Your eyes dart across the front room from wooden jewelry boxes to pottery to wind chimes. Enter through a doorway and you see display cases of beautiful jewelry and hand-made greeting cards. Further back is a huge room full of Paul Sirofchuck's woodwork -- furniture and clocks. These are the real jewel of the shop. Mr. Sirofchuck is a local artist and his wife, Mandy, runs the shop, very graciously showing you around and answering your questions. His work can also be found upstairs. Other artists' work is displayed throughout the gallery, as well, all very eye-appealing and priced appropriately.

Now that he has opened his own place and gallery, totally renovated the building he is opened in, I have made it a point to take my business to him for a variety of needs. The layout is very open and bright- brand new hardwood flooring and white walls with built ins for pottery and ceramic pieces that are for sale. They also have a small variety of local art and art that Steve himself has done as well. The selection is a bit small due to just opening, but from what he has said there will be shows and more art coming in the next few weeks. I have actually taken two pieces to him today to be matted and framed. Steve is very helpful, genuine, and his quality of work is incredible. Thanks and looking forward to more great work!

The owner is a…read morevery well-known painter, James Groves- who has painted a variety of works from Cumberland paintings, to battlefield paintings dating to the Civil War, to paintings in the region of landscapes. The first thing I can say is if you are planning to stop by here- PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE allot a hefty amount of time for it. James is a wealth of information and these works that are the size of walls are so detailed and researched that he will explain why he painted what where he did in great detail. You have to come here once. It's an area and region MUST! They also have originals, prints, and framed works for sale as well- I have several! If you google James Groves and are from the Cumberland area you'll immediately know what works I mean- from paintings of downtown, to the churches on Washington Street, to the overlooks in the area and in the Narrows. The stone steps led to an art gallery featuring Bill, Lori, and Jeanette Gregory. Bill and Lori takes wonderful scenic photography and make wonderful stone sculptures for placing in and outside of the house - Jeannette is the master stuffed teddy bear creator. If you are into scenic photography, this place is for you. The stone sculptures were amazing, and my favorites were the heart-shaped ones, the cutting of the 'rock' bread, the bunnies, as well as the figurines on logs. We plan on purchasing these to decorate our lawn. There were also log stools that I found to be oh-so-neat! You can also see more of the sculpture masterpieces outside of the gallery, the trail winding around the front of the place. Jeanette's stuffed bears were pretty impressive - she showed me an album of all of her creations and of her work; I found it so cool that people can provide her the fabric (someone's t-shirt, jeans, favorite quilts/blankets, fur coats, etc.) - she can use these in order to create a memory in a bear form - she uses high-grade polyester for the filling as well as high-quality acrylic eyes. You can also request clothes for the bears and any other customizing you want. The bears range in sizes, so you can pretty much request whatever. I thought that this was so neat, so it would be a wonderful and a personal present for the young and old alike. They also have a cute dog named Tink who was extremely precious and sweet. This gallery is definitely a treat to stop by to chit chat with the ever so sweet Bill, Lori, and Jeanette; be sure to check out their work - I am all about supporting local artists!
