This is a great place to meet up with friends for dinner and a walk. I have many favorite restaurants including Hot Iron, China City and Azul. There are many more to choose from and I think I have tried them all. I am always excited when someone suggest something here as a destination. There are also lots of places for just coffee or a drink. I often finish my visit with a trip to the grocery store Town and Country on my way home. It really feels like a one stop destination and I love not having to move the car multiple times. If you have not checked out the walking trail, you should do so. It's nice and shaded so you don't get too hot or too wet depending on the weather. You can take it from behind the Town Center all the way to McCollum park. It's stroller and dog friendly. There's usually other people out and about so you don't feel too unsafe even though a large portion of it goes behind people's residences. I also really appreciate the Summer Concert Series, this happens on Wednesday nights for the entire summer. It's usually cover bands, if you are lucky you can snag a seat at one of the restaurants bordering the forum on their patio, but if not they provide some seating. It's free and a good way to meet up with friends and listen to some music while enjoying the summer weather. It's usually a good time.

That's fine if they charge us but I felt like I was being nickled and dimed during my meal when we were trying to relax during our outing. Las Palmeras is not exactly inexpensive so why not raise their prices a little more, stop bugging the customer about more money during their meal, and provide customers with a seamless experience? They also gave us tiny take home containers when we clearly needed larger ones and they stopped providing after dinner mints. The signs identify as well as speak of the traditional usage of the various plants by NW tribes along with the legends of the Coast Salish. There are a wealth of habitats and cultural perspectives represented here. Truly a haven for nature and humanity. The Cedar Cathedral has forever changed the way I view PNW forests. The gift shop is small but rich in literature and local art. The volunteers we met throughout the center were friendly and personally invested in the conservation work of the foundation. Admission is reasonable and a membership option is available for those who wish to further support Adopt A Stream. Easy access to the center from the ferry and freeway. Convenient parking available free of charge. The only public restroom is a portable one in the neighboring park. There are picnic tables outside the gate.

Not because I'm a fan of their desserts, it's more of a "what's still open after dinner in Bellevue that we can have an excuse to sit and catch up some more". It's open late, plenty of seating to lounge around, I of course would pick something random to buy so I can sit here and hang out. 3. There's a hot pot spot here. I don't come here for hot pot though, I love their mushroom dynamite. On weekdays, it's half priced appetizers during dinner. I feel weird taking up a space and not ordering hot pot so I'll try to find somebody to tag along with so we can order a bunch of appetizers. If the dumpling place would open on my one day off, I would have already tried it since I've heard good things, but too bad I just haven't had the chance to stop by with my schedule. I went with my girlfriends to the Lamb & Co. galentines event and it was positively the cutest! We had meet and greets with the girls from unsellable houses, they served charcuterie cones, and had great discounts for the event attendees. It was so much fun shopping and there are so many adorable decor items to choose from! Plus all their candle scents are AMAZING. I found out about this event from a friend but will now be sure to get on their email list so I don't miss out in the future. Super fun event, well done ladies!
