I came in today for a sclerotherapy and paid $400 including $50 consultation for a 30 minute treatment per phone scheduling. I left with a 10 minute treatment only on one leg and was told that my veins weren't big enough for injections. Never heard such from 3 other MD I had worked done in the past. Previous doctors used light and magnifying glasses to carefully visualize and treat my spider veins which are most of the time tiny. This doctor didn't do that. I literally got ripped off for 5-6 injections on my right leg. He said he would also work on a spot on my left leg but didn't. 10 minute job for $350?! If you need to get a treatment done don't come here. I wish he would refund half of the treatment I paid for. It is not fair. If he felt like I didn't have enough veins he "recommend" getting treated for $350 then tell me, I'll walk away and you can keep the $50. Please don't do this to hard working people trying to get help. It's not fair. If you could be so kind to refund me for the half work you provided today, I would greatly appreciate your service. Dr. Habib was not only informative and patient- answering my every question, but he is also a genuinely nice person. His professionalism and easy manner put me at ease as we discussed the treatment. Dr habibi is an amazing talented doctor! I went to him few months ago for a burn on my leg and it was the first center that accomadated me right away! He healed my wound without needing a skin graft! I was emotionally distressed and he put at ease! He has a great personality and very honest doctor that is very rare these days in doctors! I was very impressed by results achieved by Dr Habib after a total of four visits to address a cosmetic vein concern on each calf. Bottom line, one cannot tell that there was ever anything wrong, they are both as good as new. I found Dr Habib to have a friendly bedside manner and he was highly accessible both by phone and email. As a cash customer, pricing was up-front and entirely reasonable. His enthusiasm for this area of treatment came through on each visit and he set good expectations throughout. Awful customer service. Rude staff. And never buy a package from them. They told me my visits were good for a year and then called me after 6 months and told me they were expiring. They rescheduled every appointment I had so that I could not get my treatments on time and everytime I did get to go they had a new esthetician. Regardless don't waste you money here!! read more

I'm a male in my late fifties and had Dr. Habib perform both an Endevenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) as well as a phlebectomy to treat an unsightly vericose vein in my leg over seven months ago. I am extremely happy with the results! I walked out of the office and drove myself home upon completion of the minimally painful procedures. Just a couple weeks after that I returned to the golf course (wearing shorts!) Small scarring gradually became almost unnoticeable a few weeks after that. Dr. Habib is personable, knowledgeable and thorough. He clearly explained the recommended procedures ahead of time so I felt comfortable going in. Was very impressed with Dr Habib. His knowledge and skills are second to none. I have had vein surgery in the past so I knew exactly if something was not right. He explained the process involved very clearly and the expectations of the results. Because the extent of my conditions, I have need multiple treatments and procedures on both my legs. I am nearly at the end and the results are "Night and Day". It is a small office with minimal staff, but what you get in return is close personal attention. Not like other juggernaut offices where no-ones knows your name and have to explain your story fifty times over to get an appointment or get through the enrollment/nurse . His website is easy to use and you can select your own times and days. You also get a great email reminder when your appointment is due, so you never forget. Please read this review! Very unhappy and depressed with the results. After 2 endovenous laser ablation and also a few sclerotherapy on both legs it looks worse than it was before. My legs have bubbles of blood clogged and looks like I have bruises that never goes away. It has been 6 months already and another doctor said it's never going away. I literally can't wear anything but pants because I'm so embarrassed of the way my legs look like and I don't want to explain to people what are all the "bruises". I cried while in DR. Habib's office asking him to do something about it and his answer was "I'm sorry but I can't help you anymore". The treatment was over $11,000 to look worse than before. I left his office devastated and I regret so much going to Boston Vein Care in Chelmsford. I guess I just have to live with the regret and embarrassement of never showing my legs again but I hope I can help others with my experience. read more

Horrible customer service!!!Purchased a Groupon for 6 laser hair reduction treatments for a large area hoping I would have my upper legs done. When I went in for my consultation in March, I was told that a large area only covers one(1) leg and that in order to have both done, I would have to purchase an additional pkg for the other leg. Called and spoke with Dr Habib and after faxing him the Groupon listing clearly showing 'upper legs' in the ad, I was told "it doesn't work for them to honor my voucher" and that I need to call Groupon to request a refund. Absolutely ridiculous that Dr Habib is refusing to honor my voucher!!! read more

Not sure about the dermatologic services that other reviewers were seeking...but I chose Boston Vein Care because I needed treatment to reduce and eliminate painful and unsightly vericose veins, and I didn't want to travel to Boston for treatment. I have venous insufficiency, a disease I inherited, a disease that alters lifestyle and mobility and will, over time if not treated, result in leg ulcers and blood clots that can cause death. Unlike cosmetic treatments administered by technicians, vein treatment requires a licensed vascular surgeon; and, since I did not want the high-risk surgical vein stripping my mother had (once standard, now outdated) I needed a vascular surgeon certified and/or licensed in laser (or vein-wave) ablation and sclerotherapy. I chose Boston Vein Care because my initial appointment with Dr. Habib was impressive. He fully met all essential education, training, licensing, accrediting, and experience (procedures successfully performed more than 500 times) criteria. But beyond that he met critical criteria few physicians do (especially today): he is empathic, patient, reassuring, holistic in approach, and communicates all aspects of disease, options and treatment, risk and recovery, and patient responsibility and expectations in clear and concise terminology. I have nearly completed my treatment at this point and I am more than satisfied with the results. All phases of treatment and recovery have been either better than or as expected based on what Dr. Habib discussed with me. It is extremely important to note, however, that this is a two-office practice (Wellesley and Chelmsford), meaning that the Dr. will not always be available in the Chelmsford location. It is also extremely important to note that patient compliance is a crucial part of any medical treatment plan. That said, I have worn my compression stocking as instructed (though I detest them), and I have followed the exercise and activity instructions to the letter! My recovery (as in past surgeries) has been good because I follow orders--I understand that as my responsibility in the care contract between patient and physician. I cannot speak to problems noted with staff as the Chelmsford staff, which is very small, has been most gracious, helpful, considerate and consistent in the six plus months I have been in treatment. I have, on a couple of occasions, needed to contact Dr. Habib via the Wellesley office and have also found them to be helpful, timely and thorough in meeting my needs. read more
