100% recommend!! From locals to tourists this tour was extremely popular among everyone! The…read moreservice we received was so great. Our bus arrived promptly and in front of our hotel. We went to four different wineries and were given a bit 80 minutes to explore Niagara on the Lake! After each winery our driver put all our bottles in designated boxes so we didn't have to carry them around the whole trip- so beneficial! We went to Pellitteri Estates Winery where we tasted their award winning white ice wine (top 100 wine in the WORLD), their red ice wine, a red and a white. We received a tour of their wine cellar, vineyard and learned about history of the winery. This was my favorite of all the wineries we went to- the quality was super high and the prices were actually pretty inexpensive! I bought their Cabernet merlot which was amazing! Wish I bought another bottle. Our second winery was Caroline Cellars. Honestly I would say I liked this winery just as much as Pelliterri- Pelliterri just had a classier vibe to it. Caroline had so many different varieties to taste! My husband and I's factories were the Pinot Cherry and Plum! So obviously we got a bottle of each. Our third winery was so pretty! Konzelmann Estate Winery looks like a castle right out of a fairytale! We were given deliciously cured meats, cheeses, crackers, and DELICIOUS ice wine truffles to pair with each of our tastings. I would definitely say their Peach wine was the best! The star of this winery was definitely their ice wine truffles. I wish I bought some- big regrets! Our last winery was our driver's pick and honestly it was pretty disappointing to end with Between the Lines. None of the wines stood out to anyone in our group. It honestly tasted like very cheap wine. Everyone on the tour wish we could go back to the first two wineries! Suggestion- take Between the Lines off your itinerary!! The time given to explore Niagara on the Lake was just enough time! We got a quick bite to eat at a nice pizza restaurant, walked to Lake Ontario, and shared an ice cream at the Cow. Such a fun time! I would definitely recommend taking this tour!

I couldn't have made a better decision. Our guide, Brendan picked us up the day we arrived at the bus terminal. We were nervous we might miss the tour because there was an unexpected delay crossing the border at the Peace Bridge. But I called the office and they assured us we would make it on time probably and if not they would help us to meet up with the tour. We luckily made it. Brendan was a great guide. He has a lot of energy and is knowledgeable about the local wines and the winemaking process. And he went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a great time. He took us to a very nice brewery, Ouest and several wineries including some extra stops of his favorites. My favorite of the wineries was Jackson Triggs because the guide there was the most knowledgeable and they gave us a tour of the whole process. The dinner at The Ravine was amazing as well. All of the vegetables in the salad are grown on the farm in back of the restaurant. I really couldn't recommend this tour more highly. Whether you're a wine snob or a novice you will enjoy it. If you do it book a tour with Brendan.

I've been on quite a few wine tours over the years, and it does take a certain personality to be able to do it well - but Rich was able to entertain AND be personable. He was professional AND endearing. He was always engaged in what we thought of each stop, and his relationship with the people at the breweries/distilleries/wineries seemed genuine. And whether it was him or just the smaller size, It honestly felt like we were treated better, being a part of Rich's group, then being in a group of 50 coming off a tour bus.   The stops were all great. I had some reservations about a few, but was honestly able to find something I loved at each location. Not to mention, the price is extremely competitive with all of the other tours I was researching. The van we were in was even fancy and brand new. If you're looking for something just a little different than your standard wine tour, I cannot recommend them enough.

Therefore, she had her husband…read moremeet me and my guest at the 2nd venue (The BrickYard) with the tasting from the 1st venue (The Silo). We tasted the Haystack from The Silo- soft hoagie bun with chopped beef, nicely complimented by cheese and seasonings topped with crispy potatoes. The Brickyard was a nice ambiance very pub-like with a nice outdoor patio area. We tasted the Caprese salad, Hard Apple Cider, sweet potato fries and dry rubbed chicken wing. Everything was delicious. The fresh mozzarella in the salad was soft and tasty. I'd never had a hard cider before but it was very good as well and likened to a sparkling rose type wine. My guest had the chicken and fries but said both were very tasty. 3rd stop was DiCamillo Bakery where we had a surprisingly appealing biscotti. I say surprisingly because any time I'd ever had a biscotti in the past it was flavorless and dry. This was the same texture as far as it being crunchy, but it was a game changer. I actually ended up buying a box and looking forward to getting into it with a cup of coffee. Next up-The Orange Cat Coffee Company. You were hit smack dab in the face with the aroma of various coffees and flavors. I tried the iced caramel coffee. It was refreshing on a hot afternoon. Had good flavor. My guest tried the hot version with the biscotti from DiCamillo's and REALLY enjoyed it. Gallo Coal Fire Kitchen was probably one of the most unique visits. They have an actual COAL FIRE PIZZA OVEN. So cool to witness! The pizza was VERY good and the head chef was very personable and engaged. We tasted the Margarita pizza. Sooo good! Lastly, we tasted the mini apple pie thingy at The Village Bake Shoppe. It was delicious! Loaded with fresh apples. Not too sweet. My favorite part was the actual rich history of Lewiston that Rita shared. I was greatly encouraged by the abolitionist movement and the underground railroad endeavors. There is an intentional effort to preserve, retain, and promote the true history here. I learned so much and will definitely be back for all the festivals Rita mentioned, namely the Jazz Festival scheduled for next week where thousands decend to experience. They have 2 other tours that I look forward to checking out too. 100% recommend.

As soon as we were finished boarding, we were informed that our guide for the day would not be joining us. I was pretty disappointed as I was looking forward to learning more about the wineries and about the area as a whole. The bus driver did her best and shared facts as we stopped at some of the wineries. The real stand out of the tour was Flatrock winery which had a beautiful view and had delicious wine. We stopped at Petticomb winery for lunch and the food was not good at all( pack lunch)and the winery was more of a farm. The wine here was okay. We stopped at 4 wineries in total and they were mostly subpar(I will not name them). With so many beautiful wineries in the region, I was hoping to see some of those and actually have a tour. These stops were more of a tasting and no real tour. I do believe this may vary based on the wineries that you are able to visit during your tour(which changes daily). It was a rather disappointing and I wish that I had just driven myself to some of the more grand, beautiful wineries and did the tours that are offered. Overall, the tour was okay. It was reasonably priced, I didn't have to drive, our bus driver was awesome, and some of the wineries had beautiful views. I got to chat with some new people and gain new experience.

And to this day, I still haven't heard a voice from anyone (Larry or Joseph) since 10:25 AM (5 minutes before my pick up time) the morning was what was supposed to be my tour. I had missed a call & voicemail message from Joseph at 10:15 AM asking me to give him a call, I just happened to call him at 10:25 to let them know my group and I were downstairs and waiting. At this point I am informed by Joseph that my driver had gotten into a fatal accident on her way to pick me up, and they he had tried 2 other drivers, but didn't have anyone to pick up my group. He then suggested while not suggesting that we drive ourselves, but we didn't have a car so that wasn't even an option. He tells me he is going to call me back in 10 minutes, he needed to try another driver and after waiting 30 minutes to no call back, I called him. That call and the 2 that immediately followed went to voicemail (that is not professionally set up at all). After the 3rd call I get a text message saying that he couldn't find a driver and would call me back shortly, which turned into I would not hear back from him until after 4PM which was a response to my call and text message at 2 PM. My WHOLE day, MY BIRTHDAY was ruined because this 5 1/2 hour tour was the plan for my birthday. I had to keep reaching out to Larry, who also was taking his sweet time to respond, but stated (in a text message) that the driver was in an accident but it wasn't life threatening. They didn't offer me an alternative OR a refund, I had to demand my refund, since everyone decided to stop communicating with me. I still have not be FULLY refunded. I have a dispute with my bank to get the balance that is still owed to me. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM....there is definitely something fishy going on with these two. They only get a star because I have to give at least one to post my review.
