Wow. I am happy to report that we have added a new place to our list of restaurants that we intend to frequent. The menu offers a variety of yumminess that everyone can get onboard with, from the best pot roast around to a bangin' Italian sandwich you dip in au jus. Their flavors are on point. It reminds me of good home cooking that gives you all the comforts and flavors of family recipes already perfected by mom. The service was awesome too. My dad and stepmother live in Boulder city and have been here a few times. When we came to visit, we decided to take him here for an early Father's Day dinner. We got there at 3:30 AM so it was very easy to get a table! The gentleman that helped us was super nice and very kind to my elderly parents. Dad got the fish and chips and Susi got the chicken tenders with fries. Both were very happy! My husband got the pork chops and said it was Tasty but a little bit dry. Normally don't drop a review after one stop in Boulder City but this is hands down the best fried fish I have had in Vegas. They call it a Midwest Fish Fry but don't be intimidated it's basically just some amazing fresh pieces of cod, fresh prepped in-house (not frozen) then PERFECTLY seasoned and fried. I have been in here several times and have been pleased. I recently went in for a go order, Meatloaf Monday, Pot Roast and a Caesar Salad. The meatloaf was very good yet served dry, even the scoop of mashed potatoes had very little gravy, still a solid plate. In the past, I have been pleased with the pot roast, this time not so much. I am not sure if it was because I went not much after opening time or if they served up yesterdays first. The pot roast was dry and stringy and not very tender, again the potatoes barely had any gravy. I asked specifically if they made their own in house caesar dressing....yep house made. I got home to a $13 tiny portion of wilted lettuce and croutons with no detectable dressing. read more

The service was great here, the staff is very sweet! The food leaves a lot to be desired, which is to be expected given the wide variety of options. I went with a large group and we tried 8 different dishes and none were amazing. The veggies and pot roast were doused in oil, the mashed potatoes seemed to be out of a box and the sauce in the chicken parm tasted like straight tomato paste. But the onion rings, ranch, potato pancakes, and steak Caesar wrap were delicious! I think the simple sandwich route is the way to go. We love to support local business and hope that the Supper Club can make a few changes to become even better. read more

Recently went and tried the Philly cheesesteak. What was served was a steak fat sandwich. For the most part it was 3/4 inch by 3/4 inch strips of gristle and fat with a few larger random pieces, clearly the chef couldn't cut them either. Flavor was off tasted old. Upon deconstructing my sandwich I could not find one edible piece of actual meat to cut off the gristle. Side was drenched in grease. Never again isn't a strong enough sentiment. The person I went with also had a poor meal. While their meat wasn't old it was of poor quality and the dipping sauce was a bowl of grease rather than dip. This reminds me a lot of a restaurant making food they have never seen or tasted before and have no idea what fresh or quality mean. read more

Boulder City Supper Club Amazing experience! The smothered chicken was tender and juicy covered with peppers, onions and provolone, accompanied with pan seared zucchini and baked potato. I ended the meal with deep fried cheesecake drizzled with strawberry sauce. Indulgence overload. Overall so delicious. I had to return a second night to have lobster gnocchi with tomato cream sauce, and it was rich, creamy, and packed with tender pieces of lobster. Although I wanted more cheesecake, I was just too full!! The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the whole meal even better. Absolutely two of the best meals I have had in a while. The food and service was so good that we went two nights in a row and would have been a third but we are leaving tomorrow. The ribeye was cooked perfectly along with the vegetables. Tonight I had the maple bacon pork chops with potato salad and baked beans and it was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had. Service was fantastic with Jim the first night and Hannah tonight. Other staff will also come to check with you and that's something that's lacking at other places now days. Several weeks after opening, my girlfriend insisted on trying the new hype in Boulder City to be sorely disappointed. The owner Morgan was unable to articulate the menu properly, which turned to frustration for my girlfriend who wanted to know what she was eating; specifically the deviled eggs. Other patrons had to provide the information. While eating our food, the owners at the end of the bar visibly consuming copious amount of alcohol were watching with mounting frustration. While waiting to pay for our tab, the unhinged male owner Scott came over, moved my girlfriends martini and assured "he had been in business for 30 years if she thinks she could do better, she could get the f**k out his restaurant". Followed being called a b*tch by his wife at the end of the bar. Shocked by the exchange, my girlfriend got out of her seat to be ushered by both owners out front who were trying to instigate a fist fight on the sidewalk while verbally abusing her. In the 35 plus years I have been going to Lake Mead/Boulder City, this location has been several different establishments. Never tried any of them (don't know why, no particular reason). The bartender at a nearby bar suggested we give it a shot. Five of us. The place had one other occupied table when we arrived. We were greeted and seated promptly and courteously. The service throughout was straightforward and business like, no banter or humor, but the job got done. The food was very good. Pot roast, pork chops, chicken parm, and scampi. I tasted a bit of everyone's meal and they were all solid. The only oddity, was a guy seated at the end of the bar who was eating heartedly and going behind the bar to do whatever gets done behind a bar I suppose. I assumed he was the owner and I found it strange he wasn't making the rounds to the diners and schmoozing a bit . Especially in light of how difficult it is to make it in the restaurant business in Boulder City. I asked him if he was in fact the owner. Nope, just a friend of the owner. Turned back away from us and went back to eating. Odd. I would recommend the restaurant, but I hope their style of service fluffs-up a bit, or they could be in trouble down the line. read more

From the moment you enter the Supper Club you're treated like family. Scott greats you along with one of his staff and they could not be nicer. Friday was packed and it was before 5pm. The food is exceptional. The home made clam chowder is a must get on Friday. We had the cod and perch and delicious. Wish there was room for dessert after seeing the options. My wife and I came in for "Meatloaf Monday" this week. We ended up not ordering the meatloaf, she had pot roast and I had a Chicago Beef sandwich. BTW... We saw the meatloaf other diners ordered and it looked great! My sandwich was fantastic, I have been craving a good Chicago Beef for a while and it really hit the spot. But the star of the table was the pot roast. It was so tender you could cut it with a fork and was seasoned perfectly. Absolutely the best we had, possibly Ever! My wife actually said it was better than what her mom used to make, that was very high praise that I don't believe she has ever said. She must have said "Dam#, that was good" about 10 times on the way home. We were greeted and seated quickly upon arrival and the food came out quickly. The service was super friendly and efficient too. And the cost was very reasonable. Basically, it was everything you could want for a nice casual dining experience. This place is a great addition to our little town and after 7 years in Boulder City, we finally have a stand-out favorite lunch/dinner spot here in town along with the Coffee Cup for breakfast! This restaurant is a shadow of its former self. Under the previous owner, this was one of the best restaurants in town. This former glory is in the rearview mirror. While the ambience is good, and the service remained excellent. the food was one star at best. The French onion soup ordered by my partner was the worst that she or I have ever tasted! It was not edible and remained uneaten. The walleye was edible, but far from the quality of this dish at other restaurants. All in all, this restaurant was a great disappointment. We live here in Boulder City during 6 months out of the year. We were excited to try this place out. It didn't disappoint. The menu has a wide variety which is good because you have many options. I've had the roasted duck and it was wonderful. Prices are also reasonable. The ambiance is good, and it doesn't get very noisy which is a problem with a lot of other places in Boulder City. Steak was great, meatloaf was as well... now for the Not so good-- the gravy which was on the steak, meatloaf, and potatoes .. was OVER THE TOP SALTY! We scraped it off where we could, but it was hard to take off the potatoes, so we kind of just picked through them. I mentioned it to the waitress & she informed the chef, I also mentioned to the owner & was told thank you & that they had changed it out. To be honest, I was quite disappointed that they did not offer any type of discount on the meal. I would return as everything else tasted amazing... but next time If it's an issue, I will request my meal be replaced without gravy or maybe just ask for it to be served on the side. read more

However, 45 minutes later when we inquired as to the progress of our dinner, the waiter, withe the place half empty, responded "we're busy. Finally the food arrived, in the cold side of luke warm. Despite this, the duck and chicken were tasty. The filet, however, tasted somewhat like a mixture of sawdust and cardboard with some beef broth mixed in.
