created brand-new numbers for both the iPad and Apple Watch without our knowledge or approval. Because of that, Verizon never disconnected those lines, and we ended up paying for service through both Verizon and AT&T. The biggest issue has been the phone buyout that was promised when we switched. We traded our Verizon phones into AT&T in January with the understanding that AT&T would pay off the remaining balances. That still has not happened. I continue to receive bills from Verizon, and I'm now left with approximately $1,500 in remaining phone balances that should have been taken care of months ago. To make matters worse, AT&T also added a $10-per-line upgrade feature to every phone line on our account without asking for or receiving our authorization. We did not request this service, yet we've been charged for it. Since switching, I've spent countless hours on the phone trying to fix mistakes that were never ours to begin with. Every time I contact customer service, I'm told something different, and the problems continue to drag on. What should have been a straightforward switch has turned into months of frustration, billing issues, and broken promises. I switched to AT&T expecting better service and to take advantage of the military benefits they advertise. Instead, we've dealt with repeated account errors, unauthorized charges, and commitments that have still not been honored. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend AT&T.
