On the suggestion of a friend, I ventured here for dinner. It is at one end of Fremont street and has a rail to sit at and watch the "street performers ". It is Vegas and it is loud. Inside the restaurant was a small band and they sounded great. I ordered the chips and guac and coconut shrimp. It was happy hour so I also had a couple of house margaritas. The guac was fine. Great voice! I ordered the mahi-mahi fish and chips. That's not the kind of fish you deep fry. It was rubbery and dry but it looked good. Got a large portion of three big pieces. Our waiter was excellent, but there wasn't very many people in there at 5:30-6. My husband ordered surf and turf; the shrimp was very good that the steak was very fatty. This review is based on our experience here at Mickie Finnz specifically for the Super Bowl viewing party. When we decided planning to come to Las Vegas back in December, I started looking for a place I can get reserved seats to watch the game without paying ridiculous prices for watered down weak drinks and limited stadium style food. Took care of all our food and drink needs. Always on top of things. No errors on any of our food orders, so a shoutout also to the kitchen staff as well. My constructive criticism or slight issues are the one main TV we were watching was in the path of servers and food runners as well as the restroom traffic so many times your viewing was affected. Second was the sound system. Understanding it's a restaurant and not a sports bar, the area we were in wasn't getting sound completely so it was hard to hear the game clearly. Loved the many give away's and the opportunity to win a raffle prize. Overall we had a lot of fun. The drinks were better than well drinks and the food was definitely not stadium style food. We all ordered some drinks and everything was fine until a homeless woman came up the ramp and preceded to down one of our drinks. A full glass of red wine. That was until Fran, the GM of the establishment, came out and said she "reviewed the security tapes" but she saw nothing of the sort take place regarding the homeless woman stealing a glass of wine. Now keep in mind, nobody asked for MGMT to come out to address us and the incident that just happened. So I guess she is calling all 7 of us liars, and what just happened, did not really happen, or she was looking at the wrong security tape.
