I was under the assumption that they would be labeled preventative Well Woman, but come to find out I was sadly mistaken. After my lab results were in, I had a 15 min call in which I was billed $110. In the past with all my other physicians the discussion of labs was free and included in the service either by chat or a personalized phone call. Cross Roads considers it a visit. Then I received a lab bill for $227.32. It seems that what you discuss with the doctor is the diagnosis they use not preventative. For 25 years I have been going to a yearly exam to discuss all my health changes. Labs done with my yearly well woman physical have always been paid at 100%. I both called and chatted with the office asking if they would change the diagnosis to preventative so the labs would be paid as I am on a budget and my insurance covers the labs with my well woman. I was told they would not change the diagnosis codes and that I would have to pay the labcorp bill in full. I do not blame Labcorp and I paid the bill. So, my advice is ask questions and read the fine print if the office has special payment forms. My ins paid the Office Visit charge, and I paid $337.32 for the "additional visit "and labs. What a disgrace. I will be returning to my OB/GYN in Flower Mound where everything is billed with the patient in mind not their bank account.

He did not suture my stomach correctly and there was a 10 cm open wound to my internal organ (stomach). The morning after my surgery he made rounds and told me I was one of the hardest cases he had and that he almost stopped the surgery midway. Well, obviously he did because he definitely did not finish sewing my stomach up. This has left me off work for 3 months. I missed my granddaughters kindergarten graduation and her first dance recital. When he decided to transfer me to a GI specialist to fix "a small leak" he did not tell me the whole story and potentially could have had a really bad outcome. When I did get to the GI specialist, he said I had a hole in my stomach the size of 2 fists. Luckily, he has been a saving grace for me. I would recommend you take a really good look around at his medical record on Texas Medical Board and his reviews before deciding to use him.
