Third great point - when we had problems Tate got back to our location within 45 minutes and spent all necessary time to correct problems and make sure we were all set to go. Fourth great point - They readily agreed to let us have the lift for another day for 1/2 price due to the few hours we lost due to malfunction. That allowed us to finish all we needed to do. I mentioned to the man who took care of the transaction that it was dirty. His response? "Well, it's a carpet cleaner!" He then proceeded to lift up the tank and show me the platform that it sits on, saying "See? Clean!" (an area that has nothing at all to do with the cleaning process - AND it was NOT clean) He proceeded to say, with bad attitudinal inflection "Whaddaya want me to do, go in the back and take it all apart right now and clean it?" (That should've been done the last time it was returned, or in the day he had since I called and reserved it.) I asked him how wet it would leave the carpet. "Not very wet." Not very specific. I really needed it, so I went ahead, against my better judgement. It smelled like an old wet rag mop that had been shoved into a dark corner and left for a week. The filter had what looked like pet hair partially obstructing it. It was so bad I decided to take pictures. It took me over an hour to get it into a condition where I felt able to use it without it making my carpet not only dirtier, but also stinky. I'm currently running every fan I own and a dehumidifier in order to try to dry everything out so that mold won't form. I would never set foot in this place again. Do yourself a favor and give it a wide berth.

Very happy with the service. Only reason it's not 5 stars is the price is a bit high, but it did include pick up and drop off.

My husband, after performing the maintenance on our mower and having it still not start, brought it to Outdoor Power for help. They told him that since he did the maintenance it shouldn't take long to fix it, and it would probably take about a week. Two weeks later we received a call that the carburetor was broken and we needed a new blade, which would take about 3-5 days. Slightly annoyed that it already took an extra week for that call, we understood (being in customer service ourselves) that sometimes things happen and we would wait the 3-5 days. Fast forward and we still heard nothing. My husband finally called up again after two weeks and we were told they were waiting for the blade to arrive from Husqvarna. They said they would follow up with us on when the blade would arrive but never called back. My husband then called the following Saturday seeking an update and was told that there was an issue with Husqvarna and some of the crates never showed up and they were fighting with Husqvarna to get it resolved. My husband called again this past Saturday and we were told they were still waiting on the blade, but had to wait for Aaron Nickerson, service manager, to give us a call back and advise us on the situation. Aaron did call my husband on Monday and said it was out of his control and that my husband should take the initiative to call Husqvarna and complain about Nashua Outdoor Power's order to escalate our situation. At that point a loaner mower was offered to us with no guarantee this mower would be done in time, which my husband declined because we had ordered a blade off of Amazon at that point and it was arriving today. In customer service, why is it the customer's responsibility to escalate your issue? It is very disappointing that this is what was explained as a way to solve our problem after it was clearly being escalated. It is not our problem to solve your distribution issues. Shouldn't that be Aaron's job as the service manager for your company? It took over 6 weeks to get our mower back, my husband ordered a blade to see what would happen and it took a week to arrive to our home. In 6 weeks, what do you think our lawn looks like? It amazes me it took 6 weeks to even be offered the loaner. It cost $180 to get this all repaired and done. The best you could do was $20 off to save the customer. To boot, when the mower was handed over to us, you had placed a large decal of your company on our mower without asking our permission to do so. What makes you think this would be okay after 6 weeks of waiting and clearly the customer wasn't happy? Now we have the annoyance of using all of our goo gone to take this off. We went to your company expecting a premium service, and your service was completely unacceptable. We'll be looking to ordering our parts from Amazon going forward and hiring the neighborhood serviceman to do the work.

Installation was done perfectly - 2 young guys came, set up in 30-40 minutes in the best place possible in the yard. Set up the tables and left the chairs on top as we planned to move the tables around. Linens were fine, but instead of red as ordered, they gave us white - but they returned the next day and left the red ones for use. Tent was perfect, and they came a few days after the event and took down the tent and chairs with no problem.

He told me the website to go to and the store number to add. He wouldn't activate the license till I got the machine. Upon arrival he gave me instructions on the safe operation of the vehicle then a demonstration of the controls. Then had me take the controls to make sure I was comfortable operating the machine. As Steves notes on their website, their rental equipment is far newer than all other nearby rental locations. Having experienced starting issues with equipment rented elsewhere, Steves equipment is far superior. Likewise, their customer service from Steve and Stephen is second to none. Their equipment is not only new but well Maintained and they offer delivery service if you need larger equipment and don't have a larger truck to move it. If you need to rent anything I highly recommend them as your first and only rental center.
