First time getting dipped nails HERE a couple of weeks ago and my hair kept on getting caught under my dips! I noticed the edges weren't properly sealed and kept lifting. So frustrating especially for the money I paid. Also, when I was getting my previous dip removed, the lady over-filed my pinky and I screeched a little and told her she overdid it but she didn't apologize at all. Also, the clear polish she used had such a bad chemical smell, I had to take Advil when I got home as it gave me a pounding headache! I came here because it was convenient from my house and only had an hour and fifteen to spare. Regardless of all this, I gave her a decent tip, but never again am I making that same mistake ever again! read more

Although this was my first appointment with Nail Avenue, it will definitely not be my last. The ladies working there were super friendly and talkative and made me feel like an old friend. The technician working on my nails had such a hard time getting my polish off from my last (pretty horrible) nail salon, but she persisted and explained that some salons use a base and top coat that will keep the polish on much longer, but you'd need to use a drummel to get it off - which was exactly how the previous salon had removed my polish. I don't want a drummel used to remove polish, as that seems like it would do more harm than good to my nails. I had a no chip manicure which turned out fabulous! They had hundreds of colors to choose from and the salon was super clean, well lit and friendly. Even the clients were all chatting with each other. It was a great experience. Walked in she said ten minutes had a manicure going started my pedi and a guy walked in and she told him ten minutes. Nothing like feeling rushed she cut nine of my toenails didn't cut my cuticles very fast exfoliation on the bottom of my feet. Four swipes and that was it didn't check temp of water. Nothing like tepid water. I'm currently requesting someone else so she can take care of her other guest and not rush thru my pedicure The other girl is rubbing my legs cuticles weren't really pushed back or cut, they start discussing the mans toenail next to me and hand it off to my girl well she's in the middle of rubbing my leg she's examine the toenail in her hand throws it out and starts to rub my leg. I LOVE Nail Avenue! I've been going here for a few years and I think they're the best. Everyone is so nice and they do a really nice pedicure (I have pretty dry heels) and work hard to make you look nice. We also threw a bachelorette party here and they decorated for us! They even had wine, glasses, and treats waiting for us when we showed up; they really went above and beyond for our party. So nice! Will always come back here. 10/10! read more

I love Nail Avenue! They don't have acrylic, but they make sure their gel manicures look FLAWLESS. They're really focused on making sure you have a relaxing experience, whether it's a short massage of your hands and shoulders or the relaxing-smelling oils. Absolutely the best customer service a mom could ask for. Let me explain I came in with my 2 month old baby for a dip manicure and pedicure, she was sleeping for all the pedicure but started to cry starting into the manicure, I nursed her... the staff provided me with a pillow for my arm and even covered my babys legs with her little blanket to keep her comfortable. It was a 5 min pause during my manicure and no one minded. I didn't feel rushed and I greatly appreciate that. After I fed her, the staff actually walked with her and then placed her in her stroller and pushed her around so I could finish my manicure.... wow what an amazing treat for a new mom. I just figured I'd have to cut my 'pamper session' short ( what I and prob every mom has to do, right?) but no I actually got a fabulous manicure!! I'm grateful that it was during a non busy time, so def make an appointment. I took advantage of the Monday-Wednesday $30 mani/pedi The salon is simple, no frills really but I'd rather get top notch customer service and quality then a "glamorous " looking salon. This place is great! They always find time to fit me in, but no matter how close to closing time, they spend the full amount of time and attention my poor hands and feet need. I use my hands A LOT and they get beat up pretty badly: calluses, dry skin and cuticle beds, etc - but my hands and feet look so pretty when I am done here! The specials ($30 regular mani/pedi M-W, $50 no chip mani/regular pedi Th-Sa) cannot be matched anywhere else. This picture is my no-chip mani. This place used to be so good. Now they just rush you out. I got the luxury pedicure (highest one) and I was still rushed. I brought my mom and the lady that worked on my mom did not move side to side. My mom who has Shoulder problems had to stretch her hand from one end to the other when they did her manicure in the pedicure chair. Now just a disappointment. read more

This place is wonderful, and everyone is always so friendly. I've tried a dozen salons in the area to find the best place for powder dip manicures, and finally discovered nail avenue. Definitely the best dip manicure around! I always get a dip manicure with tips, and the nail artists are always so meticulous and take their time to get the shape perfect. I also love that they don't put too many layers of powder on the nail like other places often do with dip - so the nails are the perfect texture and never too thick! My manicures here also last for WEEKS longer than they do when I go elsewhere. They give you a quick hand and back massage after your manicure, which is super nice. I've also gotten a pedicure here, which was just as great as their manicures - the nail artist really took her time to clean up my feet and make sure my toenails were all squared up and looking good. I think they also have a great deal for a $50 no-chip mani-pedi Thursday through Saturday. Your best bet is to call ahead to make an appointment - even if you're looking for something the same or next day, to make sure they can fit you in. Ok so everyone leaving reviews must either be relatives of the owner or live in caves. I hadn't been here in about 10 years because of bad service but after reading the reviews I decided to try again. OMG biggest mistake ever. I'm trying hard to find one redeeming quality. Umm umm the pedicure bowls were clean? She took my square nails and decided to make them round. I have no idea why. She didn't ask me first. She literally cut my toe and then put something on it that burned for 20 minutes. I'm a doctor. I know antiseptic stings but not like this. She spilled the bottle of gel polish - fortunately for me on her clothes not on mine. The design looks like it must be for the visually impaired because it kind of looks like a normal design just in super large print. Not incredibly cheap at $50 for just a pedicure (no chip) And what a stupid business person. Literally two employees sitting and doing nothing. Woman walks in without appointment. I was a walk in and they took me right away! I got a great pedicure and she took a long time making sure it was perfect. The pedicure was 5 stars, but not my manicure. This is less than a week old (dip powder with tips) completely popped off my nail! Tips are $5 extra which I expected but if I had known they wouldn't last I would've gotten a regular manicure for much cheaper. Such a great experience! I came in last minute on a Friday morning and they were able to accommodate me. I walked in and was the only customer there. Everyone greeted me and it felt like a very clean, new place (I'm not sure if they are new or not, but everything looked new, which I am one to appreciate). Something I noticed which may seem small, but I really liked was that everyone had a name tag. I am not good with names and when going to a place that offers services, you want to know that person's name and be able to request them in the future, right? This allows me to do so, as I still have no forgotten my nail artists' name - Soo. She was fantastic. She was very sweet and did a great job for my no chip manicure. The hand massage was not as long as I would have liked, but she stepped up the game by giving me a nice neck and back massage. Am I going to all the wrong places? After getting many manicures, why is this the first time someone has given me a neck/back massage? I told my friend about it and she was like, yeah, they don't do that everywhere? I was making appointments for myself and my bridesmaids (3 SNS/dip, 1 French, 1 gel, 1 no chip and 6 pedicures) and they were able to accommodate all of us, working together to make sure nobody was waiting too long to have something done.
