This store is absolutely horrible! Filthy! Mice running by customers feet! Possibly rats too! Empty candy wrappers on the bottom shelf, easy access for the disease carrying rodents! The staff are very rude! I was told to "Hurry Up" by a male cashier because he was eating his dinner! OMG!!!! Also, another male cashier always says the lottery machine is broken when it is definitely not!!!!!! Please evict the store owner and rent it out to someone who is clean and respectful! There are way too many smoke shops in the area! A far cry from the old Billy Baker's store that it was many years ago! The good old days in Southie when people were treated with RESPECT!!!!! They sell the glass pipes and other junk to smoke illegal substances in!! It would be great to have a nice coffee shop or convenient store instead of this nasty smoke shop! read more

The shop keeper is a friendly guy, but you need to go in knowing what you want, because he doesn't speak much English so anticipate a lot of pointing. I first came looking for coils for my pretty standard kangertech but they didn't carry it apparently. I think the owner should train his staff before putting them on the front lines. I had to go through 10 boxes searching for my coil because the shop keeper didn't know about coils or what in the world I was asking for. He had to take a photo of my kangertech and send it to the owner, who didn't respond apparently; I left my phone number and asked for a call back confirmation but never got a call. However, after my second visit for just juice, something I didn't think would be lost in translation, I'm leaving four stars for two reasons. One, the juices were $11 (not a bad deal) and two: sheer pity. The shop keeper tried his best with the limited training he received, and was attentively showing me various flavors to choose from. Shitty imported glass from factories China. Mostly knock-offs. Anyone who knows anything about glass can spot a fake a mile away. DON'T BE FOOLED. ***only buy vaporizers from Authorized Dealers. Doing a quick google search or contacting the manufacturer will give you the info you need to make a safe purchase. Read the reviews at the bottom of the page that Yelp "doesn't recommend." That's where you'll find all the reviews that say "I spent $300 on a vape and it didn't work. Contacted the manufacturer who verified that it was a fake--it even has a fake scratched-off serial number. The store refused to refund me my money and gave me some bullshit story." Oh and the best parts are the replies to reviews from the PR manager the store must have had to hire because their customer service, knock-off vapes and shitty glass leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouths. If they sold good, authentic, well-made products then they would have to do a lot less work and the products would speak for themselves. The service was terribly unprofessional. I have never been in a place were they charge so much for counterfeit products out of the box (I found out after getting home). I asked for a recite after the sale ended (to place it in my review) and I was told no its all final sale and that the credit card machine was down, but the register was fully functional.. Found Boston Smoke Shop on Newbury St a few months ago and they have become my go to for anything vape related. I never thing twice about where to go. I always get the highest level of service. Jeff and Mark are the ones to go to they know vaping! Went to the South Boston store which I just found out was there and Jeff was now working at this store. He helped me upgrade my tank and I left vaping happy. Happy to find a Boston Smoke Shop that is closer to me and has one of my favorite employees working there. read more

Definitely pleased with the customer service I received. They have a great selection of juices and the man that helped me was very patient to assist me to find a flavor. I am new to vape and I'm still in the trying stage each time I need a new juice. I was a little disappointed that I read the juices were $11 in another person's review of the same place. The 15ml bottle I purchased was $12.99 and some of the larger bottles were $22. I asked about coils($3.99each or buy more and save more) and an extra tank($39.99) for my kangertech to box nano and I was so pleased with the prices(of course I can order for less online but there's definitely a price for convenience and immediate receipt of product) I will be back to make additional purchases! Of course I wish the juices were $11 as I had thought but their price is about the same as several places I've visited already. My review and 4 stars definitely speaks for the service. Thre's a lot to be said for patient sales associates that don't make you feel as though you're putting them about by shopping! So, thank you! You've gained a regular patron in me! read more
