This was typical of my experience with ATT stores. The manager at the store in S. Austin, where I bought the phone was so rude, and a Lier, that I swore I would never use ATT again, even though I like ATT.

I contacted a bunch of electronics repair shops on yelp for quotes and this was both the fastest to reply to me, the shortest repair time, and the lowest price by $50-$150 compared to the other shops. They had to ship in the part in cuz I have a less common phone, but it arrived next day! (other companies I got quotes from said 3-4 days before it would even arrive). They wanted a $20 deposit for the part order that I was able to pay online. The part arrived next day, and I brought in my phone. It only took 45 min to replace my screen and get me on my way. Fast service and cost slightly less than the quoted flat rate. Highly recommend 10/10

02/27/2024 BEWARE TO ANYONE GOING TO THIS LOCATION…read more Been a customer with Cricket for a couple years now and I came in to see about upgrading my phone because Gerardo had previously helped me and told me he could help me upgrade my phone. Gerardo was busy so another woman at the register started trying to assist me. I said I didnt want her to help me, I wanted Gerardo to help me. meaning I could wait for him but she kept saying very rudely that he is busy and he cant help me and was asking questions acting all mean about what I wanted to do. I said repeatedly I didnt want her to help me due to her rude demeanor as soon as I walked in and also bad experiences Ive had with her in the past when Ive came in. After I kept saying I didnt want her to help me she told me I needed to just leave. I had only been in there for less than 5 mins. when she said this. So I started to leave and as I was walking out she is spewing out racist hateful remarks in spanish calling me negro, ugly, dark. Saying In spanish I am poor because I dont have a bank account on my account. I was a victim of identity theft and got money stolen out of my bank account so I dont have a bank account anymore, I use cash for everything. I dont know this woman at all and she decided to make prejudiced racist hateful remarks. I asked her multiple times what is her name and she refused to tell me. I believe her name is Cathya or something maybe. Gerardo just stood to the side while another customer was present while all of this happened. I had to defend myself and be combative with her when that was not my intention walking in to Cricket that day. I had planned on spending money at this location and upgrading my services and this employee completely ruined that from happening 3 minutes into me being in this store. I went right over to the location at grand avenue pkwy and was helped promptly by a very nice employee. Complete opposite experience! I have already called cricket customer service numerous times to make a complaint and I don't know if it'll even matter but its crazy an employee can treat a customer that way and still work there. Im not sure if the owner knows his employee is in there running customers out of there losing money for his business but he should know. Because a grown woman acting that way was just embarrasing! Very unprofessional. Also, the other employees are not a problem. Gerardo and other employees have always been very helpful and nice and decent in the past years I had been going there.
