MLC also earns a top spot on my list of essential places that helped me survive 2020. Although they were forced to close, I kept my membership going and was rewarded with extra sessions. With all the stress of this past year, treating myself to a massage helped. The staff here keep a clean facility, taking extra precautions to keep things sanitary and disinfected. From their check in procedures including hand sanitizing and temperature screening to the therapists wearing masks during sessions, they made every accommodation possible. I renewed my membership again when I was able to because this place is amazing. There's a room with relaxing music and comfy chairs to sit in prior to your appointment and they give you a heated neck wrap and a drink of choice (tea, water, wine) The therapists I've had here are exceptional and you can't beat the membership pricing for what you get here. read more

Just went for my first massage here today. Fantastic all-around experience. Spa is pristine, great temperature and lighting; overall a very comfortable environment which is pretty important when the goal is relaxation. Front desk staff was friendly and professional, you can tell everyone here enjoys what they do and brings positive attitudes to their job. I've only had two previous professional massages and compared to those (massage envy and another place whose name I can't recall), and I appreciate how MLC was thorough about identifying my current ailments and goals and to make sure my massage therapist addressed them. Mikki was my massage therapist and she did a fantastic job. Great pressure and technique, conversed with me in a friendly manner but wasn't too chatty or distracting in any way. Helped me understand the cause of specific muscle soreness, did a great job at reducing tension and gave me tips for exercises and stretches to help improve my posture and prevent future muscle stress. I feel like I can stand up straight for the first time in weeks. Their massage program seems like a sweet deal- I didn't sign up today, since I'm going to drop mad hints to my SO and convince him into gifting me a membership for Christmas. (Somebody send my man a link to this review, ok?) The front desk staff explained the membership succinctly and helpfully, and were not pushy at all (which is one of my biggest pet peeves when visiting any places that sells memberships). What does a girl do when she needs a last minute birthday massage? Reach out to Massage Life Center for an SOS! I booked a last minute couple's massage this past weekend. They were super accommodating and helped make my day of pampering a reality. The lobby is MUCH nicer than I thought it would be based on the non-descript exterior. The receptionist greeted us promptly and ushered us back to the Whisper Room where we were offered complimentary wine and a heated neck pillow while we filled out some paperwork. Shortly after that, both my husband and I were whisked away to our massages. My therapist was super friendly- we chatted through my entire massage. My husband enjoyed his massage as well and said he actually woke himself up with his snoring which just tells you exactly how relaxed he was! We both left feeling like jello and wondering why we've waited so long since our last massage. We will definitely be back again soon! read more

I've been twice now and not sure why I didn't go sooner! Shen is amazing. I like firm pressure and he didn't disappoint. I haven't had a massage in a while with a busy lifestyle and being a month post partum, I needed some self pampering. I reached out here for an appointment and Stephanie was so quick to respond and set me up to come in at the end of the week. The facility is very nice inside and the staff is super nice. I was taken to the whisper room where I received a drink and heated neck pad. I could have fallen asleep right there it was so relaxing. The staff came in and asked about my needs and goals and then introduced me to Barbara who was amazing. Barbara knew what she was doing and kept making sure I was okay to lie down one month post partum, made sure I tried to relax and kept making sure the pressure points were good. I walked out feeling so much better. I ended up signing up for a membership and figured I can do something to treat myself monthly :) read more

STEPHANIE the OWNER is the literal worst. I don't know if she has manic episodes or what, but one second she seems like the nicest person in the world and the next second she is someone completely different. I HIGHLY encourage you to research and review the MANY ONE STAR reviews (here and on other sites) before you even walk in the door, ESPECIALLY if you think you want a membership. She has been known to call the police on customers, to keep charging your CC, to make it very difficult to leave the membership despite being the OWNER, she has HIGH employee turnover (which is a shame because she has had MANY wonderful therapists), and god forbid, even has been know to yell at literal children. Educate, research, and above all else, DO NOT SIGN UP HERE!!! She doesn't even give her employees the time of day when THEY are the ones that are uncomfortable. No wonder no one stays long. Big yikes. The massage therapists here deserve so much better. They are so talented and sweet. No one deserves to be treated the way that Stephanie is treating these people. I honestly have no idea how Stephanie keeps this place in business. Except maybe thru fraudulent charges to peoples accounts who don't even want to keep their memberships. read more

Terrible management and way to run a business!!! My husband has spent $1,000 in massages over the past 17 months here. He works out of town and it was always really hard to plan his massages. If you don't plan here 2 weeks in advance you're not getting in. We also moved to Oklahoma during this 17 months. They would not let him cancel his membership over the phone, he had to make a special trip to Tx to cancel. THEN they said he could only give 4/17 massages to his family that is local!!! Let me repeat 4/17!!! Nor would they give him any type of refund! He paid for those extra 13 massages and should be at LEAST allowed to give them as gifts. This business is so crooked and is 1000% money hungry! STAY AWAY! read more

I was excited to try this place and my boyfriend had gotten me a massage here. It was a terrible massage and the therapist did not listen to what I wanted at all. When we got home my boyfriends cc had been charged twice for the massage!! We called Stephanie to tell of the mistake and she said she wasn't inclined to fix it since we weren't happy with the service and therefore not going to come back! I went for the first time on Friday and everything was wonderful! It was such a great experience since the moment I walked in the door! I was very impressed and the staff was so friendly! I ended up purchasing a membership and can't wait to go here every month for a massage!!! One of the better places I have been and would highly recommend! I just walked out of my first appointment with massage life Center. I was greeted warmly by Stephanie who escorted me into the comfortable and relaxing waiting room, where I enjoyed a complimentary heated neck wrap and a glass of wine. Already relaxed, I was introduced to my massage therapist David. David was sure to take detailed notes of exactly what I was looking for out of my massage including desired pressure and problem areas. I came to massage life center not knowing what to expect considering I hadn't had a massage in over 5 years, the staff are super friendly and the therapist know what they are doing!! Kelvin is a master at his craft and a very knowledgeable person, he really focuses on the parts that need work. I have a basketball tournament tomorrow and have never felt better, I didn't know how tight my body was until I left feeling almost new. Would definitely come back and recommend. read more

Very disappointed in this place!!! I've had several massages here which were great, and I even bought their "membership". I recently had to cancel due to relocation to a different city. I called to book my final appointment to use my existing credit that had been charged to my card. I also let them know on that phone call that I would be cancelling the membership when I came in. So, the day came for my appointment and I was informed that an employee had cancelled my appointment. They must've been confused by my request. Since I am moving and have NO TIME to come back for another appointment I asked for a refund for May. The owner said there was nothing she could do and and that I had 60 days to use the credit. Hello!!!! I'm moving! I won't be here for 60 days!!!! They would not even let me transfer the credit to someone else or buy product from the spa. She would not budge and claimed there was nothing she could do even though she is the owner and I'm pretty sure she can issue refunds. I work in hospitality and know if something is my fault I will MAKE IT RIGHT. Very sad they canceled my appointment- and refused to make this right. I would not risk getting a membership here! read more
