I'm honestly not someone who usually writes reviews, but my experience with Marisa has been so…read moreimpactful that I felt like I had to share. I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. I've seen such drastic improvements that I genuinely feel like I have a new baseline. I feel so much more in control of my anxiety now and honestly like a completely different person than I was just a few months ago. It's been truly life changing. I honestly wish I could see her weekly. The closest way I can describe how you feel leaving a session is like you just had a massage; you're so relaxed, grounded, and at ease. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.

Truly the best. One of a kind. I am so glad to have found Healing Point Therapeutic. I highly…read morerecommend the hypnoaccupuncture and also the intuitive readings. Top notch. Marisa is wonderful in all ways. The office and treatment rooms are also healing.

Some of the MHCs clearly don't want to be there and are not qualified. Secondly the women who takes blood is rude, unsanitary and unprofessional. Every time she would hurt you she would say in a mocking tone "I'm sorry". My NP was blunt and patronizing. Many times I was dismissed or believed to be a liar because of my disorder. However in residential I thrived. The DBT and CBT was very good therapy. I loved the passes and privileges. The MHCs and Nurses are well trained and smart. My clinician listened and helped me very well. So in all inpatient was below the bar and residential was above. Note: The clinicians, dieticians and most nurse/nps were very good at what they did. I enjoyed the education I got from my dietician and the understanding from my clinician. Most of the nurses were very kind and patient.

I should never have been in the hospital because I was never homicidal or suicidal but they still determined I needed to be in there long enough to break me. They tied me to a bed here and flipped the light switch on and off knowing that I have a seizure disorder. It was the head charge nurse that did it. I'll never forget it. It was literal torture. If you have a relative here, get them out. If you sent them here, shame on you.

The only reason I came here was I was following Doctor Robinson, who was a wonderful therapist and passed away. I stayed because they asked me to anyway, what a nightmare. I got Dr. Marcus who used to work at Carney Hospital. Allegedly he was let go from that place due to something I won't say, but it makes sense why all my prescriptions were confused and called in wrong each and every time. What I'd have to do is go in person because nobody backed him up and put somebody in place to help his patients. I went 2 full days without my medication, and for those who know, our medication needs to be taken, or we could end up in the hospital! Needless to say, it was all my fault not theirs. They accuse me of taking too many? Really? I don't take too many and I did have a reason that's why they were maybe gone, but nobody of her sat down with me and talk to me about my life or what was going on... I would've let them know why but talk to Marcus never knew me... He didn't know where I worked, he didn't know my name, he could care less he was in order taker, and we are the ones who get screwed in the end because we look like junkies if you go to this place you've been warned.

I called multiple times and emailed and never got a response. Finally my daughter was pared with someone and she would cancel often and frequently sometimes same day. She was very unprofessional. Then her schedule was changing and it was not going to work with her school schedule so we were reassigned. I was assured weekly virtual appointments. All I knew is that she was nice. A few weeks later we did an intake appointment. She could only do biweekly and at the end of the intake she told us she was going on maternity leave in two months. Why was I not informed that my child was being set up with someone who could only meet with her four to five times and then go out? We were told there would be someone to meet with during the leave or we could go somewhere else. I chose a temporary clinician. A month and a half later we were told there were no providers that had space for adolescents. So we decided to wait. She went on leave Dec. 2025. In March my daughter had some very concerning behaviors. So I contacted Dana and they said end of March beginning of April. I asked them if they were sure because my daughter really needed to see someone. The person on the phone laughed at me, called me honey and said that is the information they had. I tried calling later and asked to speak to the manager, they said they would send an email and I would get a call back. I never did. I called back and got someone else and they said that therapist would not be back till June. I asked to speak to the manager and once again was assured an email would be sent and I would get a call back. In the interim I found someone else for my child. But I was upset on how the reassignment was handled and how the people who answer the phone behave. None of them identify themselves by name. They are very inappropriate especially speaking about your concerns regarding your child. I was not taken seriously. It took two weeks, multiple phone calls, emails, portal messages to finally get to speak to the manger. She of course apologized but also use the excuse of being short staffed. Then they should not be caring for kids. This company gaslights and hides behind a smoke screen of bs. They do not care about anything except making money off of you and your suffering. It is a disgrace to medicine.
