Purchased a new Duracell 30LA battery for my 2017 Harley Davidson Road Glide on 1/23/2024. On…read more10/15/2025 I returned it because it no longer had the cranking amps under load to properly start the bike. This particular battery carries a 2 YEAR FULL REPLACEMENT WARRANTY. I have purchased many of these same batteries in the past for my Harleys over the years and never had a problem until now. Chad, the guy at the counter load tested my fully charged battery and it tested at 13.1 volt and under load it tested at 313 cranking amps. This is a 400 cca rated battery. That's 87 cranking amps short of rated capacity. At that point Chad refused to honor the replacement warranty further stating that loss in capacity needed to be greater than 20%. I'm not really sure where Chad got his math education but 20% loss is still 320 amps and mine tested 313 amps. That's not enough to start a Harley Big Twin so essentially I now I have a $219 completely worthless battery that is ironically still under warranty. Apparently you don't get what you pay for at Batteries Plus anymore. Kind of odd that their website is filled with glowing reviews yet there is no provision for customers to leave reviews. Beware!

It struck me early in the conversation that Ryan "got me" and understood what I felt was the problem. Turned out this issue did not have an easy 1 - 2 - 3 solution. It was complicated, really complicated, dealing with the tech people of one of the big commuicaton companies (we all know what that's like to tackle with, major headache). But Ryan hung in there every step of the way and had conversations with the agents I would have had no idea how to do. (Knows the lingo so he could move things along). All to say, I think Ryan is a good starting point when you've got an electronic challenge. Give him a whirl.

One said I could come by anytime and "maybe they could do it while I waited" but wouldn't let me make an appointment. I called Experimac, spoke with Noel. He said, "sure, come on over". I went in with my replacement battery. They replaced it. Showed me the old one. Charged a very minimal service charge. They were very polite and professional. I highly recommend them.

They never gave me my phone back and said they give them to a company to dispose of phone. Told me told call Apple, I just don't know what they'd be able to tell me? He got kind of defensive because I was asking why I would get this email. I was just trying to understand it. I got on iCloud and set to erase if it's ever turned on, just hoping it's enough that they don't get any information off that phone, seems like someone's trying to get into it (even if not turned on). I'd ask to keep old electronics and destroy yourself. Writing this here just so owner knows this happened, especially if the company they are using isn't supposed to be doing anything with these phones besides destroying them.

After rushing through the terminal to catch my flight, my egg fell down and shattered. Great! I figured this was okay, but over the course of a few days my phone got worse and worse where I couldn't even type a message to check on my family across the states. I contacted Jacob by phone, he answered very friendly. He had an issue with the location, but he did let me know he would there later than anticipated. He arrived when he said he would and stayed in contact with me regarding his ETA. Jacob remained a very professional demeanor and kept up pleasant conversation. I've had my screen fixed before, and Jacob pointed out the issues with what the previous location did, including using a non-apple screen and giving me a non-apple press button that deactivated my touch screen. My screen on my Iphone 6s responded at first to his new screen but after the 2nd day it went downhill. It eventually got so bad by day 3 it stopped responding to touch all together. The screen he used was junk. My previous cracked screen was better than this. My phone became unusable and I missed an entire day of work trying to get it fixed. Luckily the apple store got me back on track. If I had gone straight to the apple store it would have cost me less time & money than using Jacob.
