I googled and found this florist and was hopeful for something that would be thoughtfully composed. For direction, I referenced an image on their site, and asked for succulents w/ pale flowers. Instead, what was delivered (and late for time requested), looked like a haphazard collection of scrap flowers - wild flower weeds. If I wanted that look, I would've done it myself. A smaller, concise bouquet would've been more effective then this. My disappointment is as massive as this scary bouquet. " Updated Since Bouquet replacement: I emailed Andrea to express my confusion & disappointment, and then felt I needed to email her again to see how it all could be amended. She did acknowledge that the bouquet sent had no succulents, despite my request. Ultimately the bouquet was replaced with one that was in the ballpark of what was requested. Andrea went above and beyond to give me the wedding of my dreams at the Henry Clay. I am so glad I brought her on board my wedding planning express! She created all of my wedding floral arrangements, my rehearsal floral arrangements, coordinated lounge furniture and prop rentals and flipped my wedding venue from ceremony to reception (among many other things). She worked with Events LLC to create a stunning one of a kind backdrop for my ceremony, and counseled me through a last minute venue change. She simplified everything for me, which was so appreciated especially in the last few months leading up to the wedding. She was so much fun to work with, and made me feel like she truly cared about me and my wedding. Her work is absolutely stunning and everything came out even better than I had hoped it would. TL;DR the owner was incredibly unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend giving any amount of money to this florist. I don't often write negative reviews. For me, it takes something way out of the ordinary to warrant the negativity. But the way we were treated was terrible. I am planning a wedding, with a moderate budget for a very small wedding. I saw that their website stated they were willing to work with any budget so I left an inquiry. About two day later, the owner called. She didn't introduce herself, but instead asked us if "we are seriously interested and going to use us or are you just going to take my ideas and have someone else do it." Clearly, we just wanted consult with an idea of price. We provided venue information. In response, she gave all of her negative opinions about out choices ("that Chapel is too small. But we can put as much shit as you want in there," and the reception venue "is too dark, it won't look good"). She ranted for several minutes about how we were wrong with our choices. She did not ask us a single questions about what we would want her to do, who we are, or what our vision is. Without any knowledge of any of these things, she continued to rant about our budget not being nearly enough (5000, again, for a very small wedding). She listed off prices that in no way adds up to 5000, unless her delivery fee is $3000. At the end of her criticisms and rants, she asked us for an in person meeting to discuss further. We said no thanks. I don't care how beautiful her arrangements might be, she is horribly unprofessional and rude for an expensive investment. read more

Andrea did our October 2017 wedding and it was nothing short of perfect. She absolutely brought my vision to life, helped steer me towards decisions that would work for our space, and created a wonderful bespoke evening for us (our wedding was also published in a bridal magazine). Andrea is more than just a florist, she is an experienced event designer- part florist, part wedding planner almost. Since our wedding I've already used her for another event, and for our first anniversary she re-created my wedding bouquet. She will be our florist of choice as long as she is in business! All that said, I have also found Andrea to be willing to work with both large and small budgets, and also price her services very fairly. My husband tried to send me anniversary roses and Andrea notified him late the day if she couldn't do it that day, but would delivery by noon the next. So the next day, the day after our anniversary at two o'clock I still didn't have flowers. They roses never showed so my husband just said to forget it. THEN he struggled getting a refund. Andrea is a seer and a savior. I had peered about many floral shops in Louisville and just couldn't find what I was looking for: modern, wild arrangements. I also felt as though I couldn't entrust the vision of my wedding flowers to just anyone, especially because seen I had seen and heard so many floral horror stories. So, I was nervous as I went in a for a consultation with Andrea, and brought at least twelve reference photos. She quickly eased my fears; she was an industry pro with the talent to prove it. When the wedding day arrived, I was stunned: the flowers were, without a doubt, my every hope and dream. I felt as though she had reached into my brain, pulled out the very thing I envisioned, and made it reality. To this day, whenever someone looks at my wedding photos, I get showered with compliments and I happily tell them it was the work of Boston's Floral Couture. Also, due to being a bride on a budget, I knew I could get a regular amount of more traditional flowers or a few marvelous works of floral art and DIY the rest of my wedding. I opted for the later, however, my plan was curtailed when I discovered most luxe floral shops had a $1200 minimum for their services. Which is where Andrea saved the day (again). She allowed me to order a bridal bouquet, large floral arrangement, and two corsages a la carte. Her prices are fair, especially for the quality of work she provides. Needless to say, Andrea helped make my breathtaking wedding day as fabulous as it was, and I will forever thank her for it. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. This woman / business is completely unprofessional and unreliable. I ordered flowers online, received a confirmation email plus another email from Andrea herself confirming the date. Days passed and no flowers were delivered. I sent emails but received no response, no explanation and no refund. I do understand that sometimes things are unavoidable but a simple email letting me know what had happened with an offer to deliver another day or refund would be the normal way to handle such a situation. Taking your clients money and then ghosting them is not the way to do things - it's lazy and dishonest and shows you have no ethics. Fortunately for me, PayPal refunded my money as they too got no response or explanation. Thanks Andrea for wasting everyones time. I will be sure not to recommend or use your services in future. read more

I simply loved working with Andrea at Boston's Floral Couture. I met with Andrea when I began wedding planning and she took the time to really get to know me and my wedding vision (or lack thereof). Andrea instantly "got" me in terms of my personality and likes/dislikes, so I felt really comfortable with her as my floral vendor. And wow! Andrea did not disappoint! My flowers, ceremony and reception decor were AMAZING and definitely fit our personalities and style! They weren't "cookie cutter" and were really unique, which I loved. Expensive, but definitely worth the money. Only florist who talked through every picture I brought about what exactly I liked in each picture. Andrea was also the only one to ask about the size of my dress to make the flowers proportional. Andrea was so awesome! She was easy to work with and knew how to guide us through several aspects of our wedding planning process beyond just the floral arrangements. From picking linens, to the furniture layout, and even topping the cake, she was great! Very Disappointed. I'm sure their arrangements are nice enough, but the customer service was Horrible! I went in for a bouquet but after asking a few questions about what options she had to choose from, she told me to leave, and refused to sell me anything. As a small business owner myself, I was shocked. I have never been treated so rudely by a any sales person, especially not in Louisville! Andrea simply makes the most unique and beautiful arrangements. My husband buys me the flower subscription so I get a new arrangement every Wednesday. The compliments always ensue after they arrive and I can generally get a full week of life out of the arrangement so I always have fresh flowers. read more
