My fiancée ordered a stretch limousine to take us from Beverly to Cape Cod on Christmas morning. Our sales rep was Thane. He was very friendly, professional and thorough with answering all questions and explaining charges, etc. Our driver was Edgar Lopez. The limo was clean and arrived 15 minutes early, Edgar was very friendly and professional. He opened the door for us and placed our bag in the trunk. His driving was excellent and all went very smoothly. It was a great ride and a lot of fun. I used Boston Chauffeur this past weekend for a 16th year old birthday dinner into the North End. When I went to book the limo through Mark he was extremely flexible on the time of the ride and provided excellent pricing for such a professional experience. During COVID this seemed the best option to have a small group socially distance and Mark and his team did an excellent job with all of this. Worst car service I've had in my career. I selected Boston based on their client list and reviews. Booking was easy. The reservation was to pick up my daughter and her friend from Boston College at 230 Friday and take them to the airport (different terminals). The driver was 20 minutes late. No phone call. I called his cell and no answer. I texted his cell and no answer. He finally shows at 250 and then cannot figure out how to open the trunk on the Mercedes. Took 5 minutes. The girls finally left for the airport at 255. All of this time stamped on their phones and my talk with dispatch. During this time, I'm on the phone with Boston Chauffeur dispatch trying to figure out what is going on. The reservationist assured me that "accounting" would be contacting me about a discount given the terrible service. On the way to the airport, the driver had no idea what terminals Jet Blue and Southwest flew out of. It was in the reservation. So the girls googled on their phones and told him. Just got the bill today. The driver billed us $40 for wait time - when my daughter waited for him for 20 minutes to arrive. And then 5 minutes to learn how to operate the trunk. WTF. I will be disputing the bill through AMEX since Boston decided not to contact me. Don't use Boston Chauffeur unless you want to be picked up late, over charged, and receive no apology. read more

There was a family emergency in Baltimore and I had to leave at once. No kennel or airline would take my new puppy since he didn't have all his shots. I was desperate and a friend called Boston Chauffeur. Enter, Roger, a knight in a Lincoln Town Car. I'd never had a professional driver before and was worried about being stuck in a car with a stranger for ten hours. Roger was a delight--and I felt comfortable with him at once. He knew when to keep quiet and when to talk--and he has some great stories. Most important, he was an expert at the wheel. But he went beyond being a mere driver. He was great with my dog--I'm sure it wasn't easy pulling into 7 rest stops along the NJ turnpike. At the end of the trip, I felt I had made a friend. read more

I have had the opportunity to ride with Boston Chauffeur on two occasions; once to the airport, and another for a night out in Boston on New Years Eve. Both experiences were exceptional. The drivers are excellent - on time pick up, a smooth ride, and they knew exactly where they were going. On New Years, we were early for our reservations, so the driver took us to Starbucks so that we could get a coffee before heading out for the night. Incredibly professional as well - exactly what you would expect from this type of service. The cars are beautiful - brand new Mercedes sedans, and I know they have larger SUV's as well. I called Boston Chauffeur a little less than a month before my daughter's Covid micro wedding. Thane Tinkham could not have been more helpful in figuring out how to get us the transport we needed. He quoted prices that were in line with other vendors, and had the vehicles we needed. Boston Chauffeur was great at getting quotes out, in writing, and in following up on every detail of the trip and timing. This was particularly helpful to me because we were planning some of these things "on the fly" and Thane was more than patient as we worked out the timing and plan. We were a little disappointed not to get the exact van for our main transport that we had discussed - we got a "party" van instead of a straight forward 13 passenger transport (we were transporting parents, grandparents, a pregnant sister-in-law, and didn't need the bar / lights / music system). Still, everyone was pretty comfortable, and two of our original party used their own car after all, so it was roomy enough for all. The drivers, as promised, were 15 minutes early for each pick up, and right on-call at the end of the night when we were ready to go home. The drivers knew the best, least traffic-ed route (a route to the restaurant that we didn't even recognize! We'll use it again!). They were professional, friendly, and helpful and made the night relaxing and special. For reference, we needed a 13 passenger van that made two pick-ups in the same city, drove to the ceremony site and waited, then drove to a restaurant about 20-30 minutes away and waited, then drove the main party back to the original two stops. A second limo came to the restaurant and drove the bride and groom to their hotel about 20 minutes away. I would highly recommend Boston Chauffeur for a wedding or other event! read more

I've been using Boston Chauffeur for many years. They are the only way I go to the airport, either for business trips or personal trips. I started using them when I got fed up with the unreliability and lack of cleanliness of the local cab company that I had been using. In contrast, the Boston Chauffeur drivers show up 15 minutes early for the pick-up, every single time. They text me from the time they start their journey to pick me up and throughout the process until they arrive. That gives me total peace of mind. The cars are high quality and clean, unlike whatever random ride you can get with either a cab or a ride share service. The drivers are professional, so if there are traffic problems they know what to do so that I still make my flight with time to spare. So, although they cost more than a ride share or cab, they are still an exceptional value. read more

I was picked up at Logan International Airport by Roger from Boston Chauffeur. What is usually a 2 hour trip to the city of Amherst, took Roger about an hour and 15 minutes! He knew all of the shortcuts and was a very skilled driver. Roger had the greatest stories to tell & kept me entertained throughout the trip. When we got to my hotel, Roger made sure he didn't leave until he knew I was safely checked in! I was so impressed with him that I requested him again 5 days later when I left New England, this time through Bradley Airport in Hartford, CT. Roger walked me into the airport and again made sure I was safely checked in for my flight. I highly recommend Boston Chauffeur -- especially Roger! Hired limo for my godmother who was arriving at Logan airport. Booking was very easy and let compang know that my GM would need assistance. Company told me they understsand and they would take good care of her. I wanted greeter to meet my 84 year old gm as she approached lugguage and they offered this service (additional charge but well worth it). they retrieved her bags and took them to E class Mercedes. Everything went very well. GM told me driver was great and she really enjoyed his conversation on way to my mother's house.Driver took luggage into house, perfect. Doesn't even deserve the one star. On 4/28/14 I spoke with Scott inquiring about transportation from Danvers to Boston and back and was quoted "$165" for an 8 person limo. The person on the phone did not distinguish that this was one way or that this would be two seperate reservations. Impressed with the customer service my husband has had using them twice for business trips to/from the airport, and my interaction with Boston Chauffuer on 4/28/14, I called on 5/8/14 looking to set up transportation to/from Logan. I was quoted $246 roundtrip, at which time I questioned why it would be MORE for two people to/from Logan than an 8 passenger limo to/from Faneuiul Hall, both trips leaving from Danvers. At that time, the woman I was speaking with transferred me back to the original person I spoke with, Scott, who told me that the $165 was for each way. I explained to him that he did not disclose to me at the time of booking the limo, he simply stated "$165". From there, I was transffered to the manager, Daniel. Daniel informed me that Scott had actually made an error and that this company typically only does limo tranfers to/from the airport, not Fanieul Hall, but that they would honor the $165 each way. I explained to Daniel that I was NOT informed the $165 was each way. I asked him if he could offfer me any sort of discount so this was not explained to me, and also since I am looking to book an additional reservation for another date. He said he could not do that, and that he had reviewed the audio from my original phone conversation and that Scott did specify the $165 was each way, and that he would email me the audio from the phone call on 4/28/14. I received the audio and it confirmed that Scott said, "it will be $165". Did not specify one way. I called Daniel back and informed of this, at which time he said he was already doing me a favor (since his employee made a mistake, he would honor the limo tranfer to/from Faneiul Hall even tho they dont typically do this). Again, I reiterated that this is not what I had been quoted, and offerd for Daniel and I to listen to the audio together. I never once said I would not pay $165/way. Daniel stated that he did not think we could work together and suggested I find another company to do business with and proceeded to cancel my reservation. read more

I've used this service a lot over the past year or two, for family pick ups, airport runs, social events and other needs. Booking is quick and professional. The cars are immaculate. Although all of the drivers are excellent, reliable and punctual, three stand out over the others: Tom, Roger and Lloyd. I always ask for them. Today they went over and above. They are swindlers. We used them for our group in Boston. For 3 hours dinner service they charge us 6 hours. They say their policies not door to door but garage to garage. I checked that their garage is 30 minutes from Boston, but in anyway they charge all that hours.... I think twice to work with them. They are really swindlers. read more

We use Boston Chauffeur a great deal and are always pleased with the service. The cars are brand new and top of the line and the drivers are fantastic, friendly and know how to get around. We had some family visiting over the weekend from out of town and at the last minute decided that we wanted to go out for dinner and dancing in Boston but did not want to risk driving so we called to see that in the off chance they might have a limo available that night (it was this past Sunday.) The reservations person was very friendly and found us a limo and driver. We had a great night. Unfortunately my experience was a horrible start to my trip in Boston. We tried to book a surprise limo ride from the airport to downtown Boston for my mom who was running in the Boston Marathon. Due to major miscommunication by the company, they turned the limo back and instead I took a $364 car ride (no limo mind you) for 15 minutes. There was no understanding by the owner of the miscommunication and the surprise for my mom was quickly squashed and instead left me in a horrible mood entering the great city. I recommend finding a different limo company than Boston Chauffeur. read more
