My food was two and a half hours late. It was also cold. Had dinner without the soda. Very disappointed with Grub Hub on this one.

The customer service was good by there were bones in my fried fish and I choked. Besides the safety hazard, the food taste good.

They have long community tables as well as the most cozy tucked away booth for a group as well as rooftop seating. This is really great space for groups or even just you and a friend. Or, even if you want to go grab a bite and a beer after work there's a long bar you can sit at, too. The vibe is very laid-back, but also trendy which I love and the food is phenomenal. Last night I got the double burger and the bun was perfectly buttered and toasted, and the two patties with the cheese was super juicy. It does have a black pepper aïoli on it, which the pepper flavoring is definitely prominent, but it was still very good. I really love the fact that they do Fresh house cut french fries. It's really about the details! They are very known for their corn dog, just trust me, it's super fun. But everything I've ordered is always very good, they used to have the best lamb burger in town and I still dream about it! I also really appreciate that they have an extensive list of drink options from homemade unique cocktails to beer to wine and nonalcoholic beers and mocktails. There is something for everyone. They also have a lot of specials during the week as well as other activities like trivia on Wednesday nights. Their location will be moving in the beginning of 2025 but go check this place out!

We shared the Philly and fries and the street corn thing and I was so sad that I agreed to share. Especially that street corn thing. It was SO GOOD! The bun on the Philly is what made it (as is usually the case!) the fries are like the kind you get at the ballpark- and they came out so hot! Room temperature ketchup is perfect on these but there's other sauces available. They have boba tea and it made the restaurant have the most wonderful smell (even though I don't even like boba tea!) I will definitely be back, but I'm tentatively claiming this to be a GEM. Do not share food with your partner, go ahead and get your own!!

The fruit drinks/punches were less sweet than we are accustomed to. Today, I went with my youngest daughter. She ordered the Cafe Cloud Boba. She enjoyed it. She also had the 6 piece Jamaican Jerk wings combo with Cajun Ranch Cheese fries. She liked it. I ordered the 10 piece wing combo with Cajun Ranch Cheese fries. We both like how they layer the ranch and cheese on the fries. It is not just on the top. I ordered the dry lemon pepper and the wet Jamaican Jerk. They were out of wet Jamaican Jerk. I then substituted it for dry Jamaican Jerk. I wish they both had a little more seasoning on them. Other than that they were good. Friendly customer service. Good ambiance. Clean bathroom. I like that they have a reward program and that they are open on Sunday. They are now my 1B wing spot. My 1A wing spot (J Wings Bessemer is closed on Sunday).

I have not tried any other location in years - bc this place is always such a treat . I have tried some of the newer $$$$ seafood restaurants( bc my son wanted to go ) but I have always left disappointed. I've been eating here at least 30 years - I like the casual ambiance & the oysters are to die for . We were seated promptly handed menus and about 30 seconds later approached by the waitress for drink orders. We asked for a drink menu as there was nothing to advertise what drinks they were serving. She returned with 1 drink menu for all 3 of us and stood there waiting until we decided. We asked for some time so she left and returned about 2 mins later. We ordered drinks and she returned 2 mins later to take our food order. We ordered appetizers, salad and main courses. The drinks came quickly, the salads came right after and then about 3 mins later, the appetizers came out. 3 mins after that, the main courses arrived so we had plates stacked everywhere on the table and quickly tried to finish our salads and appetizers before the main dish got cold. The waitress never returned to the table until she brought the bill. The plates were all cleared by someone else. We saw her leave a bill at the table next to us and wait until they checked it over and figured out a payment method, so when she arrived at our table we just handed her a credit card. The food was average but the overall experience was terrible. I realize she was probably new and this may have been her first night but some training would go a long way! For $180 dinner, we expected a lot more.

I highly recommend the beef shawarma bowl. The meat is beautifully seasoned, the rice is aromatic, and the veggies on top blend perfectly. The portion size is generous. You can also get a shawarma wrap instead of a bowl, and what I love about the wraps here is that they use saji bread instead of pita bread. The saji is thinner and makes a perfect vehicle to carry the savory meat and veggies. The fries were tasty by themselves, so I'm definitely going to try the loaded fries next time. The hummus was good as well. But the star among the appetizers was the falafel, served as photogenic little donuts. They were slightly bland by themselves, but served with a tangy dipping sauce that made them much better. The Egyptian rice pudding was delicious, with a crunchy pistachio topping that elevated an otherwise simple dessert. As with most places in Five Points, parking is limited. But the parking situation is a minor inconvenience that is absolutely worth the trouble to dine here.

My husband ordered the Reuben made with swordfish. I had a bite of it and it was also very good. We actually saved room for dessert and tried the fried peach pie. I would describe it as a really good peach cobbler empanada. It was served with a small scoop of sour cream vanilla sorbet. Field pea and rice salad was tasty, but not anything special. The mint chocolate sundae was too sweet for me. Overall, a great meal and experience. I'd come back to get the double with cheese again or try the swordfish reuben.
