Such a great place for an iPad screen repair! Just a small store front with a small web site. You can chat with them through the site and they answer questions about service and price super fast. My daughter decided it was time to break the screen to my iPad. 2 hours and $120 later and it was fixed. Versus $700 including tax for a new iPad 9. They are very nice and professional. Shoddy work iPhone screen repair - Avoid at all costs My daughter's screen cracked and against my advice she brought her phone to this shady place instead of going to the Apple store. They replaced her screen and immediately the Face ID no longer functioned. The next day it rained on this device that is rated for underwater use and not surprisingly a little rain and the phone screen was wrecked. The crap job they did was reflected in the bad seals on the screen that let a few raindrops destroy the device. Their response was "we don't warranty water damage".... Yes, but when your repair causes the water damage it's a different story. Avoid, just go to the Apple store where they warranty their work. read more

I took my samsung galaxy AO3S to this place to get my screen replaced. I was told it would be ready the following Thursday. Unfortunately, we had a bad ice storm which delayed them getting my part. Wow, what can't I say that's most epic about this company? Well, I did have a minor wait due to another service being done on another device but Hector, the young man working, gave me an estimated time that he was well under. Props to that. So, I made my way to this shop after seeing all the wonderful reviews on Yelp and upon checking their website in the evening, I started looking at details on a replacement screen for my iPhone. I love the fact that their website had a representative that quickly answered questions in realtime through a chat window when I was looking to call them the following day about those questions. After speaking to the rep, I was quoted a price with tax and upon receiving my phone back this afternoon,.....I couldn't be MORE happy. Hector destroyed in quality and time. I just simply want to say again in that I couldn't have had better service and loved the fact that there was a little icing on the cake when Hector informed me that IF I happened to break the screen again, (not sure within a certain timeframe) they would replace it again with a 10% discount. (No jinxes!! :P) I want to simply conclude on, in my opinion, the reason that this place has such a high rating is because their service is simply excellent, bar none and they have a great staff that sets expectations. After my Iphone7 stopped charging, I googled "why phone not charge, blah blah", did all that the interweb suggested and came to the conclusion that the phone needs to see a specialist. Yelp lets you ask for quotes from several different cell phone repair shops. Alfonso, responded immediately. He said they could take a look into the phone free of charge but he assumed that the charging port needed to be replaced,if that's the case, it'll cost 59 bucks. I soon received other quotes from the other repair shops and they all said about the same thing, it would either cost me $25 or nothing to have them open up the phone and clean it . I'm like ok, but if it needs a new charging port, how much would that be and if they just opened it and cleaned it, are they going to charge me for the charging port on top of the $25 cleaning fee? The estimate from almost everyone besides Austin Cell Phone was 89-99 bucks and they were so sure that it wouldn't be the charging port. I'm 100% positive that I made the right decision and went with Austin Cell Phone. I was greeted by Hector, he told me to come back in an hour, I came back in two hours, my phone was finally ON! Brought my iPad Pro in to the store a few months ago after it was pretty badly cracked. The guys ordered a new part and replaced it. The service was quick and the iPad worked well at first, but slowly began to have hardware issues (dead zones in the screen). Guys said it was an issue with the part and that the screen was past warranty. Total service cost me over 340 dollars. I would potentially trust these guys with a smaller project, but the parts they use are sometimes faulty, so I would take the more expensive stuff elsewhere. read more

I went to this business on Thursday of last week. I had a green line down my screen and I needed it fixed. They were fast and very polite. But, in 2 days my screen was cracked. And, I purchased a screen cover that the employee put on for me. I didn't drop or throw it. I just noticed that it was cracked. There was not a time where I dropped it and was scared it cracked. No, the cracks just kept showing up out of nowhere. Now, 5 days later it is cracked in 4 places. I have never had an issue with a cracked screen. I went back in to ask if they could remedy the situation with a new screen. Maybe it was a lemon screen. No, they offered a discount on a new screen. Why would I purchase a new screen from the place who sold me a bumb screen in the first place. I would not recommend this business. Find a legit place to replace your screen. read more

Solid place with solid customer service. I was in the market for a new phone, because A) my HTC 8XT Windows Phone was starting to depress me on a number of levels, and B) I wanted something more professional for my job. The thing was, I did not want to pay new phone prices. So, a helpful associate at the Sprint Store recommended I go to this place called Best Buy Cells. It was a little store in a strip mall off the highway, so I didn't have high expectations, but I figured I'd give them a shot. I'm very glad that I did. Leo, the nephew of the owner, was a very patient dude who knew his stuff when it came to smartphones. I told him the specs I was looking for, and he brought out three different phones to choose from. To be fair, it was clear he was trying to push the Samsung S5 on me (what salesman wouldn't?), but for that sweet spot of performance, reliability and price, I opted for the LG G2. He was super cool about me trying the "cheaper" phone (my words, not his), and still went to great lengths to get me activated. I have been incredibly happy with the LG G2! Even though it is a used phone, it runs great, it's fast, doesn't fritz up and has great battery life. They even threw in a used case with it. It's this kind of customer service that I find is SORELY lacking in the bigger corporations. This past week has seen me get into verbal confrontations with both Macy's and Sprint's insurance/scam artist agency, Asurion. It's good to see that the "mom & pop" places still have what it takes to succeed, without screwing over the average person. They treat people as valued customers, and not just mindless consumers. I was only slightly freaking out Monday night as my cell phone refused to accept the electricity I was trying to feed it. I kinda thought something was amiss with my charger port as it had become unpredictable the last few weeks and Monday evening, it just gave up altogether. So, yeah, I was slightly freaking. Dead phone! I have a dead phone! What am I gonna do?? A quick google search the next morning led me here and I was impressed with the reviews. Also, I noted the bad reviews, what few there are, received a thoughtful response from the proprietors of ACP. Figured I'd give them a shot and see if they could rescue me. As advertised, they replaced my charger port quickly, delivered when promised, and at an incredibly reasonable price. The store manager even helped me clean my phone case as I was putting my resurrected piece of technology back inside it. They have my future business should I need them again. read more

For a short period of time when I took my case off my phone, I managed to drop it facedown in a driveway. I used the quote process through yelp to get a few quotes, but the cheapest was with Austin Cell Phone (and it was also close to where I lived). My touch screen/digitizer still worked, but my screen was shattered. I arrived within an hour of closing, and though the expectation seems to have the repair done pretty promptly (within a few hours), though the source for screens wasn't open since my part was out of stock. Regardless, returning the next day for pickup was fine. I wiped the memory just in case, but upon arriving was told that they wouldn't touch anything software-wise (which I appreciated). Service was very professional. I was happy to receive my phone back the next day with a new screen and they honored the quote that was provided through Yelp (which was a little bit cheaper than walking in-store). The only downside, although forgivable because it's just a phone, is that in the top left corner of my screen and slightly on the bottom left corner, there are marks and scuffs from where it seems the screen/body were taken apart. Unfortunately it didn't return to me in 100%, but 90-95% is pretty good, so I'd still consider it a 5 (realistically, 4.5) given the price was less than $100. And I put my case back on it. read more

So I had my iphone 7 for about 2 years by the time it started slowing down. It got to the point where it was difficult to do even basic things. On top of that, the battery life had become so terrible my phone required about 3 full charges a day. I googled cell phone repair and called into this place. They said they could fix my problems, so I stopped by. The man at the shop explained to me that the bad battery was also likely the cause of my phone slowing down, and replacing the battery would probably fix both my issues. They took my phone right away, and I hung out in the car for about 20 minutes and they were done! I forget exactly what they charged me, but I think it was about $40, which is 1/1000th of the price Apple would probably charge to fix it. Sure enough, just like they promised, my battery and phone speed issues were totally fixed. Super grateful to them, and it's also great to know that I don't have to go to the company that built my phone to have it fixed! read more

This review started higher, but after an edit, I had to remove another star. I have a phone that isn't the latest and greatest Samsung or Apple, so, as far as quotes went, it was really about price. They came in FAR under anywhere else. I'm also guessing that having a less than popular phone may have attributed to some of the issues we experienced. I paid for 50% of it up front (gave them my phone number) and then I waited. Nearly a week went by, and nothing. So we called. The screen hadn't been ordered. Ordered it again (giving them my phone number again). A week went by and still nothing. So we called again. No answer. So we stopped by. Luckily, they were there, probably just busy. He said they didn't have my number, but he had the screen. "Give me an hour" Cool, no prob...we went across the street and cuddled kitties at the ASCPA for nearly 2 hours (time gets away from me when friendly felines are involved) before returning. We still had to wait for over 20 minutes (over 2 hours) before my phone was done. Unfortunately, they work wasn't GREAT. There is still glue everywhere that I'm picking off in chunks, light leaks all around the edges of the glass, and we had to smoosh and squish, and pull and break fingernails to get my stylus out, and now it looks wonky AF when I put it back in. *EDIT TO ADD* it's only a few hours later, and, well, the glue has detached, and the back is, like, falling off. :( My phone went in with a cracked screen, and came out with a screen that bleeds light, a stylus I can't freely remove and replace, and a gaping space at the back. I didn't anticipate buying a new phone over a cracked screen, but given the cost of the phone, I probably should have. I just bought myself more issues than I had before. Bummer. read more

My experience was totally mixed. They had, by far, the best quote, and the work was done well - on the plus side. The negative was that it took more than a week, from the time I paid the deposit, as they originally ordered the wrong part, and then delayed me with other orders once the right part came in. I got the sense they regularly make promises they can't keep and string folks along a bit. But again the work was done well and cheap, so if you have the patience then go for it. read more
