First off, Boot Barn is our "go to" store in PV. For my husband's birthday in September, he picked out his presents at BB. A great shirt and a jacket... Both items were made beautifully and I went back to the store and bought a denom shirt for myself just three days ago. An added bonus, great service! I've never been to a boot barn but had to when visiting Arizona and I'm so happy I did. First of all do yourself a favor and ask for my girl Iris! She provided us with amazing customer service, made boot recommendations based on comfort and wardrobe. She also explained how to care for our boots with the leather conditioner and the oak inserts and explained how weather could affect the leather. Iris provided exceptional customer service and made me feel like I was shopping with a friend. Next time I'm in Arizona, I want to stop by at this location because I was that happy with her service! This location has so many boot options, clothing and was neat and organized. I mostly went with intentions of purchasing boots. They also have multiple styles at different price points. I was able to join the rewards program and I received a coupon for the next time I shop. read more

Seems like all the bad reviews for the Boot Barn are from the past. My wife and I had a great shopping experience on a busy Sunday afternoon. Multiple people asked us if we needed assistance looking for boots. Finally we did need help as Cory (Cody?) walked around the corner and asked if we needed help. He had great advice in size and type of boot and was very helpful...and very friendly. Did his job on the upsell of boot conditioner and a boot tree which I took him up on the conditioner. An impulse purchase in the hat area had two more people ask if we needed help, and again had great advice given. Walked out with a new hat and pair of boots (and conditioner). read more

Had to order a pair of boots from a different store. The salesperson Kimberly helped us several days ago and was amazing. We also interacted with Cyndee on that occasion and her customer service was terrible. We went to pick the boots up today and once again we met by Cyndee. We explained that we were there to pick up boots we ordered. She acted like we were bothering her. She found the boots and put them on the counter. She then just walked away. Didn't say a word very rude. Another employee came asked if we needed help. She helped us. The person helped us was training g and did an amazing job . We also saw Kimberly and she remembered us and made sure we were taken care of. We will be back , however Cyndee needs to improve greatly or be put some place where customers don't see her. read more

I shop at Boot Barn a lot. I dropped a lot of money with them at Cowboy Christmas during the NFR. For Christmas, I received a pair of Twisted X driving Mocs. I already had a similar pair, so decided to get a different style. I went in this past Sunday to see if they had anything. While I was looking, an older gentleman came up to assist and asked if I was finding what I wanted. I showed him what I wanted, but said they didn't have them in my size. He proceeded to show me where my size was. I explained I knew where my size was and that I didn't see anything I liked. He pointed out boots instead. No, came for these but thanks. I went to the half size up just to see if maybe they would fit and when I said they were too big, he told me I could just wear a thicker sock. Do the salespeople at Boot Barn generally recommend purchasing shoes that cost $100+ that are ill fitting? I asked him about ordering what I wanted and he started rambling on about something that made no sense and so I thanked him and just went to the counter to seek new help. Unfortunately there was not any better help at the counter. Since you can't order directly from Twisted X, I just figured I'd have Boot Barn order want I wanted as an exchange. Sounded easy enough. I asked Rosemary if I knew what I wanted, could she just order it for me. She got all indignant and told me they were doing inventory and there was no product coming in or going out. I was confused, so I pointed to my shoes I was returning and asked her isn't this product coming in? She just repeated what she had said and then added its corporate policy. She then said I could just hold onto the shoes for two weeks and come back then to do the return. I said no I didn't want to do that. She said in an annoyed tone well your other option is to go to another store. I asked her, what other store. She said another boot barn! I said the closest boot barn is like 2 hrs away. Her response was yeah, it's in Mesa. At that point, I'm highly annoyed with her attitude and lack of professionalism and piss poor customer service, so I ask her again, I can't just exchange these for a pair that I want to order? And she starts getting loud and tells me No! It's corporate policy that no store transfers are done or anything ordered during inventory! At this point, I over her attitude, so I flip her and her "corporate policy" the bird and tell her to just refund the money. She begins telling me how offended she is and how rude I am and I tell her I don't care, that she lacks the customer service to be in the position she holds. At no point in our entire conversation did she ever apologize for not being able to order the item. Not once did she ever explain when the refund would come through if I just choose to return my purchase (which was immediately) and not once did she ever recommend ordering from the Boot Barn website. This is not the first time Rosemary has lacked in the customer service department. My husband has also has an issue receiving his Farm Bureau discount while shopping there because she didn't know how to enter it. Instead of seeking assistance and finding someone to help her, she just kept saying she didn't know, she didn't know and wasn't going to give him the discount. He finally told her she needed to get the manager. I'll still continue to shop at Boot Barn, but it won't be at the PV location. Everything from now on will be done online. I will note, I posted to FB and was contacted by a customer service rep that apologized for the situation and placed the order on my behalf for the item that I wanted. I have also been contacted by the District Manager of Boot Barn. The company it's self has been awesome. And that's why I will continue my patronage. 5 stars for Boot Barn. Don't ever have items shipped directly to this store. UPS tracking showed delivery and signed by specific person and store can't find order. Now product is out of stock. Investigation is pending as we paid already. Out the boots and $250. until investigation is complete. Total lack of customer service. Have shipments sent to your home to avoid this experience. read more

The boots here are extremely expensive, about $200 for a pair. Now that I got that out of the way, let's talk about the store: The country theme is really nice and fits the store very well. The decor in the store is really nice as well. Heck, they've even got country albums on sale. They sell anything from jeans to, well, boots. And lots of boots. So if that's what you're looking for, I guarantee you'll find something you'll like. And if your looking for country shirts and jeans, they have a lot of that too. The staff at this place all have/fake country accents and they are very friendly and are willing to help you with anything. The only real issue I have with this place is that the only classification they have for the boots is male, female, and child. So finding a pair you like isn't very easy. And the store seems a bit clustered. read more

A very interesting and rude experience I had at the Boot Barn. I went in on Sunday the 9th of June and started looking around at boots. After looking for 15 minutes or so, a smiling associate approached me and asked if I needed any help. I asked if they carried Lucchese or Nocona boots. She smiled, laughed and said "We sell boots that function, we don't sell fashion here. Everything here is function, real boots for real men". She went on about Lucchese and Nocona not being a real boot, etc... I was so surprised by her response I didn't even say a word. I was also surprised that she was trash talking some decent boots and trying to upsell the Chinese made boots that they stocked. Maybe something has changed in the last 10 years or so, but to my knowledge a Handmade, in the USA, specifically Texas made cowboy boot, is quality. I am not so certain about a rubber soled boot that's made in China and doesn't smell like leather. I can honestly say, it's the only time I have ever been in a Boot Barn, and it is also my last. I know I shouldn't judge a company from one interaction with a dim witted sales associate, however the manager was close enough by to hear the entire conversation and didn't step in or say anything. That tells me all I need to know about the company. read more

Went on a Sunday 01.15.17 with grandkids. Older woman who was manager was not interested in helping me. No offer was made until I approached counter, only then did the younger employee, (woman) offer to assist me out of pity, as I had two small children with me. I hate to say it...but, we are not a kid friendly town. They give you a pitch that we are "family oriented", but in reality we-are-not!!! Got order placed we will see how that goes... Picked up ordered boots on 01.18.17 older gentleman was behind counter, he greeted me, but again, had to ask for help with the order that I placed as I stood there for 5 minutes waiting. Finally the younger employee, (woman) got me all situated. Kind of disappointed in the type of service that is offered here. Maybe internet will be the way to go next time. read more

I was recently shopping at the pv boot barn and I must say it has been thru some changes. I needed to return an item I bought in the valley the manager was friendly and great to deal with. Then I bought boots and a new hat. They took the time to teach me how to care for them. They could use more variety of boots but overall it was great. Will definitely be back to shop again.
