My friend and I were visibly struggling throughout class, yet there was little guidance beyond being told we were on the wrong side and even having resistance increased when we were already struggling. There were no check-ins during or after class. What disappointed me most was the studio's response. When we shared our concerns, we were essentially told that "policy is policy" and that no refund, credit, or accommodation could be offered. To make matters worse, we were told upon arrival that we needed to sign a waiver, but the front desk assured us it was fine to do so after class. Had we known how important that waiver would later become, we would have signed it before participating. To be fair, I've had great experiences taking climbing classes at Transform. Unfortunately, my Lagree experience was completely different and fell well below those expectations.

I've been loving all of my small group and zoom classes here!…read more Brian and Danielle have been great instructors on all of the equipment (I've taken classes on reformer, tower and chair), and I've gotten to try out so many new movements with them. As someone who has previous pilates experience, it's so refreshing to come to a studio where the teachers actually value and teach good form, while making sure you get a good workout and follow social distancing (masks on, everything's disinfected, windows open, etc.). At the same time, there's a great balance for beginners to get comfortable with the movements and equipment, since classes are so small. I brought a friend to her first equipment class a few weeks ago and she had a great time, too. Over zoom, I've had a blast with Dana and Brian. I wasn't really a fan of mat pilates classes before, but they've both taught me new equipment-free exercises and exercises with resistance bands that have helped me stay strong at home.

When I moved to Denver, I was hoping to finally find a studio with reformers and other equipment. I go between both studios in the Highlands and Wash Park. The community is just so lovely, the teachers so welcoming and the pricing actually affordable. I went from post-pandemic lack of exercising to Pilates 3 times a week. All of the instructors have been incredible. Emily and Kim truly have the magic touch with these studios. I've been practicing for 5 months and have seen my body change in ways I've never seen by just going to the gym. My body is stronger, more flexible and overall having a bit of a glow-up haha. After losing 120 lbs this has been the best, low impact way to build muscle, have more energy and look and feel pretty amazing. If you have been debating giving this a try or are looking for a studio with kind, helpful and one-on-one attention, this is the place. The classes are small but this allows you to actually improve with the help of your teachers. There is no pretentiousness here, just an open, welcoming and kind community. Plus, it's fun!

Street parking could be a little tricky depending on the time of your class, but I parked down the street around the corner. Nothing to fuss about. The studio is attached to an apartment complex, so it looks a bit camouflaged. The entrance is on 29th ave versus the actual address on Wyandot, it's right at the corner and there is a ramp going down. There is also a signage, so you should miss it. I was greeted with warm welcome since it was my first time, I just had to sign a waiver. The instructor gave me the quick run down of the place and how class goes, especially it would be my first time again with pilates since 2017. It is a small intimate studio with 7 machine. They alternate between reformer and cadillac each week, so if you're prone to one or the other best call or text to find out. This week, we're on the cadillac. It was very calm and easy to follow. Definitely for all levels of pilates. I was definitely shaking towards the end of the class and I felt great. I was exhausted for the rest of the day! It means that it was a great class and I'm out of shape, haha! I will definitely come again!

Don't let the location fool you; it looks a bit like you're walking into an apartment building, but it's cute and cozy and clean once you walk in. The equipment is great (some of the best reformers in the city). Most important are the teachers. Ansley and Krista are both pros; I always feel like I get a solid workout, but I also love the cooldown/stretch at the end (not every studio does this). Oh, and they have the best music mix. They do a great job with watching your form and giving tailored, personalized adjustments. And they clearly explain how to modify each move so you can push yourself, but not feel intimidated when you're starting out.
