Mid pizza, the waitress was great, better to go to Pizza Hut. Just not that flavorful.

Mid day, mid week the ladies are amazing. They pay attention to the food coming out of the kitchen. Today, early on a Sunday afternoon when my fries were cold, bartender actually said, ' yup they don't hold their heat'. She knew they were old, cold and limpy but still served them. She did offer to replace but when you are 1/2 done the rest of your meal what's the point. The kicker is, she didn't take the upgrade charge off the bill. read more

We walked into Boston Pizza in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday when the place was pretty empty, which I personally prefer. I ordered the individual-sized Boston Royal pizza sans shrimp and ham, while my boyfriend ordered the Big Dipper Sandwich. We were both relatively happy with our choices. My pizza reminded me of something I'd order from Pizza Hut (which I like), but my boyfriend took a pass on that when I offered to share. Whatevsss, more for me hombre! We were seated in a booth near a television, and honestly, when you're in a place by yourself, you can make a game out of anything. We entertained ourselves with headline news and made some nice chit chat with our waiter. The air conditioning was definitely working, so on dem humid days in good ol' Brockville, one can definitely take refuge in here. :) Overall, this place has an amicable wait staff and a decent menu of items to choose from, but what sealed the deal for me was dessert. We ordered the Chocolate Explosion, which is literally described as a "creamy chocolate mousse with chunks of cheesecake, caramel, toffee, pecans and almonds on a chocolate crust." Enough said! A friend and I tried this location and we literally left it was so bad. From the service being horrible to the chef not being able to cook pasta or flat bread. We both got starter salads and the lettuce was brown and wilted. Our bowtie pasta was so over cooked we couldn't even pick it up without it falling apart. Overall, the experience was pretty terrible which took me by surprise because I love the Boston Pizza in Barrhaven. read more

Typical fast food restaurant so we had low expectations. They forgot half of our son's order and my pizza was not cooked. They brought the balance of our son's food fairly quickly (once we told them). They also quickly worked to satisfy me with my pizza. At first the manager wouldn't honor a $25 gift card because he said they couldn't swipe it. I had verified on website that it was valid. I was not impressed. However our sever Kiran (sp?) made sure the problem got solved even though we could tell it wasn't easy. In the end the manager made it work and apologized. Big props to Kiran!! read more

A bunch of us went to Boston Pizza after the races in Brockville Ontario all the food had an earthy flavor which was Nasty. Literally all the food ordered tasted the same weather if it was a burger, nachos or whatever..it all tasted exactly the same. A few of the crew actually got sick that night even though none of us actually were able to finish our meals. The service was slow, the food was horrible.I have never looked at another Boston Pizza ever again..Forgot to mention..it all smelled the same aswell which itself is off for nachos to smell the same as the burgers etc.. read more

Love their tortilla platter, but will never ever order another pizza there. I paid $22 for a medium pizza with just pepperoni, bacon and cheese. Ridiculous! They are known here for inflated prices, so be warned! Carbonated beverages are also pricey. They also gave away our seating (which we stood and waited for) in the main room and I ended up sitting in the bar room with my kids. Didn't get a discount or free drinks or anything else as apology. Food was mediocre, but apparently the older male manager there doesn't know the difference between rare and well done on a steak or the difference between mashed potatoes and fries or the difference between give me what I ordered and give me a refund. I can only give this Boston Pizza a 1 star rating. It is not about the food. Their ribs are phenomenal with the Jack Daniels sauce. My issue is the server we had. There were three of us and we all ordered the exact same thing. Full rack of ribs with Jd sauce, Alfredo spaghetti and a side of ceasar salad. We also ordered water and an appetizer of spinach dip. When we asked if we could get some extra bread for the dip, our waitress was very curt and said no, we did not mind paying more, but she said she could get some chips for us, again, no smile or anything. We agreed. The water came after 10 minutes, and did we ever need it because it was a very hot, muggy day. After about another 10 minutes we got the dip. It was good, but she still did not bring any cutlery or napkins, the only thing on our table was empty water glasses and the appetizer. She passed by many times without looking at us or asking if we could use a refill. We finally flagged her down and asked if we could get some more water and cutlery and napkins. Her whole attitude was anti customer. Another server finally came out with 2 plates of our order. One was right, the other was ribs, pasta and mashed potato. We told them that one was wrong so they took it back to fix. 1 plate on the table. After about 7 minutes later, a different server came out with another 2 plates. One was right and the other was missing the side salad. We mention it and the new server said he would go get a salad and bring it right out. Over all the ribs were good, but the temp was off. I guess they were sitting in the back waiting to be picked up, so not very hot, mildly warm. It seems that they scrapped off the potato and threw the ceasar salad in its place but they failed to remove all of the mashed potato because as I was eating the salad there were blobs of mashed potato under it. I was going to mention this to the guy who went to get the salad to complete my sons order, but he never came back. So, although the ribs tasted fantastic, they were kind of coldish warm, missing salad, potatoes hidden under salad that should not have been there, and a server, who said she was our server but was more of a disappearing act. I like it when the person who says they are your server sees the meal through from start to finish and a little in between, and maybe a smile once in a while. Still love Boston Pizza, but I will travel to a different location because this one does not have proper customer service. Buy the way, we did speak to the manager and he said we should have done more to get our order corrected. He took 25% off the bill which was very generous but I did not think I had to work so hard just to pay to be fed a meal .
