So I just went to this store to buy a Nova 5 pod. Normal MSRP cost for this Vape pen is about 21.99. I know a lot of vap shops sell this pen for around 35$ to 40$. Not this shop, this lady charged me 63$ for a Nova 5 vape pen. Which is 3 times the normal msrp of a product. Not only is this shop ripping people off, they are straight robbing and price gauging people. I will never go to this shop again. They wont last long charging these insane prices!!! read more

Their prices are obscene: for example, a little $30 bubbler will be marked at $100, and then they'll tell you that they'll give it to you for $70 because they understand you're a student/veteran/poor person. They won't return or exchange items, even if unused and still in packing the store. And if you get ripped off by them and very tactfully ask the manager whether they'd like to make it right, he'll just shrug and say you should have checked everything before you came in to shop! Some people who work there are nice and try to help, but the management has no ethics at all. Do NOT go there unless you have absolutely no alternative, and if you must shop there, make sure to check prices and indications of genuine pieces vs. fakes. read more

A friend of mine told me about this new smoke shop opening (he had nothing positive to say about it) but as it's on my way home from work I decided to stop by. I've been going to smoke shops for many years, my (high school) ex-boyfriend's parents even owned a smoke shop so needless to say I know quality. What a terrible selection! They don't carry any local artists. The glass they have are cheap knockoffs shipped in from other countries. The jewelry they have is the crap you find at tourist shops around Hampton Beach. They do have belly button rings with marijuana leaves! - How fantastically TRASHY. (Ladies & Gents, I hope you're not really into that sort of thing) To top it all off the guy working decided to follow me (very closely) around the entire store. Not sure if he thought I was going to be shop lifting or if he was just a creep but either way it was awkward and weird. So, I never write reviews but I feel like this store and the people who work and own Blue Moon are amazing. The prices are fair, the staff is amazingly helpful, kind, respectful, and most importantly have common sense. I purchased a Da Vinci IQ here last week. Great product. But I had a charging issue and thought I had a faulty product. I went back to the store, the woman behind the counter was kind and helped me troubleshoot the vape. Turned out the battery I received with the vape was defective so they just gave me a replacement free of charge. That just doesn't happen in most stores for any reason. Outstanding service and quality advice about all of their products. I ended up purchasing a few more items since I was there and I plan to go to only Blue Moon for all my future purchases. When I walked in, the salesman, Mohammad (?, name on the receipt), greeted me, made sure I knew he was there to help, and let me check out the cases of stock. The Newest, and best smoke shop in Boston. Walked in there, and saw things I never seen before. There, they have the best collection of hookahs, pipes, and other devices, I never seen before. Definitely, was impressed. If anyone goes there, checkout the back room. Hands down the best displays of water pipes. This is not to mention they are customer service friendly, I spent an hour there just learning about what they have. Beside getting an amazing price, my girlfriend was able to get body jewelry there. I really don't understand the bad reviews. I have been in the shop twice now. The first time I was just picking up some papers. I haven't smoked in quite a while so I asked about papers other than Zig-Zag, and they were very helpful and I wound up window shopping and chatting up the nice folks behind the counter. Checked out a few items for later and went on my merry way. Stopped by on my way home tonight to buy a small pipe I had seen on my last visit and once again had great service. I knew the pipe didn't come with screens, so I asked for a small pack of those as well, which the fellow behind the counter threw in with the purchase. Not a big deal maybe, but it's little things like that which will keep me coming back. So before I say anything about my experience at Blue Moon, I have to point out that the first review here was clearly written by someone who works there. I have seen all the things they sell there, and after talking to the "knowledgeable staff", I can safely say they have no idea whats going on. I asked what size accessories one of the pieces took, and he looked at me like I had 5 heads. I just said never mind. On top of that, all the bongs I saw were off brands I'd never heard of. The small pipes are cheap, but when you look at them up close they definitely look sloppy and poorly made. I also asked if they carry local artists, and they said no. There was also this guy with slicked back hair and obnoxious yellow, "420" T-shirt that kept following me step-for-step down the case and not talking to me like I was trying to steal something. Fantastic head shop! I was in the market for my first oil rig and decided to check out Sugar Daddy's. It was alright, but nothing in their selection jumped out to me. As I was walking home, I noticed Blue Moon and decided to stop in. Immediately upon entering, I was greeted by the owner and a friendly employee. After browsing their impressive glass selection for a few minutes, the employee talked to me about what I was looking for and helped me narrow down my choice. I ended up going with a Prescribed Glass rig (made in California). They understood I was a student and sold me the rig, a titanium nail, torch, butane, and titanium dabber for $200. I'm surprised to see a lot of comments about them only having imported glass. They had one section of cheap imported glass, but the rest was made in the US or a famous brand like RooR. I even saw the owner buy a bunch of locally-blown pieces from a Boston-based glass artist while I was there. read more

I was originally making my way to Sugar Daddies (which is just upstairs) when I noticed this store and decided to pop in. I was needing to replace my daily driver and didn't want to spend too much, but knew exactly what I wanted and what I was keeping my eyes out for. Blue Moon definitely delivered and kept my eyes open the entire time! The selection is huge and I was like a kid in a candy shop! The guys there are great, funny and love talking about the different options that could suit your needs. I collect glass and boy was I tempted on many different awesome pieces that they have. The selection there is awesome -- from inexpensive all the way up to the heady/artsy pieces! Regardless of what you are looking for, you will find it and be able to fit your style with your budget! I got a sweet inline recycler for half of what I had been looking at online and before I could even begin the wheeling/dealing about the price they had already discounted it and thrown some goodies into the mix! I will definitely be returning when my glass "peace" fund has more room in it! read more

I've been going to Sugar Daddy's for about a year and I love the place. I've bought many many cigars, a hookah and a water pipe from them. The guys in there are very nice and very helpful. But a few weeks ago (I think) some dude opened up blue moon and now that's the only place I hit. The employees are helpful and considerate, but it's true, they aren't pros. They have a massive selection of everything you could think of. I'll say right now that I can't differentiate between good glass and bad glass, but I don't really think that matters. Blue moon is exactly what this area needs. All the broke college students should and will come down there to get glass that isn't outrageously expensive. I don't need the benz of bongs, as long as I've got something I'm having a good day. Don't shop there if you need the best stuff ever, but if you're not willing to dump a pay check into a pipe the size of your hand, check out blue moon. read more
