This place is a vibe. Anytime I've been here I have a blast. Good music good people. I will say the only downside is it gets really Hott in here when it starts getting packed. It seems like its been years since anyone wrote a review for Booty Bassment. But let's just say that my experience last night was definitely Booty. I'm from the Bay Area. So I really had high expectations in terms of everyone getting it on the dance floor, which people were. But I guess the music out here is just a bit different and there's totally nothing wrong with that. 1. $15 cover to enter. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but the reasons below is what made it not worth it. 2. The bartender. I got a male caucasian with long hair as my bartender. First time at this bar and I wasn't entirely sure what "sweet, mixed drink" was good. So I asked him, "Can I get a Moscow Mule and something mixed with Blue Caracao and maybe mixed with tequila?" Well let me tell you, both drinks was Booty for sure. I've never tasted a Moscow Mule like that in my life. It almost tasted like Apple Juice with artificial ginger beer from the Dollar Tree top with low grade tequila. But it was only 10% better than my Blue Curacao and Tequila mix. He literally gave us Blue Curacao and Tequila. A real bartender would not serve anyone a drink that's un drinkable. After I let him know that it didn't taste well, he gave a look and proceeded to add sugar. I was so shocked by this and left the bar with my supposedly Moscow Mule and mixed Blue Curacao drink to avoid confrontation. Please re-new your bartending license and get some classes on customer service my guy. 3. The music was... Okay. The DJ could not transition the music whatsoever. There was no build up, Lean Wit it Rock Wit It played almost 3 times in the span of the 35 minutes I was in there, and wasn't ratchet enough. I thought a place called Booty Bassment would have done better. First time here and definitely not coming back. I would have left it all alone and called it a day, but the $15 cover to enter is why this review is here today and that was just my experience. If you have fun here, then that's on you! read more

If you like to dance and you like to bump booty basement is for you! The first time I came to this place I was invited by a girlfriend who lives in the area. I was immediately in love. It's a cash-only bar with a door guy but if you show up before 9 it's free after 9 it's $10. That being said, there's also an ATM inside the bar you can get money from if you need it. The restrooms are usually serviced. The music here rocks or bumps whatever however you want to say it but it's awesome hip hop music all your Classics plus bunch of cool stuff you never heard. I feel like my experience here wasn't that great mostly because it was super crowded. I love the whistle stop and good dancing music so I thought I would enjoy it more, but I honestly had no space to move and also the cover was $10. I guess we should have gone earlier but decided to go last minute. I feel like you have to mentally prepare yourself and take a bunch of red bulls to get the full enjoyable experience and I was not in the mindset. New and fun. The dancing is great and the drinks are really good. If you get there early you can avoid the long lines here. I really love how the whole place is dancing themed. It seems like at a lot of clubs and bars recently know one seems to be dancing anymore. So, I love how this place set out to change it. The dancing was so entertaining, there's a range of people from pros to bad. So, even if you don't think you're a good dancer don't worry you're not alone. Thanks for the fun night! I had high hopes for this place. The music was whatever. A few good songs and then a bunch of random songs you can't dance to, and then it was a few good songs, and so on, and it was like this for hours. I'm glad I got in before 9 because I can't believe people pay $10 for this place. I ordered two jager bombs on 3 different occasions and each time the total was different. Why are the prices not consistent? And the hand soap was powdered soap that had no scent. I don't ever see that unless I'm in Mexico (which I love) so that threw me off. If you're going to charge people $10 for cover, at least provide soap that actually smells good and makes me feel like it worked. read more

I went here last night with some friends for the first time. We had so much fun! Be prepared for it being incredibly crowded and loud music and also be prepared to dance! The line can get really long to get in, I waited for my friends to get in for over an hour, so get there at or before 9. Hopefully we will be back soon! read more
