I whome with a new modem, the necessary cables, and instructions on how to install. DIY saves $50. My rate is locked in for a year, and then I either have to return the modem or pay a higher monthly rate. Installation looks easy. I'll let you know how it goes. Update: I did have to call tech support to get the modem installed, but their service was 5-star, too. The technician who came to my home, Michael, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He identified the problem (which was IT did not give me the correct sign-in information) and my high-speed Internet was up and running in minutes. I am so happy with the customer service, hardware, price, and speed of my Spectrum Wireless Services. I freely recommend Spectrum.

Stevie claimed I needed my wife present which was later found out she was Not needed as I was a Manager on the account costing me 2 round trips and 1 1/2 hours of wasted time and $10 in gas. I had explained to Stevie my wife was awaiting surgery and could not make the trip and I had her ID with me and she was available to speak on the phone all to No avail. I am not sure if it was incompetence or Stevies special time of the month that made the problem.. The next day the Manager corrected the problem professionally and politely which was appreciated! He took care of the entire switch over process and I didn't need to lift a finger. His installer was very polite and helpful in showing me how to work the system. happy I got Dish…read morenetwork for my house and direct tv for my rental house both from sky sat 20 . After calling Direct and Dish and getting the run around a friend told me about Sky sat 20. I learned that when you cal dish or direct a scripted salesperson will take your order then sub out the install to a very low payed installer . Dish and Direct have no one who gets a pay check from them , they use subs. Even if the installer has a truck that says dish or direct they do not work for them they are all subs. Sky Sats installers were great they were grown men with Experience and new their stuff. I fully indorse sky sat 20 I am happy and would recomend them to anyone If you want dish or direct don't call corporate call sky sat you will get a better experience.
