The process with them started out well, as they were quick to respond and get someone out there to take a look at the roof. Unfortunately, went downhill from there. I signed the proposal and waited to hear back on a date. Didn't hear back so followed up with the owner at which point they gave me a date a few weeks out. Didn't work with my schedule, so I asked to move. Again, I didn't hear anything back so I followed up. At this point, the blame was put on me as the customer for initially asking to move the start date. Seemed odd, but their pricing is cheap so went along. After rescheduling again and two months later, the owner emailed me saying they're unable to do the job. Extremely unprofessional, and left me hanging at the end. I should've read the reviews before calling. As the name says: BOTTOM. They were referred to me by my neighbor that said they service Bel Air. She had her roof inspected by Bottom Dollar. I called them 3 times and finally received a callback from a very angry woman screaming at me telling me to check my voicemail. I could barely hear what she was saying as she was screaming at the top of her lungs! Apparently I should be grateful they called me back once after I was trying to reach them three times. As if that wasn't enough, she then goes on to tell me that they don't service Bel Air but have availability in June. Which is it? You don't service Bel Air or you don't have time until June? I have never experienced such unprofessional behavior by an employee of a business. It seems treating a potential customer like garbage is due to the fact that they do not need any new customers. We can recommend Bottom Dollar Roofing to anyone that has a roof issue. Our roof was the 1985 original roof and we wanted to replace the black paper and keep the concrete shingles. Their quote was for two layers of paper with replacement tiles and wood replacement extra. The crew worked for a week on the project. They were diligent, showed up on time, and cleaned up at the end of every day. The workmanship was excellent, and at the end, you could not tell that the whole roof had been disassembled and reassembled. The new tiles used to replace broken ones were placed in an area that could not be seen from the front or the back. I called around several places for an estimate, Keith was the first person to show up, who happened to offer the lowest quotation as well. Keith was up front about needing to wait about 6 weeks before starting the job. I was provided with shingle samples from GAF HD series, which really helped with my decision. On day 1 of the job, Keith's team showed up 1/2 hour early. In fact, the team showed up 1/2 hour early everyday until the job was completed. I was told the job required 1 week to complete, but the team completed it in only 4.5 days. My husband went up on the roof to inspect the work daily and complimented on the workmanship and quality of materials used. He was very satisfied overall. Additionally, Keith took care of visiting the city to acquire permits and scheduled inspector visits. I did not have to do anything besides paying on time. I would like to let people know, that this company is very professional, they are very responsive, their work is meticulous and they were very clean and when I got home from work, I couldn't notice that they were even there. They are honest and their price is very fair. We did a full roof replacement with new tiles. The only scheduling change that we ever had was due to weather. All the workers that came out were very polite and accommodating, making sure to stop working for a couple of minutes if we walked out. They also notified us prior to blocking the garage and asked if we needed to take our vehicle out. Overall, they were very conscientious and we had a great experience with them. What a waste of my time. I called Bottom Dollar out for a quote on a roof repair. We have a 4x6 area on the front eaves that needs to be repaired. The technician looked at the roof and then said "thats a big job. You have two layers of shingles. We are really busy right now." And then wouldn't quote the job. Why did I stay home to meet with him when he isn't even willing to quote it? All the companies are 6-8 weeks out but they are all willing to at least quote the job. Very poor customer service. I actually tried to have another roofer come out for my first project and he literally told me to "try doing it myself." Then I called bottom dollar and they had me taken care of in less than a week. Both times I've worked with bottom dollar, it's been somewhat of an emergency during the rainy season. And both times they responded extremely fast and completed the work much quicker than I would have expected. On our second job, we had our whole roof replaced.
