From the minute I called him, when I was so recently bereaved, he was as helpful and caring as family. He guessed our request was for sitting shiva and offered chairs and table and tablecloth, and by the very next morning he had set up a 20x20 tent in my father's backyard, and even returned with a gift for him. Now, this may well be a one time slip, and no basis for generalizations. I would go back and give them another shot, for sure, in the hopes that this is an isolated incident. For the health and safety of the workers, their families and so many others with whom they interact, this business makes it clear that customers are to wear a mask to enter. I would love for customers, our families, and those with whom we interact -- like the immunocompromised patients whose lives my decisions impact -- to trust that our health and safety are also considered by this business's employees. Right now, we need to be human with one another. Each of us is more than a vector. And yet we also need to look out for one another.
