Because apparently they don't send bills and I was the one who was supposed to not just call Anchor Point and but also Carent Lab to check if I owe something. I am sorry but you guys are business partners and you need to take care of your patients and do this billing stuff in coordination when there is a significant error. While I was expecting an apology for the original bill, getting a debt collector letter is simply not how things should work.

Well the phones were turned off as if the facility was closed... Julie the very nice and helpful receptionist at foothills was very unhappy that she even could not get through on the phones so she went in the back and figured out how to get through. When she did finally reach someone she was told that wasn't an option and that I would have to pick it up the following day. The thing is my husband was in need of this medication and could not wait until tmrw. Julie was very frustrated and handed the phone to me and I discussed the importance to Gwen over and over again. She ended up asking for advice from someone still in the office. She returned with "I can do this just this one time but in the future this will not happen!" I understand this but it was not my fault I was told the wrong location and it was not my fault that she turned the phones off at a quarter till 5! Absolutely unprofessional to turn the phones off to a dept that is supposed to be open until 5PM!!!!! I tried to call on my way to check and it kept circulating prompts! We opted to give her a variety of different test to ensure she didn't have anything serious, and it turned out just fine. We have pretty mainstream insurance and I paid $60 upfront and $60 later on. This seemed reasonable due to the nature of the visit. It turns out she didn't need any medicine, but we had lots of peace of mind going to visit our family, knowing that we were gonna be a-ok.

My appointment was at 7:30. I waited a few minutes and I got my draw. The lady who took care of me was super sweet and friendly. I got the results on the website. This part was a bit frustrating because it took a few days before I was able to verify my identity. My results were sitting there and I couldn't access them. But this happens only the first time. Once you are registered to the online website and you have verified your identity, you get future results right away.
