She was always available to answer my questions, walked me through every step, and even provided helpful videos explaining what to expect before and after surgery. As a former professional snowboarder, I've had my share of injuries and surgeries over the years, so I'm not new to the process. Without question, this was the most comfortable, organized, and stress-free surgical experience I've ever had. I'm grateful to Dr. Sohrab, Deb, and the entire team for the outstanding care.

I wish she would adapt her scheduling to accommodate this, but after several years with her, it hasn't changed. Office management has changed. Even ownership has changed. She's one of the top docs of any type that I've ever seen. She's extremely thorough and really takes time to listen as well as do a thorough exam. Her annual exam includes an EKG and pulmonary function test. I've had numerous appointments that have lasted over an hour. She's also very proactive -- I've had a hip issue for years that my two previous GPs ignored, and she helped with a couple of treatment ideas and ordering imaging, which included a pretty epic battle with my insurance company. I will need surgery to fix it, but she's the first doc who actually listened and helped me address it. I've also seen her for several other issues, including Covid, gut issues, rheumatology, and anxiety. She's been knowledgable and compassionate about them all, and her referrals have been solid. Be aware that there is a concierge fee. To me it's extremely well spent: it buys me long, thorough appointments (1 hour plus) and phone access outside office hours. I once called with post-Covid breathing issues after hours, got the doctor directly, she reassured me I didn't need to go to ER and saw me the next day at 7:30 am. I can text and get a response on a weekend. Fee is 1/10 of what it would be in Silicon Valley. If you are a person who only sees the doctor once a year, might not be worth it.

I arrive for my appointment and first thing is they make it abundantly clear (with tacky printed paper signs) that they DO NOT see patients without a co-pay. Receptionist was rude, but hey low wages and $6 gas, I get it. But at least get some professional signs. I forgot my wallet and was informed they don't see patients without a co-pay. Period. They don't take any form of digital payments. I was able to use my digital credit card's virtual card number for the $50 copay. I sat down and waited and waited min for my appointment. They had no problem giving plenty of attention to the vendors who came in after me. Two vendors were led back to see their physicians without haste and both appeared to come in unannounced. I finally get called back, with no apology for any delays. I've been treated better in a line at a night club. After initial question were gathered, I was informed that I was only scheduled for a basic eye exam and NOT anything related to getting my prescription updated (even though I specifically stated that when I called), I would have to come back and spend ANOTHER $50 to see a different doctor who does not specialize in Keratoconus, but handles prescriptions. Both of my previous experiences at optometrist both doctors who specialized in my eye disease were able to examine my eyes AND fit my scleral lens prescription. Here it seems they want to milk you for all they can, so book you for 2 separate appointments. They did cancel my appointment, but I wasted my time taking off work and going here to sit around in a waiting room with 1 bar of cell service. Avoid. The customer service is awful. They do a great job at making you feel like a number. But that's what you get in America where our healthcare is a luxury to be rationed. If you are going to rob people for co-pays at least get some decent wifi so we can browse the internet while we wait patiently for our rationed health care.
