Fabulous service and absolutely delicious food with plentiful portions. I have bought and delivered to numerous friends and family members during crises, and they all loved it and have become big fans and regular customers. The employees here work SO very hard. I am utterly amazed at how they handle so many orders at one time! The last time I was there, 18 orders were taken by one cashier during the short time it too for my food to be prepared! My sister and I treat ourselves to Bryant's Shrimp & Co tilapia dinner as often as we can (I try to limit my fried food intake). The filets are large and cooked to perfection; so tender and moist. The breading is not overbearing, and compliments the fish. It comes with fries, coleslaw, and their famous, delicious hush puppies. And don't forget the tartare sauce; it's delicious as well. They survived Covid by wait staff taking orders since they lack a drive thru window. It must've worked since they still have it. The dining room was mine alone! As soon as I sat my table was stocked with Tartar, Cocktail sauce, ketchup, honey butter, sweet whipped butter and Hushpuppies! I missed that type of condiments on my table. I felt like a stuffed king after dinner. The drive Thru is a nice touch. But can't compare to having freshly prepared Buttered Shrimp, Crab Claws and Fries put before you! Enough said! I have previously been a customer here once before, and I had written a review then. I tried this again today in hopes my review would change....it did! I am pleasantly surprised. I was disappointed when Captain D's burnt down, so I am happy I have a new seafood place. The portions were HUGE, and more than enough. One plate (I had the shrimp and fish for $13.99) can definitely satisfy 2 people. Talk about popcorn for a movie??? Why not popcorn shrimp, because it's that much! The cocktail sauce tastes homemade, however it's a bit too tangy for me. The tartar sauce was nice. The fish was perfect pull apart, a bit buttery, but delicious. The hush puppies are delish and plentiful, bite sized. The only thing I would have possibly liked different is a side of lemons perhaps. I just left this restaurant they refused to serve me. I was told they were closed but people were eating on the inside. The staff were very rude to me by looking out the window and coming to the door laughing and saying no we close.personally it was a black thing because the people on the inside where white ! Actually, the food is legendary (locally) as the owner once ran long time (35yrs) established Bryant's Seafood World. He's brought back his same great recipes to a new location. This was my second time eating here and this time I brought my wife. She had the popcorn shrimp and I had the butterfly shrimp. Both meals were delicious. We both had great portions. Tons of fries and hush puppies. The eating space is crowded, so, if your claustrophobic you may want to get your order to go. Staff is always pleasant and the place is clean. read more

I hate to do a bad review, especially after a previous great review but this visit has changed my view of this place. For starters I called in my order due to previous long wait times and when I arrived on the inside the restaurant was filthy in the back were the food is cooked! I mean food all over the floor. I started to just walk out but I gave them the the benefit of the doubt and waited for my food. I waited an additional 30 minutes for my to go order even after calling it in 30 minutes prior to arriving, so the wait times are still long! They have also increased the prices of all the menu items. The extra tartar sauce I ordered was definitely not worth $2! I expected the container to be full and it was only half full. Also they were very skimpy on the hush puppies this time and when I asked they said this is the portion that comes with the meal and you would have to pay for an extra box of them. Overall the food was still good but the way the inside, in the back were they are cooking the food looked disgusting!! read more

I enjoy eating there, but the menu prices are a bit pricey for the Hueytown area. Since this is an offshoot of the old Bryant's Seafood, I was hopeing that they would have the Hamburger Steak they were once famous for, along with the seafood. Each time I eat there, I always have the House Shrimp, since it's plentiful. The Cole Slaw is sweet and tasty. I would love for them to be open on Sundays for after church dinner, but alas, they aren't. The servers are friendly and attentive, as they should be. If they continue to serve hot, tasty food, I'll reserve my option to give them a 5th. star for another time. read more
