We found Land O' Lakes Nature RV Campground to be exactly the peaceful getaway we were hoping for…read more The campground is absolutely beautiful and incredibly quiet. The sites are all pull-throughs, plenty big enough for our coach and Jeep, and most of them have a great view of the pond.
If you're looking for paved roads, concrete pads, fancy bathhouses, and all the typical campground amenities, this probably isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for a place with amazing star-filled skies, tall pines, fresh air, and the sounds of nature, Land O' Lakes delivers.
There are easy hiking trails throughout the woods, and having free firewood available was a really nice bonus. Matt, the owner/manager, was friendly, helpful, and clearly takes a lot of pride in the campground. You can tell he cares about keeping the place clean, peaceful, and well-run.
We enjoyed our stay at Land O' Lakes Nature RV Campground so much that we've already booked our reservation for next year. It's a special place, and we're looking forward to coming back.
There is plenty to do in and around the small town of Land O' Lakes, WI. Boating, fishing, off-roading, and hiking are just a few of the ways to enjoy this beautiful area.
During our stay, we visited several local favorites, including Bent's Camp, Cisco Lake Resort, The Burnt Bridge Tavern, and Dublin Sports Bar & Grill. Each offered great food, friendly people, and a fun North Woods atmosphere. Best of all, they are all within about a 30-minute drive of Land O' Lakes Nature RV Campground.
