When we pulled in their were more motorcycles than cars - so a "biker dive bar" is even more appropriate. Anyway - the bartender/waitress was amazing - great personality, on top of her game and assessed the old couples as not normal clientele - but happy to serve. Food was great - we got some burgers some fries and beer. Better than anything in the airport - and much more entertaining. I'll be back ... but probably not with wives (the restrooms were a bit rough).

We got two orders of their pineapple salsa with taro chips. It was yummy but wasn't enough substance to match the drink levels. For drinks, our group got a wide variety. They have all sorts of flavor pairings to accommodate every guest. I got the Captain's Revenge after hearing the Pearl Diver was unavailable. It was good but not amazing. For my second drink, I got the Chocolate Banana Old Fashioned which I thoroughly enjoyed. I didn't hear anyone in our group be disappointed with what they ordered. Our server, Jazmine, was very knowledgable about the menu and asking the right questions to make sure what we each ordered would be something we liked. Overall, this was a fun experience and I am happy I finally got to visit! My experience was slightly tainted with how much was not available the night we visited.

He kept true to his roots and opened this gem, nestled nicely on Irving Park Road next to Mantra Restaurant. Sway Bar hosted my 29th birthday, and the owner and his wife went out of their way to make not only my experience a memorable one, but also each of my guests. At the time, the bar was brand new and my guests (about 30 or so people) were unfamiliar with the establishment. At the end of the night, my guests were raving about the "Totally cool new bar that opened up in Schiller Park!" I found myself in Sway Bar frequently after my first visit, and each time is better than the last. The staff is friendly and easy to chat with. On the weekends, you can often catch a local DJ spinning some jams. Beware, impromptu dancing takes over like mad. I dare you to not have an awesome time! You owe it to yourself to check out Sway Bar. If you are looking for more low-key, come during the week.
