I have been with them since 1992 (A,T,&T, then Cingular, then A,T,&T) and have seen the service degrade. On February 7th I ordered a new iPhone Air via in-person shopping at this store. According to the data being displayed, it would be delivered via overnight by February 12th. On February 16th I called 611 to see where my phone was, as it still showed February 12th on the A,T,&T app. The (lack of) customer service rep. stated that it would ship via overnight but the 27th. The explanation was high demand and supply chain issues. On March 6th I called to cancel my order, and was told it was easier to do it on the app, and they would then send me a pre-paid label to send all of the accessories back. What a crappy way to do business. Before I got a chance to cancel the order, I received a text message stating my phone had shipped. Four weeks for something that was supposed to take no more than five days? Now for the good stuff. Since I was now working out of town, I wasn't able to go pick up my phone until today, March 14th. The young man who greeted me, Mark, was congenial and understanding. I told him I was livid with A,T,&T and was contemplating jumping ship to Verizon for my future phone needs (my wife is on Verizon). Mark was undeterred by my less than stellar attitude and began to set up my phone. Within 15 minutes Mark had everything setup and began the data transfer (took 3 hours at home due to the plethora of data and apps on my old phone), all while we engaged in conversation about everything, mostly life in general. Mark is fast, knowledgeable, and an immense asset to the Beaumont A,T,&T store. Nice work, and thank you.

I could not have had a better more enjoyable experience. These 2 guys were great., The Eddie that actually sold me the phone, (the other was his manager) was awesome, he took his time never rushed me or tried to get to buy something I didn't want. Reducing my star rating on this Staples because of the unnecessary wait times for the Amazon…read morereturns. This place is one only a few places to return Amazon returns. Day after day there is a line of 5-15 people and the management will staff one person here. There are many other associates that walking around "looking" busy. The associates doing the returns are so unmotivated as well. I kind of don't blame them but the store manager should do something different.

Andrew showed me how to forward the emails correctly so that they printed the contents of the email not the attachments. They were very conscientious to make sure I followed their instructions correctly and sent to the correct address to obtain the printer code. They also helped me purchase the right charger cord and plug. Leave it to me to carelessly leave my chargers at home. My confidence was based upon extensive (1 hour) phone conversations with various Cricket stores around Hemet. Turns out the offer made on the phone was too good to be true.Turns out that their plan is "no contract" in name only. It's a month-to-month "contract" that forces you to pay for data you don't use. Even still, I thought it was a fairly good deal. And I wanted to break with my eight long years of frustration at AT&T to do the deal with Cricket. But it turns out that AT&T bought Cricket and I couldn't switch to Cricket without paying a $500 extortion fee (the remaining balance on my iPhone 11) to AT&T. Long story short, I still stupidly wanted to do it. But in order to do it, I had to have a three-way conversation with AT&T and the Cricket guy that lasted 20 minutes in the sweltering heat. At the conclusion of the phone call, in which the AT&T operator and the Cricket guy contradicted each other, I had decided I had had enough, and threw in the towel. It was about time I made that decision because one of the Cricket flunkies was already outside the store pulling closed all their iron bars around the store, threatening to lock me in like I was some kind of thief in their prison cell. As I stomped out past the flunky, I handed off their pen I'd inadvertently stolen. I'm happy to have gotten out of there with my $50 still in hand (and not their pen). They were closing early because they couldn't stand the sweltering heat any more than me. But the difference is, I couldn't take the heat and WOULDN'T TAKE THEIR BULLSHIT EITHER. Avoid them.

Because there was not any kind of follow-up or explanation, we had to return to the store three times. This caused us to lose the enthusiasm that we had for Cricket. At the 611 number, we were not told to keep the back of the telephone; we were just told to keep the SIM card and battery and take the telephone to the UPS Store. The clerks at the Hemet Cricket store became offended at the suggestion that their customer service skills were not professional.
