We went to our demo excited to pick up our camper and start making memories. The tech doing our demo, while nice, was not knowledgeable about our camper and on multiple occasions pointed us in the direction of Google and YouTube. We got the trailer home and it was time to unhitch it from our truck. The jack stopped working due to the battery not being fully connected- something we assumed they would have made sure was completed. There was also water found within the inline fuse making it soaking wet. That was not the end. While putting the slide out we blew a fuse and had to replace them. There was also cracks in the molding we were assured would be fixed but it wasn't. Once we were finally able to get inside, things continued to get worse. There were cobwebs all over the place, leftover food in the microwave and grill from previous owners, a dead spider in the bed among other issues. It took over two hours to clean what we expected and were told would be done prior to picking the camper up. We reached out to both the salesman and finance manager we worked with as surely this couldn't be the level of customer service they feel is appropriate. We were given their sincerest apologies and assured our feedback would be used to train staff. When our battery died during this time period they offered to replace it. Unfortunately that was not the end of our bad experience. While preparing for our first trip we had to stop at a dump station as there was waste in the black tank that hadn't been emptied. On that first camping trip the front half of the underbelly of camper peeled off. This was another concern that we noted when looking at the camper and were assured that it would be taken care of and was "fine". Instead of being able to enjoy our camper we purchased, all enthusiasm has been taken from us as we worry and stress about what's going to happen next and what else might not have been caught by us or by Cold Springs staff when they allegedly inspected the camper.  If you buy a used camper from Cold Springs PLEASE do your due diligence to make sure the camper is inspected fully and the work you were told would be done is completed.

I needed to get a puncture repaired on my boat trailer tire and called Daniels to have it done. I…read morespecifically told the person I spoke to that I wanted it both plugged and patched and did so again when I gave him the tire. He finished way too quickly and when I asked him if he had installed a plug and patch as I had requested he said no and then tried to convince me that a plug by itself was fine and that he didn't have good luck with patches. I don't have a spare tire on my boat trailer so if this tire fails on the highway I've got a problem. Plugging and patching a tire is highly recommended as a permanent repair so now I need to go to another tire shop and have a patch installed as I had originally requested.

I had bought a large…read moretrailer (park model) and needed it removed from a campground and brought five miles to a private lot. There was also an attached deck and sunroom which they assured me they could remove and transport as well. It was not a cheap job but it needed to be done. They were very professional coming out and I was pleased by the work. The trailer was brought to my property, however it was not placed how it was supposed to be set up. The truck was either not big enough or as the driver said it did not have the proper tires, which caused them to keep spinning on the slight slope and newly graveled lot. As I had been very pleased with the work and had full trust in the company I paid the fee and trusted them when they said they would come back with the right truck and move it into place. 97% of the job was done, how I regret paying now when the job wasn't finished. However I was still happy enough with the work that I scheduled them to rebuild the deck and install the sunroom when they came back. A price was given and I agreed. However after that it was just crickets. Unanswered texts and phone calls. As the season was just about over I figured I would just call in the spring and have it done, hoping I would get a different response. Unfortunately the same unanswered text messages. One time I did receive a very quick and professional response back when they thought I was a new customer but as soon as he realized who I was it was silence again. There is absolutely no way I could recommend this company to anyone based on their customer service and inability to complete the job.

Update (Dec 5, 2025). My original 1-star review (10/10/25 install at MLO Charlotte) cited missing…read moreparts and a solar wiring mismatch for my EcoFlow setup, plus slow responses. Since then, MLO's COO personally stepped in and made it right. What was fixed: Rear tailgate trim piece installed (replacing the temporary bulb seal) -- no more water-intrusion concern. Smoke detector provided as promised. Solar reconfigured to parallel and terminated for EcoFlow DELTA 2 as requested; system now operates within spec. The initial delay and communication gaps were frustrating, which is why I didn't go 5 stars. That said, the final outcome is solid, and the leadership follow-through earned back my confidence.
