I found this location quite by accident. I was coming home from test driving cars and turned down the wrong road and noticed a cute coffee store. It had a drive thru so... zip zip... i went right that way. Ordering was easy. Barista at window cheerful. Gave me my java and off I went. Took a sip and went yum. I don't necessarily think everyone working here understands complicated coffee (not that I do, but I feel they can be very clueless) but lucky for me- I order just black coffee. I like the inside, feels cozy and there is ample seating. The bathrooms are clean. There is a few seats for guest who want to sit outside. But what I like best is the coffee is decent and the price is reasonable. At the very least, it's a nice change from Starbucks. read more

Stopped in for a quick cup of coffee and a sandwich. No sandwiches were being served for an unknown reason. So waited for coffee it was good but took too long. several of us waiting on coffee, while no one seemed really care. The only thing I can say is that we ordered three drinks and they all came out at different times. I'm fact a couple that ordered after us got all their drinks before us. We kept on giving this place more chances but are done. The lattes are cold and bitter (supposed to be hot) they are out of basic things like vanilla syrup (regular and sugar free). The final straw was when we ordered a breakfast sandwich on a bagel and after paying they said it could only be on ciabatta. I offered to buy the bagel but they said they can't to that. It is such a shame because the location is so good. The staff is ok and the ambience is fantastic. I am hoping another small mom and pop comes in and replaces them. Great coffee shop in the Dublin area! I found this little shop by chance as I get my haircut next door. They have great drip coffee and espresso, and you can even pick up your favorite cigar for later that night (yes, I'm serious! - they have a humidor in the shop). I love everything about this spot! The place is cutely decorated with posh furniture and plants, they have garage door type windows that open up allowing for fresh enter to sweep through the shop. Great outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade and they even have a drive thru. The staff is always so friendly and it's just all around good vibes. I didn't want to write this review but because they are such a hit or miss place I decided the public deserves to know. I'm local so either my partner or I drive to Boston Stokers every other day. I get the same thing, iced matcha latte with lavender. When they first opened they were pretty good. Of course they had some details to iron out and were slow moving in the drive thru but nothing to write a bad review over. The past month though everything has changed. They seem to always be understaffed. The teenagers they hire either just don't care or aren't trained well. Last week they ran out of matcha and didn't have it for over a week. That's a lot of business that went elsewhere. This week they don't have lavender. Their supply chain seems to be all over the place. What made me write this review is the girl (whom I've never seen before) was working the drive thru and asked me if I'd like to add a tip...a tip for what? A tip for the fact that you don't carry lavender? A tip for doing your job? Last week I tipped her co worker $5 because he went above and beyond for me. I ordered a matcha with vanilla and once I finally get it, it takes like cookie dough? Or a sugar cookie? It's nasty. I almost vomited. I have no idea what syrup she put in there but that was absolutely not vanilla. $7 for a drink that's going down the drain. It's such a shame because their matcha with lavender is the best drink in the area but they've been going downhill for some time now and I can't support a business like this. read more

I want to give them more chances (and because they are pretty much the only real coffee shop in the north part of Dublin, I probably will...just because it's 4 minutes from my house). But I have been there 3 times, and there have been problems EVERY. TIME. They are employing people who are not well trained at all and who also seem to know nothing about coffee. My first visit via the drive thru was on a Sunday afternoon. One car in front of me and (when I looked inside the store) almost no customers inside either. It still took more than 10 minutes to get my drink...which tasted suspiciously weak. The second visit was inside and I ordered a dirty chai latte. The poor boy at the register (not blaming him....blaming management who obviously did a poor job with training) had absolutely no clue what that was. I told him what it was and he still had no idea how to ring it up. He had to have two people help him, and eventually the manager helped him out, but my medium beverage was $8.50. What now?!?!?!?! I paid and left. It wasn't great. The third time I came in with my husband and ordered their drink special (figured I'd have better luck with something on their menu with a clear description of all ingredients). After a loooooong wait, I got my drink....and it was clearly a caramel latte - a drink not even remotely what I ordered and $1.50 less than the one I paid for. So I walked up to the counter to tell them this wasn't the right drink. They seemed very confused. They certainly had NO PROBLEM ringing me up for the $6.50 blueberry latte, but now acted like they didn't know what it was. I gestured to the large sign on the wall describing the drink. Then they TOOK MY DRINK BACK. Generally when you mess up an order you'd let the customer keep your mistake and make the right drink. They gave me "a new" drink back a few minutes later, but it was THE SAME CARAMEL LATTE that they threw some blueberries on top of. That's TERRIBLE service. 3 visits. 3 failures. I think I might wait at least a month before giving them one more try. I love their Dayton locations. But this one has a LOT of kinks to work out. They may have hired the wrong person to manage this location. read more

Just moved here. Had high hopes for a non-Starbucks local coffee place. Unfortunately they were a total mess. Older lady came to the window, with a very rude demeanor. Younger lady was kind but seemed confused when I asked for raw sugar in a cold brew. Have literally ordered it this way my whole life and love the gritty texture at the bottom, so that's how I order it. They refused and put simple syrup in it, totally ruined the flavor. Went inside to have them remake it the way I ordered, they said I had to come inside to get raw sugar. Completely unnecessary and the older lady seemed super controlling and unwilling to change her weird coffee superiority views. Never going here again. read more

I ordered an iced americano with a little oatmilk and a sausage breakfast sandwich. Both were excellent. I thought the customer service was wonderful too. They were very kind during my whole ordering process. The atmosphere was perfect and peaceful. There was plenty of seating. I also liked that there was ample amount of parking. read more

I was completely blown away by my experience at Boston Stoker Coffee. It was my first time visiting and I was impressed before I even stepped foot in the building. It was a warm and sunny morning so the employees were able to open up the shop doors to allow fresh air inside and allow patrons to enjoy the outdoors while still being inside, it was truly amazing. I tried the cinnamon pastry and it was absolutely amazing. I also got an iced chocolate mocha and it was delicious. I definitely will be coming back soon, and would highly recommend a stop before participating in activities in the area such as going to the zoo! (That's what I did!!) read more

Super busy on a Saturday morning, unfortunately not enough employees to maintain the busy crowd. Ordered through the drivethru and was immediately told they were slammed and it was going to take awhile to get our order. I appreciate a heads up but it was more of them saying dont order opposed to giving us the option to wait. We ordered 3 drinks and attempted to order breakfast sandwiches but she immediately started shaking her head and said theres 12 sandwiches ahead of us and not to order a sandwich so we didn't. After ordering and pulling up we were told they didn't have the strawberry smoothies we ordered so needed to order different kind. Eventually we get our drinks and they were mediocre. 2 smoothies & a blended caramel coffee maybe a 4-5/10 for taste. Wouldn't return - hope they find more employees to maintain the crowd! read more

But I've been there 4 times now and each time it has taken 10-15 minutes from time of ordering to get my drink. My husband and I love the Grogg lattes but the service/staff is shockingly clueless. We repeated our non-complicated orders 7 times (maybe more, no joke) and still weren't sure they got it right. Every time they repeated it back it was wrong. 2 iced oat milk grogg lattes. It was actually comical like we were on a prank TV show. Usually takes a bit longer which is fine, but when we got to the pickup window they STILL didn't understand our order and came out wrong. Absolute awful experience (because of one employee only). The other day I went to try out this new coffee shop that I have been waiting to try with my daughter. When we came in the store it was pretty packed and we had to wait in line for about 6 minutes (again wasn't the issue). When we finally got to the register one of the employees was bumped off but another employee who was older that insisted they go and take orders at drive thru instead. The older lady was very VERY disrespectful whether it was cutting my daughter off mid sentence to ask questions or turn around to demand employees clean up a simple accident involving a glass cup. I was really bummed about my experience with this place. I really liked the coffee and the atmosphere, but the one older employee with glasses was NOT it. read more
