She was so so knowledgeable about products, gave me step by step instructions on what she was doing throughout the facial, and offered a very inviting, calm, enjoyable space to receive the service! My skin looked like a glazed donut by the time she was done and I haven't had any breakouts or reactions to the products they used. (Which sometimes will occur.) I feel it's worth the money and when I'm back in town intend on booking another facial there! They have a plethora of services offered as well so it could be your one stop shop for all things self care related. They do sell products but they're not pushing them down your throat like some salons can do. I'd recommend to friends and family looking for a high quality spa.

It could be a little awkward to lay with your eyes closed for an hour and a half while someone hovers over your face to apply lashes but Pam made me feel so comfortable. I loved chatting with her and looked forward to my appointments. My lashes always looked great too. Pam also did my spray tan ahead of my wedding and it came out great. I got it done on a Thursday and by my wedding Saturday it had settled nicely. Eyelash extensions are expensive to keep up so I eventually had them removed (by my girl Pam again). I miss her and having lashes, so I think I'll return in the summer when I want that "low maintenance" look. Also, I love how easy it is to book an appointment online.

Something I found strange, beside the other nonsense, was that I would show her pictures of the EXACT lips that I wanted to build and they never looked like what I showed her. I even confronted her about in at our next appointment and she would say she normally does and even prefers the "bimbo look". Yes she said this verbatim. If bimbo equated to BOTCHED then maybe. Here below I have a photo of my lips currently. Shara, this is nothing short of a malpractice. I'm feeling very confused, discouraged, and misled at the moment by Glow in Powell. I went in for a…read moreconsultation earlier this week. I have some medical conditions and have talked to my PCP about the importance of being sure I do not take a compounded weight loss shot. The NP assured me it was not compounded. I kindly asked if it was something she could/was allowed to show me just to make me feel better. She was so kind and said absolutely! She said that was no issue at all. So today I went in to get 1 shot and was told I could not see any proof that it was not compounded and they were not legally obligated to show me anything. (And I understand that may be true). But my question was why when I asked the other day, it was so quick and easy to tell me absolutely they could show that to me no problem....but today they acted so weird, uncomfortable, and like that was absurd of me to ask. They spent nearly 15-20 minutes whispering in a back room before the same NP I saw the other day came out and was giving me very political answers and not answering my questions. She kept saying she needed proof of mg I was currently on to give me that mg. Well that makes total sense. I agree and can get that. But that wasn't my question....why could you happily offer to show me it isn't compounded until I come in to pick it up and ask. Not to mention they were fine to get me the 1mg until I asked to see it wasn't compounded...since I was told that was no problem to ask during my consultation. I am not here to say their shots are compounded. I don't have any proof of that. All I know is it gave me a very bad feeling. People don't typically respond awkwardly and defensively unless there is a reason. Just posting because I want people to be safe and be sure you do your research.
