It wasn't great, but I will give it another chance in the future. Husband loved the mangonada. I had the Mexican street corn with hot cheetos. I think that may have been my error. It wasn't enough flavor, I added my own tahini. Service was great. Place was cute and welcoming.

Was excited to see this open up off the highway but the pricing for amount of food is too much for us. Was hoping it could be an after school snack place for us. $3 for a one bite empanada $4 small horchata and $4 for a bowl of corn plus a credit card service fee 3% plus tax and tip. They have ice cream, tostilocos, fresh juice and cake slices. No churros. I wonder how small a $9 taco would have been. A girl had a flaco taco shirt on so I'm wondering if it's the same owner if you like their food.

Le Café Gourmet is truly a gem. I recently purchased several small quiches (asparagus, artichoke,…read moreand bacon and cheddar) from Le Café Gourmet for an event, and they were an absolute hit! Every single one was delicious, and everyone was raving about them. The pastry was flaky and buttery, and the fillings were full of flavor. If you're looking for delicious, high-quality food for a gathering or special occasion, I highly recommend Le Café Gourmet. Beyond the quiches, their muffins, pastries, pies, cookies and coffee are all fantastic. They offer a wonderful assortment of baked goods, and everything I've tried has been outstanding. Their sandwiches are absolutely delicious as well. The café itself is adorable. The furnishings and décor make you feel as though you've stepped into a charming Paris café. It has such a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to sit, relax, and savor every bite. Le Café Gourmet is one of those places where the quality shines through in everything they do. Whether you stop by for coffee and pastry, a sandwich for lunch, or food for a gathering, you simply can't go wrong. I highly recommend Le Café Gourmet.

I did not have one but if the other food was an indicator, they were delicious. The service was good even though they were packed with customers. The owner was bringing out coffee and bussing tables. Also very good prices compared with other places in the neighborhood. All in all, I would definitely return when in town.

A really fun find in Charleston! This crepe house (also sandwiches) was a real delight. We chose…read morea Brittany breakfast crepe (ham, egg, and cheddar, $16) and a sweet John's Island crepe (bananas, brown sugar, brown butter, $9). Both were generous with fillings, great flavor, and carefully cooked (so easy to burn a crepe....) I also got a lunch special, which was a reuben with cabbage and potatoes as sides. I do not remember the price, but this was a real meal. The bread held up well, the sides were well seasoned, and I enjoyed every bite. Coffee (self serve) was good quality and they made sure the pot was never empty. Service was from the counter and was genuinely friendly. They were all part of the casual atmosphere. The place is relaxed and has a real neighborhood vibe. We ate many great meals during our stay in Charleston, many fancy and some low key. Queen Street stands out as the most pleasant of surprises.
