My aunt was in town, and I suggestes that her and my mom check out this store, as she wanted to do…read moresome vintage and thrift shopping. I hadn't been, but looked like it would be a good place based on the description and reviews. My aunt loved it, and boasted about her amazing finds! Great pieces and and prices. A few weeks later for Mother's Day, my mom gifted me the cutest bag that she had picked up on that visit with her sister. And she talked about Trish like she was a friend. I had the rest of the day to myself, so decided to go check it out for myself. And oh my goodness, was I thrilled that I did! I found two jackets (one vintage, and the other the cutest designer puffer), a handful of tops (casual and sporty), a romper, earrings and more! The service was outstanding. She was kind, fun, and not pushy at all. I could see why my mom spoke of her so highly. We talked trends and had a few laughs while I shopped and tried things on. Looks Better On Me is the hidden gem I didn't know I was looking for! I'll be back for sure and am telling my vintage and thrift loving friends to get in there... there's something for everyone, you just have to look!

You can tell a lot of thought and care goes into the stores upkeep. The owner was welcoming and helpful-not overbearing or pushy. While shopping, a local that was shopping, mentioned she stops in at least once a week, I visit SD every year and def adding this shop to top of my list. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I'm very disappointed with my experience at this store. We shop here quite often since I live…read morenearby, but the way the manager (or the person in charge) treated my children was unacceptable. She has glasses and streaks in her hair - I forgot her name, but if I remember it I will gladly share it. My boys are children - sometimes they are a little noisy, but nothing unusual. On one occasion, they were simply standing in line and talking a bit, and she immediately told them to be quiet. I honestly didn't understand - is this a hospital or a clothing store? On another visit, she literally followed us around the store. No matter what my children did, she kept finding reasons to comment and correct them, to the point that they started feeling uncomfortable and even afraid of her. No customer or child should feel that way while shopping. It doesn't matter how good the merchandise or prices are - this is not how you treat customers. The store is large and often messy, yet instead of managing staff or organizing the store, she seemed focused only on my children. When I asked for her name, she loudly said my name back to me and told me I was welcome to file a complaint, as if this is something she's used to hearing. Very disappointing behavior and extremely unprofessional!!!!!!!. I expected much better.

So the one thing that I really can't stand about this location is you come in. There's like 15…read moreminutes left before they close, sometimes 30 minutes and they will sit and keep announcing. We're closing in 10, we're closing in 5, and sometimes it's a whole 15 minutes, maybe 20, and they're literally announcing half of the time. How are you gonna tell me that? I have five minutes left when you don't close for fifteen minutes just to rush me out of there? knowing that I have more than enough time and rushing people out while were shopping because you wanna go home early! The customer service here is poor as well. The store is very disorganized. All of the people that work here seem like they hate their job.But truth be told no one's forcing any of them to work here! I don't recommend this Store in any capacity.

I got my wedding dress at Prevue Bridal about a month ago and had such a great experience here!…read more The associate was so kind and made me feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, I'm horrible with remembering names, but I was there January 10th and my appointment was at 3:30 PM (hope this helps get her a shout out). She made great selections based on the style I wanted and I ended up choosing the 3rd dress I tried on. This was my very first wedding dress appointment and I was suprised to have found the perfect dress so quickly. The prices were also very reasonable compared to other places I was looking into. Definitely recommend Prevue bridal!

I drove over an hour in heavy traffic with a friend to shop for a wedding dress and was turned away…read morebefore even making it through the door. On Tuesday, March 3, I called at 3:27 PM while driving from the UTC area. I saw 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM appointments available, indicating they were fairly open that afternoon, but explained I wasn't comfortable entering my credit card information online because reviews mention a strict 15-minute late charge policy. I told the associate I would try my best to make the 4:30 PM slot, and that if other brides arrived before me they should take priority. I also said that if it looked like I could arrive within the 4:45 PM grace period, I would enter my information while driving. I was communicating proactively because that day a fiery fatal tractor-trailer crash shut down southbound I-805 near I-8 for roughly 12 hours, creating traffic chaos across San Diego. As traffic worsened on the 52 East, my ETA slipped to about 4:48 PM. At 4:25 PM, I called again to explain that I likely wouldn't arrive before 4:45 PM and wanted to avoid being charged the late fee. I asked what options were available. I was simply trying to communicate proactively and avoid being charged for something outside of my control. I was repeatedly told that because I was not already in their appointment system before 4:30 PM, they could not help me at all. I suggested several reasonable options: (1) marking me as arrived so I could finish driving safely, or (2) simply working with the situation, but every suggestion was rejected. They offered to apply the $50 late fee towards a dress, but couldn't answer what would happen if I didn't find my dress there. The conversation continued in circles. At that point I was about 10 minutes away and would have arrived at 4:48 PM, just three minutes past their grace period. Despite calling ahead, communicating honestly, and making every effort to come to their store, they refused to accommodate me. My friend had come with me to help look for a wedding dress, so the situation unfortunately wasted both of our time. We ended the call around 4:40 PM, and I turned around and drove home. Ironically, at 4:45 PM, the store called back with a workaround: if I made an appointment for the next day, they could simply mark me as "arrived" in their system and take me in immediately. This made it clear they had the capacity to help the entire time, but had chosen to rigidly enforce their process instead of welcoming business. When I pointed this out, I was told they have been in business for 40 years, which makes the lack of flexibility and basic customer consideration all the more surprising. Based on this experience, I'm glad I learned how this business operates before even walking through the door. It doesn't inspire confidence in how customers are treated once they've committed, and it's not the kind of experience that would make me feel comfortable trusting them with something as personal as a wedding dress.
