I got manicure and pedicure at Botti Nails in Highland Park not so long ago and was really excited to finally find time to try this location because I recently moved in the area and I am in search of good nail salon. Honestly,I am not really picky about my nails and everything I ask for them is to look nice,clean and even after i get serviced. My nail tech was Jessica and she was sweet,quiet and determined but she didn't do a good job on my nails. My toes are,lets say,fine but my finger nails are awful. You cant tell i just got a manicure and the paint job looks like something my 4 year old daughter would do it. I had to actually ask her few times to cut more of the hanging cuticles. I really like the atmosphere here,color selection is awesome,the pampering is great too...but I suggest Jessica to do some painting practicing because I really really want to like this place. I can't wait to share my experiences at Botti, I'm a huge fan of them. Couple of my friends recommended me this place, as I heard there was really clean and neat, I LOVE it!!! They have various colors of polishes, I've gotten no chip all the times. I prefer to have a fast service, no doubt they did it very well. I'm not sure why they have negative reviews. I think they have good prices, have high quality of products as well. Overall, I was sooo satisfied with them, definitely will keep going back with my friends. Been here 2-3 times to get a no chip and I feel like every time I get a no chip here it lasts for only a week. Other places lasts 2-2.5 weeks? This place is more expensive for a no chip in comparison to all neighboring locations. I had a 2 hour break from my work and saw this Nail Salon and decided to go in. Very stylish place but the lady that did my pedicure definetelly was not proffessional. I told her to check my toes because I have pain there from my ingrown nails and she said it is better to leave it and the quality of my pedicure for the money I paid was not worth it. The bottom of my feet was still rough the rest of my feet's nails where cut uneven it was a disaster! Four days later I had to go to my regular Nail Salon to do my pedicure again! Very disappointed with the service. They are not customer friendly here at all. The technicians talk about their customers right in front of them in their own language, and it's very obvious. Not only that, but when customers make calls, the technicians make faces while on the phone when there are different customers sitting in front of them! Very unacceptable and rude. All the technicians rush in their service because they book so many people at once that they go fast to try and fit everyone in. That's not how it works. I don't come here to pay over $40 for no chip to get it done like a 5 year old did it. My wife, daughter, and I stayed at the Weston next door to the nail salon, for a Saturday night bar mitzvah. We made appointments on Saturday for 2 mani/pedis. I got a pedicure for the foot massage. We were all pleased. My wife loved her hand massage especially. The prices were good, $40 for a mani/pedi, $30 for a pedicure. Nice decor, relaxing, pleasant in every way, and good quality nails and massages. If we come back to Wheeling, we'll come again. read more

If I could give a negative review I would do it in a heart beat! I called them before I went and they told me Dip Powder was 35- so I am going in with my friends thinking, wow this is nice! and the pictures in their website were super cute!! get there and it is such a nice place. they start doing the nails and it comes to the powder and my nails look like stick-on's from dollar tree! So I politely ask them to shave the top down so it doesn't look like a beat up road. Never in my dreams did I think my nails could end up looking like a patched up Humpty Dumpty!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am new to the area and needed to find a nail place that I like. I loved the atmosphere and the pedicure completely. The massages of my legs, feet, and hands were amazing--the only thing I am not happy with is the application of my no chip. It's translucent even after 4 coats and very dull for some reason. I stay at the Westin Hotel frequently for business and have seen this salon several times and decided to go in tonight. I went in at 6:30 PM and asked if they had time for a pedicure as 7 PM is listed as their closing time. The man at the desk assured me that there was time and I was seated probably 5 to 7 minutes later. The whole thing was very rushed -- very minimal work done on my feet -- and no leg or foot massage. It was basically a nail color change done at a very quick pace and at a price of $30. If they were going to rush to get it done, I should never have been told that there was time. It was basically the 20 minute, $10 pedicure that you get at the cheaper nail places but this was $30 - more than a dollar a minute. Ridiculous! I am a huge fan of this salon! It is upscale, relaxing, clean, and affordable. They offer a rewards card which is a huge plus for me. You absolutely get a fantastic service for the price. The manicure service includes perks like OPI scrub (different scents to choose from), vitamin e massage, and cuticle oil treatment all for $15! Another advantage to this salon is that they are always accommodating and adequately staffed. They play relaxing spa like music, and have multiple tv's typically playing HGTV with no sound. The decor in the salon is so elegant and chic. The selection of polishes is absolutely overwhelming and they update often. I went in yesterday for my 5th or 6th visit and was pleasantly surprised that they had the new Essie spring 2016 collection. My only negative comment about this salon is that there is no tip line on credit card receipt and there is no sign saying cash only. Took my daughter to get her eyebrows wax and they left them very thin. I went back and they told me that too bad not everyone has perfect eyebrows. That there is nothing they can do. When they confronted the lady who waxed them she had miss understood thick for thin and they still didn't do nothing. I've never gotten a manicure so meticulous and perfect. I'm not big on fancy additions like scrubs or wax or anything; usually I end up washing my hands and arms after a manicure to get rid of the excess and very oily lotions salons typically use, but not this time! The scrub was lovely and the few drops of oil they used were solely to add a little vitamin E to my skin. Visit this place ASAP! And learn a little Korean to make them smile. :) read more

If I could give this place a negative score, I would. If you want your nails to look nice and to stay in tact for more than 2 days, avoid this place like the plague. I got dip powder with false nails and a pedicure. At first I loved it. They looked great, but they were not applied properly and in 2 days at least 4 of them had popped off like drugstore press-ons. All of them were off in 5 days after paying exorbitantly more than I would anywhere else. The owner would do nothing to help after bringing it to her attention.She spoke to me in a very condescending tone and even lied about to me....She offered me a free pedicure (which was of no use to me since I had already gotten a pedicure at her salon that week. Not to mention a pedicure is a cheaper service and didn't address the issue I had which was with my finger nails.) Pros: Clean, friendly, new, great pedicure chairs, options for scrubs Cons: Expensive, no place on credit card slip for tip(cash only? no signs), Limited options for nail services. My story: Walking in I was very impressed. Very clean, great pedicure chairs - but I will not be returning, unfortunately :( I called earlier in the day asking if the salon did Pink and Whites, they were asking me questions that I wasn't sure the answer to and they asked that I came in to look(should have been red flag #1). I went in, they checked them out and said they do not do them so I said thats ok, and asked if they could fill them and then do color and they assured me that was an option. After picking out my color, they began my "fill" with a combo of super glue and some white powder that resembled styptic powder (not the pink acrylic I would expect). She also needed to add a tip($5 for a small piece of plastic) to one of my nails that I broke earlier in the day, where she added some sort of material on top of the tip/nail. 5 minutes into all of this I asked if we should just stop this and only do a pedicure and said I could go get my nails done elsewhere. She convinced me that it would be fine.... after the nails which essentially turned into some version of No Chip (which they charge $45 for!? and is already peeling off from yesterday) I got a pedicure. They did do a nice pedicure, they had multiple options for scrubs, the tools were clean, and the chairs were great but I walked out paying $80 for something I would expect to may no more than $55. I was so flustered by the $80, I forgot to leave a tip to the nice lady(June) who spent 2.5 hours on me. I wish they would have told me from the start they do not do more than regular manicures / no chip... I would have just gotten a pedicure.My search for a nail salon that does pink and whites that is clean in the Wheeling/Mt. Prospect/Arlington Heights/Buffalo Grove continues. Came here this past weekend on Saturday in the early afternoon for a last minute full set before a wedding. I walked in and there was only one customer in there and about six workers mind you, and I was told that they weren't able to accommodate me. Really? A Saturday and you're going to have staff on that cant do a frequently requested service. She then tells me I can make an appt for later or come back another day but I again reiterate I needed them done asap. I go to walk away and then she realizes shes losing a paying customer so miraculously im told someone can do it. I tell them I need a nude color and grab an essie from the wall. Im then told to do a no chip so the woman then searches for a similar color that I didn't need. It was nearly four of them looking at the wall for 15 minutes looking for a color I again didnt need bringing off shades or completely different colors. As I was in a time crunch, I finally intervened and approached them and told her I was okay with the normal essie color. She persisted theyd find the no chip, but I had no time for this. If the customer is telling you what they want, honor it and dont try so hard to get the upsell on no chip paint. Again, miraculously after me intervening they found the color. The whole process was unnecessary and horrible. For $65 I received the worst mani ever. Im from the city and have never payed that much for a full set including the no chip. Absolutely ridiculous. And to think at the end when I payed with my debit card she had the audacity to let me know as soon as I handed it to her they don't accept credit card tips! And a day later a nail fell off..they are not sturdy at all, flimsy as it gets. What a jip read more

I love everything about Botti in wheeling! It is so clean and neat. The women that work there are incredibly nice, take pride in their work, help each other and make you feel so comfortable. Tiffany is my favorite, she's so talented and sweet. Everyone I get is wonderful. They take time with the pedicures, you get paraffin on your heels, great scrubs and massages. For my manicures, they do excellent no chip manicures and fantastic regular manis. I bring in pictures sometimes of different nail art that I want and they always do an awesome job! You get to pick different amazing smelling scrubs that they massage your hands with. I love how much time they take. And yet sometimes if I'm in a hurry they will always get me out when I need to leave. They always finish your mani or pedi with a back and shoulder massage that feels so good!!!!
