For our chosen dishes, the overall vibe was contemporary Californian, which is a pretty unusual vibe to walk into without a reservation, and did I mention it's within a national park? By comparison on the USA side, Many Glacier Hotel's restaurant is perfectly fine and quite scenic but it doesn't hold a candle to this place, whose food I'd actually be willing to eat again in a regular city with competition. We ordered some ales, bison lasagna, hamburger, and tiramisu. Bison lasagna was very delicious, and hamburger was one of the best I had in a long time. Kilmore was the only place that was faster, but that is a different level of experience. I oddly caught attitude from both the most expensive and least expensive restaurants, and I'm not a picky customer. Finally, costs. I wouldn't call anything in Waterton reasonably priced, but Zum's was a price performer. Definitely try it when you are in town.
