I went to have Botox injection for my forehead on September 2 with Melissa. I had this done with her previously and liked the results. This time, aside from injecting Botox on my forehead, she suggested to inject Botox on my chin which was new to me and I agreed for her to do it. The second day I noticed what looked like 2 indentations (dimples?) on the lower part of my chin with a small lump (pea size) in between. I texted her and sent a picture of my chin to which she said to wait for a few days for the Botox to settle in. I waited for a few more days to see if they were settled but to my disappointment, they were still there. I texted her again, questioning why they're still there and also wrote I wish I did not have this done on my chin. She only texted back with "Give it about a week and a half!" I texted her last Saturday, after two weeks to say that I did not see any improvements whatsoever on my chin. Today is day 18 and I did not hear anything back from her. I understand people make mistakes and whatever happened with the Botox injection on my chin was clearly something that went wrong, but to ignore my concerns and not even offer an apology for what happened was beyond me. I paid good money and expected good results. The bottom line is, my chin looks weird with the two dimples (indentations) and a small lump in between. At this point, I just have to wait for the Botox to wear off on its own, which hopefully in few more months. Needless to say, I will not go back to her anymore for anything! read more

I never thought I would get botox. When I would think of people getting botox I would picture plastic faces that didn't move. And I pictured Joan Rivers... Anyway, a little over a year ago I started getting crippling migraines. They were so intense I couldn't even talk during them....if I would try I would stutter and slur. It was beyond awful. These horrible migraines would tense my entire forehead for up to 12 hours, and the doctors couldn't explain them. After 3 months of them on and off, and several overnight ER stays, the migraines eventually became less intense, but from all the tension in my forehead it left me with a very noticeable line across my forehead. Bleh! I am 33 and have never had a wrinkle. I'm OCD about moisturizing, protecting my skin, using gentle products, etc....but then suddenly the most painful time in my life leaves a mark on my head for me to remember it by! Total BS. Yeah, life isn't fair;) Desperate times call for desperate measures, so I looked into botox. I have never had a cosmetic procedure done, so I was nervous. This was my first experience getting Botox and lip filler, so I was a little bit nervous. I don't numb well, so I'm always prepared in advance, to experience some level of discomfort, but to my surprise, it turned out to be a minimally painful procedure, with really nice, conservatively done results. I originally wanted to get 2 syringes in my lips, but was advised to stick with just one during the first session. Turns out, I'm very glad I didn't go with 2 the first time, simply because of the huge change that would be right away. Melissa doesn't try to push you into doing more than reasonable to turn a profit, and has really solid, sound advice to achieve your goals comfortably and practically. That being said, I will definitely be back in a couple weeks to complete the look I'm trying to attain. If you are in the market for injectables or Botox, I would recommend doing your research ahead of time, so you can clearly articulate your concerns if any, and the look you are trying to achieve, as well as becoming knowledgeable about the aftercare involved. THIS WOMAN NEEDS HER LICENSE PULLED. She injected filler into my smile lines 5 months ago. It was the first time I had ever had any kind of filler. In the past two weeks I had a bump starting to form where the filler was placed and now I have a GIANT MASS in my face. I ended up in the emergency room with facial cellulitis. The CT scan I received showed that the filler had been injected partly into my sinus cavity and it was basically just sitting there and waiting for a bacteria to come along and bam, facial cellulitis. I now have constant headaches and facial pain. I am now having to be under the care of an ACTUAL DOCTOR and and ear, nose, and throat doctor to fix it. I've now spent thousands of dollars to dissolve the filler and on the ER. If the dissolving doesn't working I'm going to have to have surgical intervention. She also injected Botox in my chin improperly and my smilie was completely sideways for two months. She should NOT be performing injections if she literally has no idea what she's doing. The doctor at medical esthetics office I'm seeing told me they fix ALOT of her work. Ask anyone out there, she's notorious for this. Stay far far away read more
