He always takes the time to ease my concerns while still being incredibly thorough, and he explains everything in a way that's easy to understand without ever feeling rushed. Louise is a very anxious senior dog, and he genuinely understands her needs. He goes out of his way to make her visits as low-stress as possible and knows exactly how to handle her. That level of care means everything to us. He's also been proactive and thoughtful in Louise's care by helping refer us to a specialist when she needed a procedure and even checking in on her afterward, which we deeply appreciated. On top of that, he's been very accommodating of the fact that we live on an island, making scheduling and logistics much easier for us. The entire staff is just as wonderful. They are kind, patient, organized, and incredibly communicative. Even though Louise may never love going to the vet, my husband and I absolutely love this place and feel so grateful to have found them. Thank you Dr. Kraabel!

Jasmine and Carine at the front were gentle and thoughtful with how they reviewed everything that would happen. When we arrived they put us in a room for privacy. They weren't in your face about insensitive subjects like billing etc. They understood the grief we were facing and acted accordingly. Dr. Teberg was very thorough and helped us in the most difficult time. She was sweet and gentle with our baby girl. The office was clean and well maintained. I wish we had found them sooner to take care of all our pet needs. I would recommend this vet to anyone who asked.

While we were there, they even helped us get him caught up on his shots, which made the visit even more efficient. We arrived about half an hour before they opened to be early in line and everything moved so smoothly. From waiting, to the exam, to the shots and checkout, the entire visit took about an hour--which is amazing. We've since been back for follow-up shots and the process was just as easy and stress-free. The staff is incredibly friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The doctor was so kind and you can tell they truly care. Our husky is a stubborn boy, but they handled him with such grace and calmness. They never made us feel judged or rushed. On top of all that, their prices are extremely reasonable--literally a fraction of what other places charge. The exact same shots would have been about $600 more at PetSmart! And one thing I especially appreciated: they allow you to stay with your pet if you ask, which made me feel so much more comfortable bringing my boy somewhere new. I highly, highly recommend Community Pet Clinic. They've earned our trust and gratitude.

I would encourage anyone reading to take heed to the many other negative reviews left for this business by other customers. I brought my dog to this clinic off and on for about 3 years. I mainly went for anal gland expression as they are the cheapest in Federal Way for that service. They had always provided curbside service. Curbside service was the norm during the scamdemic for virtually every veterinary practice. Britney helped us during our most recent visit, and she claimed to be an office manager. She said I needed to come inside in order to check in. I explained that I was disabled and didn't bring my walker with me, because curbside service had always been provided. Britney said that curbside service had never been routinely offered, which wasn't true. She offered to assist me with ambulating to and from the office, which was appreciated. However inside of the office, the only seating available were plastic fold up chairs. There was also a long line which would involve prolonged standing. Both of these conditions aren't compatible with someone who has a disability. Curbside service was still being advertised on their front door and their website. I pointed this out and was again denied accommodation. I calmly, politely, and respectfully let Britney know that I would be contacting the ADA and/or The Human Rights Commission due to their refusal to provide accommodation. After this statement was made, Britney agreed to curbside service. When she returned my dog to my car, she said their clinic was not willing to provide service to me again. I asked why and she replied, "Because you threatened us even though we offered to help you". Britney's response might be understandable had I been disrespectful, rude, or raised my voice, but I remained calm, polite, and respectful during each interaction with her. I wasn't angry, I was dumbfounded. In shock. I later tried reaching out to the ADA and the Human Rights Commission, but a real person wasn't available to speak with. There was an outgoing recorded message stating that they weren't accepting any more reports/complaints. This was likely due to being inundated with reports/complaints during the scamdemic. It's a shame that this business was never held accountable for the (likely) illegal way they chose to conduct themselves.

Hey the dog is better that"s enough. My daughter recommended Sacajawea Yes, she had to drive further (as do I) but the service his great as the staff listens. Last week our 6 year old needed teeth cleaning. She had bad breathe and her gums were bad. The first they did was a blood test to see how she would tolerate anesthesia I dropped her off then got updates dates. The hospital called to say they had stated, then an update that gave her physical condition. then when they finished. Clearly, we weren't forgotten. Finally, they gave a pickup time. Which they kept. since then if have received a couple of calls asking how she is doing. As to the review about being late for an appointment. I've been late. This was merely for a annual check up and I was worried that my dog has something going on with her ears. We got turned away because we were past the five minute mark. And they would not allow us in. They also bombard you with emails and texts messages that sound very salesy to try to get to spend more money not to help your pet. I would highly advise never using this place for your furry family members. It's all about the money for them. This is not about helping your pets .

Her condition didn't improve so we took her to The Cat Doctor, where I had taken a previous cat. They did blood and urine tests and discovered the steroids had given her diabetes. The Cat Doctor prescribed insulin, but didn't address the vomiting and diarrhea, instead telling us to bring her back in a week. When we brought her back, she no longer had diabetes but was still vomiting and having diarrhea. The doctor told us to try changing her diet. When that didn't help, the doctor had her x-rayed. She told us she didn't know what was wrong and would need to do an ultrasound and it would cost $4k. We couldn't afford that, so for this entire year we've been doing our best to manage it with probiotics, diet and over the counter medication. We managed to significantly reduce the vomiting, but her diarrhea has gotten extremely worse, food is going right through her and she's hungry all the time. She clearly feels terrible. I called around to numerous vets, emergency rooms, urgent cares, and a veterinary diagnostic imaging service. I found out that an ultrasound costs only $750. When I spoke with the receptionist at The Cat Doctor, she confirmed the price. But since it's been a year, they want us to do all the same tests again (blood, urine, fecal, glucose and xrays) in addition to the ultrasound. So basically, we paid a bunch of money for almost nothing, didn't get the ultrasound she needed because we were misquoted by over $3k, our cat has been suffering for a year, and now we have to pay for all the same things again plus the ultrasound, all because The Cat Doctor vet grossly misquoted the cost of an ultrasound. We've been offered no reduced costs for her care, or even an apology for the vet's mistake. Now, we have to wait 10 days for her appointment, and we're extremely worried about her health. I called 3 emergency rooms and numerous vet, and was told they couldn't help because they don't do ultrasounds. I'm praying my cat survives long enough for her appointment with The Cat Doctor. I have found a couple of Urgent Cares that MIGHT do ultrasounds, just hoping she won't need urgent care because we simply can't afford it.
