This place is truly a gem worthy of being discovered and I'm so happy we decided to head there this week. It was a frequent place my boyfriend and his family visited when we was smaller and he had always remembered it fondly. This place is full of different activities to do at very reasonable price points considering how almost anything you can think of has gone up in price! I mean UNLIMITED mini golf!? I'm thinking of spending a morning I have off just to play for fun. The two different courses are super fun with a variety of obstacles to make it exciting. I even consider the fallen leaves and acorns on the course as little extra obstacles to get the ball in the hole! Why not make your visit fun and positive than negative. To me, that's the best way to have a great time. We actually started off our visit heading to the batting cages. It was a first for me and they actually have different speed cages depending on the level you feel you're at. We started at the slower speed softball pitch, it was such a fun time! I hit a few good ones and figured out the right stance too. My boyfriend moved over to the fast pitch for his second round and boy you gotta stay alert at this one! He hit a couple of good ones before we were ready for some mini golf. Though some reviewers have stated it's a bit run down, it still has everything they can offer to ensure a good time. On that same vein, the more people come, the more profit they'll make which leads to more improvements they can make and more activities they can offer. To me, this place is truly a gem especially being open 10am- 10pm everyday from April to the end of October, weather permitting. The owner, Dale, was super friendly, helpful, and had a warm welcoming personality that already has me eager to come back. I'd love to bring my family and friends too! The food menu looked great and they even have corn hole and a cute dining area!! I'm also wondering if they have an option to rent out the place for a birthday party! If you're looking for something to do that is outside, interactive, different, and inexpensive I highly recommend heading out to Millard to take a swing here at Boulder Creek Amusement park! Place is worn and needs some major TLC. Not worth $30 for 3 adults. They won't even blow off the leaves from the courses. Shows the management doesn't care about their own entertainment business. This place needs a major refresh. Overgrown old landscaping and nothing but weeds and ants. Nearly all of the holes are in disrepair. Green surfaces are patched together like grandmas quilt. Safety along the walking surfaces does not seem to be a priority. Not going back. read more

Great little afternoon or evening fun for the family. It is old school fun, batting cages, put put, corn hole and just some good "unplugged" fun. I'll admit not the bright shiny new place, but you can have fun with the kiddos, food and a beer. Good prices as well. Top tip: if you are doing the batting cages bring your own bat. read more

This place is so cute. we are in town visiting from Las Vegas and were looking forward to some outdoor fun. Very friendly staff when you walk in and options for snacks and drinks. The coolest part about food and drinks is they bring you your food or drinks while you're on the course! They should definitely be getting tips for this! The course is noticeably old with some wear and tear on the greens but the kids didn't notice. super fun holes and a great family out-ing! there are options for batting cages as well as cornhole which I think is super fun. read more

The course is in terrible disrepair. The carpet is coming up, fraying a super uneven to the point if the ball was going to go in, it won't. I admittedly have not been to many putt putt golf courses in Omaha, but there's got to be some in better shape than this one. Our family loves coming here. We use the batting cages and mini golf regularly. The membership was definitely worth it. They've got a good selection of snacks and drinks as well as a grill. The staff are always friendly. It is obvious the people that run this place care about it because every time we visit something is getting repaired or updated. read more

We had our sons birthday party here and he totally loved it! I loved it too because it was reasonably priced and I didn't cringe when I paid the bill. The party room was huge and all set up when we arrived. The establishment was clean and Leslie took SUCH good care of us! She was very attentive and moved the party right along to keep us on schedule. We were able to bring our own cake and they provided all the food and drinks! Okay, I REALLY like mini golf. And I really enjoy a good deal. And they have great mini golf and they give COUPONS. So it's fabulous fun. They ALSO have batting cages (sweet) and a rock climbing wall (eee!). There's a quasi diner inside which serves hamburgers, hot dogs you know, food you'd find served by someone wearing a paper hat. They also have tunes from a country music radio station playing outside which adds a little charm (and I don't even like country music!). My idea of a good date is a rousing game of mini golf (I like to talk smack on the putting green cause I never win) and a little swing at the batting cage (reliving my high school softball days) so this is spot-on for that sort of PG-13 fun. read more

I can see evidence of recent improvement while out on the mini-golf course, but there's still a long way to go. In fact, I have to wonder if they'd be better off re-grading many of the holes, not just re-turfing them. All too often, your ball will just roll right back to the tee area, and right on past it, gathering speed with every inch. Even if you hit up by the hole, this will often happen. I thought it was an intentional difficulty in the beginning, but I started wondering if it was just poor grading, or settling after I noticed almost every hole does this. I can see areas of newer turf on some of the greens, but I don't understand why they just don't redo the entire green. The old/new seams just create more issues, and you can still see worn areas where they didn't re-turf. It looks and plays terrible. The greens are also all dirty, with leaves, petals, and bugs everywhere. Why isn't someone out there blowing the greens cleaner? Some of the greens were so covered in debris (not to mention the grading and wearing issues), it was impossible to aim or get a clean shot. I noticed an earlier reviewer mentioning stagnant, smelly water, and we thankfully didn't have any issues with that. All of the operating water features seemed relatively clean. I also saw in another review where the guest building was said to smell like fryer grease, and I agree with that. It is a bit off-putting. But we did have a good customer service experience, and even though the course was in a sad state, we still had a nice evening out as a family. I wouldn't say "don't come", as it's still something lightly active to get a family out together, but I would say that you should keep your expectations low. read more

I drove over to use the batting cages at about 4:30 yesterday. The doors were locked and no one was there. The place was closed down even though they had signs posted for Fall 2013 hours starting at 3:00 p.m. Probably won't waste my time again. read more

I love mini golfing and this place is very mediocre. 2 18 hole courses which is great and optional batting cages too. Tonight I played both courses with 3 other friends and the up keep of this place horrible. Greens are coming apart, water areas dried up, and the "tee" off pads are horrible. Also the lighting on holes after dark are minimal on some holes, great on some, and not existing on a few. Decent price to do both courses if you want but don't expect decent equipment, there are some "newer" putters but a lot of them are old with electrical tap on them. I didn't experience the batting cages or the food. This is just my opinion but I always say try it out 1 time but don't come expecting anything great. read more

This place is a dump! The owner clearly gave up on this place, is never around, (according to staff) and although could be a really cool place, doesn't invest in it. The batting cages rarely work, and the rock climbing wall isn't up to date with inspection. Too bad, it's a gold mine if someone would buy it and invest some money into it! read more

Went there Saturday with the family. We hadn't been there in years. What a disappointment! The place is in terrible shape. The putting areas are ripped to some degree at most holes. Indoor /outdoor carpet is cheap---no excuse for the condition. The putting mats are loose. Again--glue is cheap! The "clubhouse" is also a mess. The odor from the fryer is overpowering. Boulder Creek has been a great family spot for many years. The crew takes very good care of their guests. My daughter and I love playing mini golf and this course is well kept and great fun! They have batting cages and a rock climbing wall as well that is a ton of fun! Make sure you grab some food while you are there. They have a great little snack bar with some EXCELLENT daily specials! Give it a try an don't believe some of the negative reviews. Some of those folks are being very picky about a mini golf course, maybe they just don't know how to play! ha! read more

The place needs a ton of help. The greens are ripped, the holes are higher than the green at some points and the water is all murky and smells bad. The climbing wall only has two working harnesses so you can only do two of the four climbs. Last, the batting cages only throw balls every once in a while. There was a guy back there feeding balls to it but as soon as he walked away, it would clog up again. read more

Danger, please beware! They have HOLES all over around the course and I am not talking about the holes you are trying to hit the ball into! They have large holes in the grass and walking areas and I actually stepped in one! I sprained my ankle so bad that for the last week now it has been 4 times the normal size. I informed Boulder Creek about this, but they did not ask how I was, if I needed medical treatment or is there anything they can do. They said they would have their "grounds boy" take a look at it. I tried to tell them the hole I fell in was not the only one I seen that there were many. You can tell they just do not care and they do not staff well for this location. On a Friday night they had one girl working by herself taking care of everything. She was nice and probably needs a raise for everything she was handling. This place needs to be cleaned up and actually have someone care for it then it might be ok. Seems like they are letting it go way down hill and you could tell by how they handled this situation that they do not care it is happening right now Terrible experience! read more

This place is in terrible shape. Greens worn out, leaves were covering them so ball kept getting stuck, we lost a ball (probably leaves stuck in the tube) on a drop down from one level to the next. The batting cages... 1/2 were out of order. The machine locked up kid had to fix. The kids working were not very friendly/professional. I understand it's October but the ponds are already drained... If it were possible to give zero stars -- I would. What a horrible way to celebrate Father's Day! This place just needs to shut it doors because it is the sorriest excuse for a miniature golf course I have ever experienced. Our first clue should have been the cheap rubber putters that were round instead of flat on the bottom making it very difficult to hit the ball. Then as you go from one hole to the next you see where a few patches of turf have been replaced -- but that is just here and there. One hole even had a piece of carpet just laying on the top of it -- just laying there. Then add to the experience the stagnant water that smelled horrible and the swarm after swarm of gnats we had to keep swatting away to keep from inhaling them. Be careful if you go because the steps are unsafe in places -- one with a teetering block on the top step. And beware of the one hole that doesn't even have a border brick to keep the balls on the hole and not on the sidewalk -- though sidewalks are few and far between. You have to walk on the greens to get to the next hole. This place needs a serious investment or just needs to close. The Omaha metro desperately needs a quality place to play mini golf. Boulder Creek definitely isn't it. read more
