    donuts in arizona

This seems to a certain management member's favorite donut stop- this time I finally managed to get to the box before more than half or all were gone! And, I can't disagree with why they love this place so much- these donuts are REALLY good! So, it's about a 30 minute drive from this location to our office. The fact these donuts arrive still warm & perfectly in-tact speaks measures! They aren't at all "messy" and the presentation is fantastic. We really do appreciate how delicately they place & package them- those with allergies or certain preferences certainly love there isn't such a "cross contamination" hazard. For as many times as these have been brought in, there hasn't ever been a complaint, besides none being left for the field crew by the time they get in! Lol... ya snooze ya lose! The only thing with these- they are NOT at all "healthy"... not even remotely close to being allotted on any diet! They are sheer, pure, deep fried & sugar coated diabetes in a box! But, exceptionally pretty! I allow myself ONE, a SMALL one, as a treat. And, I don't usually consume the entire thing right away as I'm balancing work... so I couldn't help but notice the fact the paper towel it was sitting on was entirely SOAKED in oil/grease by the time I went to finish the last 1/2 of it. YIKES!! I feel like there is just a little too much oil used in frying these, if they're seeping to the point of soaking. None the less- you aren't going to get anything less than fantastically tasty here! I opted to bring a leftover plain ol' classic glazed one home for dessert & even 8+ hours later, yummy!!! They have that perfect consistency of slightly doughey, but perfectly cooked. Fresh is best, but they hold up extremely well & I wouldn't be surprised if the "day old" sitting out still tasted great! Out of allllll the donut shops visited & generously brought in to share- this one seems to be the most popular repeat & I have to agree! While they're a tad heavy on the oil side, they still somehow manage to outshine any competition. BoSa disappears quicker than any other dozen brought in. For a good reason! ...just not such a good reason if you are on a diet, LOL!

Wow! What more needs to be said? This bakery was an absolute delight from start to finish…read more Located in the lobby of an apartment building, the space is beautiful, cozy, and welcoming. As I looked around, I couldn't help but think that if I lived there, I'd probably be stopping in daily. The combination of a bakery and coffee house makes it the perfect neighborhood spot. Although I skipped the coffee this visit--it was mid-afternoon on a Sunday, and I wasn't looking for a caffeine boost--I'll definitely be back to give it a try. For this visit, we focused on the baked goods and sampled four items: the chocolate croissant doughnut, maple croissant doughnut, vanilla doughnut, and a red velvwtcupcake. Every single one was delicious. The croissant doughnuts were wonderfully flaky with just the right amount of sweetness, the vanilla doughnut was soft and flavorful, and the red velvet cupcake was rich and satisfying. It's rare to find a bakery where every item you try is a winner, but this one delivered across the board. Whether you're stopping in for coffee, a sweet treat, or both, this charming bakery is well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back.

Just an okay spot for me…read more It's in the title, too sweet lol I didn't write a review the first time I went and I remember leaving with a Soso feeling and the second time confirms my feelings. Perhaps dining in is a better experience, I can't remember if they warm up the pastry but we took our maple, cheesecake croissant, and cinnamon roll to go. It tasted a day old. The croissant/ bread didn't taste fresh, almost stale. I opted to warm it up a bit, it was a bit better but then it just started feeling too sweet so I wasn't interested anymore. the cinnamon roll breading lacked flavor, but the cream on top was good. But again the bread dough just felt stale. It was a Sunday in the AM that we went. Not busy at all. Since it's a part of an apartment, parking is a little awkward and can feel tight. You could easily not notice the place and mistake it for being closed. It's right off of the round about. (the wind had blew over the open sign and the open sign wasn't lit) Service is okay, nice enough. Not really warm. Seating is ample and is cozy to sit and read or catch up with a friend.

I noticed that one of the workers was super nice and he was helping us out, but the other one seemed impatient and started laughing at us when we had picked out the ones we wanted. she gave a very condescending smile and it was a weird interaction. other than that it was super slow in there but the donuts themselves didn't have much flavor. they have a good texture but you can't really taste anything other than the donut itself.

Overall (4/5): Key thing, is that they have a drive through! Donuts are fresh and coffee is bold. The cake donut was a little dry though. Donut Taste (4/5): we got a rainbow specialty donut and sprinkle cake donuts the rainbow donut was fluffy and just the right sweetness. The cake donut was a little dry, but the flavors were great. Store Quality (5/5): inside, the shop is very clean and organized. Staff (5/5): the staff is friendly and they'll take care of you. We were promptly greeted and was able to order and pay in less than five minutes. They seem to run a number of events, as we visited in donut day and got one of our donuts for free. Would definitely recommend this, the next time you're craving a good donut!

They even bring them your car at pick up. Jenn and Ray are the nicest couple. While Jenn being an ER nurse and Ray working at SRP they vacationed in Maui. After returning to Arizona, they had fond memories of the malasadas they had eaten. (Read more on https://www.mauisadas.com) They couldn't locate any locally and decided to bake their own! My favorite fillings for these pillowy, soft donuts are raspberry, blueberry creme and mango! It was easy to place my order. When placed online, you can select from many items. Be it malasadas, their unique cookies or their one of their banana bread varieties. With the Malasadas you are given a choice of filling and dustings. (Cinnamon sugar dusting, cinnamon dusting or plain.) Pick your desired pick up day and time then pay. On the day (Friday or Saturday) and time of your scheduled order, just text them when you drive up and your fresh goodies will be brought right to your vehicle. There are cute signs that mark where to park while you wait. In this local business, it shows the love that is being put into everything they do! A five star experience from beginning to end!!
