She has taken care of me and my family since then. Dr Seigfried's nurse Kristine is by far the best in the building! She and dr seigfried are genuine, kind, gentle and treat you like family. The reason I am putting this some what poor review is because of a recent encounter with the family practice department reception desk. Specifically Gwen, my husband needed an rx picked up and I was told to pick up at foothills location. Well by the time I arrived and realized it was supposed to be broadway it was 4:45. I had asked the receptionist Julie if she wouldn't mind calling the broadway location to let them know I'm on my way but to leave it downstairs to be picked up at urgent care. Well the phones were turned off as if the facility was closed... Julie the very nice and helpful receptionist at foothills was very unhappy that she even could not get through on the phones so she went in the back and figured out how to get through. When she did finally reach someone she was told that wasn't an option and that I would have to pick it up the following day. The thing is my husband was in need of this medication and could not wait until tmrw. Julie was very frustrated and handed the phone to me and I discussed the importance to Gwen over and over again. She ended up asking for advice from someone still in the office. She returned with "I can do this just this one time but in the future this will not happen!" I understand this but it was not my fault I was told the wrong location and it was not my fault that she turned the phones off at a quarter till 5! Absolutely unprofessional to turn the phones off to a dept that is supposed to be open until 5PM!!!!! I tried to call on my way to check and it kept circulating prompts! I am very very disappointed and very unhappy with this situation. If I had never been to the BMC I would have given 1 star.

My husband has stayed and it couldn't get much worse! Their service (or lack thereof) is appalling. The left doesn't know what the right is doing. And unfortunately in healthcare that's shameful. Through no fault, his monthly medication is being discontinued and he's having to move to a new medicine. You would think the Dr and staff would be able to get this completed efficiently. This is the last straw!!! It's been more than a month, they forgot, they're extremely busy with 2000 plus patients, oops we need to get that done! I'm shocked at these responses. We've ended up paying out of pocket for 30 days while the professionals stumble through their jobs! This is the worst medical facility!!

The location in Boulder is very convention, ample building and parking. There are several different services and specialties available under one roof, and a good location fro their patients who need to be closer than Anschutz for regular care. There are clinics for family medicine, heart and vascular, an eye center, a pharmacy, a lab and other specialties. There are providers that are here full time as well as some who rotate in from Anschutz and other locations in some specialties. I have been a patient here of several providers, in several areas over the years. In fact, before they opened this larger facility, I was a patient at their previous locations in central Boulder. This may be a bit farther for me but still only 10-12 minutes depending on traffic. Very convenient and even more convenient for those farther east in Boulder. I am very pleased with the many providers I have seen. Also, the check in staff and medical assistants are nice to work with. If your insurance covers this option, and mine does, I think may people could be quite happy with the choice. And know that if you need a broader range of specialties or a lab that is walk in, not strictly advance appointments, the UCH system has grown considerably in Longmont. This is still a lot closer than Anschutz and referrals to these other locations in the UCH system are readily available.

There has been unclear communication. I have spent hours on the phone chasing her down trying to get answers and every time I get blamed and gaslit. I had my intake appointment over a month ago. Then when I went in for my 8:30am appointment this morning and was told my appointment was canceled and they called me an hour ago. That appointment was still in the app the evening before. She gave a generic sorry woth no empathy and no acknowledgement of the inconvenience, and again gaslit and blamed me for not seeing a call an hour before an appointment when I was trying to get ready for my day with 3 medical appointments. Pelvic floor therapy is incredibly intimate and before even meeting my doctor, I don't feel comfortable or safe going there.

It took a month to close the finger wound which was not a good outcome of my poor choice. This winter I had a worse but similar insult to the same finger so I did go to the ER and their efficient care of the finger allowed it to heal properly. This time we made the same choice for a smaller ct on a different finger and it has healed extremely well. From the moment I arrived, bloody hand wrapped , I was treated efficiently and politely, from register g window to assessment to treatment. Clerical staff and medical staff are well trained. On 1 visit, I actually needed an MD but the most recent used a PA who did a fine job. The various techs who were used to clean the wounds as well as remove stitches later were also efficient and accurate at task. I am lucky to have this fairly near by, though not as close as when BCH had the facility right in town. Back then it was a much shorter distance for my family, especially when transporting one of my children. But progress requires more and different space and with this facility accessible to a few highways it is better for the greater community that has moved to the suburbs of Boulder. Since I have good insurance and have used this facility in the past. They can process my emergencies quite quickly. There were other patients in line too, some with far greater injuries so appropriate that they were taken even more quickly and were served by the discs. Broken ribs from bicycle incidents have been other cases with priority both times. Such a Boulder situation so be careful out there!

The ER physician misdiagnosed the symptoms as 'psychosis' and arranged for me to be placed on an M1 hold (involuntary psychiatric commitment) and transferred to Cedar Springs Hospital psychiatric institution in Colorado Springs later that day, although in his own notes he claimed I was not 'agitated,' 'depressed,' or 'in distress.' This assessment was not competent and was gravely in error. Perhaps I should have been sedated with Ativan and Versed if necessary to control the convulsions and connected to EEG in some form of effort to diagnose the seizures, which would not have been difficult or expensive, although this would not have allowed the hospital to bill my insurance for very much money. Two days later, on July 23, 2025, I was transferred to the UC Memorial Health Center ER in Colorado Springs by ambulance from Cedar Springs Hospital and placed under intensive care due to asphyxiation from choking on vomit during tonic clonic seizures. The staff at Cedar Springs claimed I had fallen and hit my head at their facility, which my care team at Memorial Hospital was able to find no evidence of. I was put on a ventilator and a tracheal tube was inserted to clean the vomit out of my lungs. By that point I already had pneumonia. Simply rolling me onto my side may have prevented the issue. Rather, the staff at Cedar Springs only offered stern lectures regarding my 'misbehavior,' which were not helpful. I was only offered food with choking hazards and given lit cigarettes at the facility. I was in and out of the seizures for about three days, completely cut off from any possible access to medical attention, before I lost consciousness. My next memory is of the feeding tube being removed at Memorial Hospital. To quote an MD from the Memorial Hospital case notes on July 23, "The specific organ or organ systems failed or in danger of failing were Cardiovascular, Neurological, and Respiratory." To quote his colleague on July 24, "Patient's condition is life-threatening and without ongoing intervention would deteriorate." A third Physician on July 26 noted, "BH [Behavior Health] evaluated him and he is NOT gravely disabled and does not meet any M1 hold criteria," and, "This pt [patient] has Epilepsy." This was the neurologist who observed the tonic clonic seizures on EEG. I was discharged from Memorial Hospital and sent home later that day. Fortunately I am now nine months seizure-free. Respiratory failure and tonic clonic seizure are known to cause permanent death of brain tissue and irreversible injury to the brain, and may cause sudden-onset death. Would not reccommend.

Hmmm. Shocker. 2.5/5 star average…read more The other reviewers are correct. The people do not want to be there. They look miserable. I had experienced what I perceived to be discrimination at this pharmacy in the past. I understand, Andre, as the supposed "manager" needs to take claims like mine seriously. He made me cry as I am a very sensitive anxious person and the follow up was WORSE than the actual discrimination itself. He was NOT discreet, he used a tone of voice and behavior that was domineering/aggressive and he embarrassed me in front of the other customers. I am actually, quite perplexed at the moment. I would have thought as a person of color himself, he would have more empathy with my experience. I know what I experienced. I know the looks I got. I stand by my comments. He did not use discretion, intimidated me and made me, the FUCKING victim feel like I was the perpetrator of a CRIME. I used to like him. I truly find myself disgusted by the follow up. I dont care how bad of a day youre having. I have worked in customer service many, many years. You dont approach a follow up with such hostility and lack of empathy. What sound manager approaches the alleged victim of discrimination in such a threatening and hostile manner. HE could tell I was uncomfortable and he kept pressing. I guess some people just snap after all the negative energy - I get it. The staff there seem miserable and I am in disbelief with how I was treated. Andre used possessive language and harbored the demeanor of a militant cop on a power trip. you DO NOT treat your customers like this. Un-FUCK-ing believable. I had more self control than he did. and hes like, 20 to 25 years my senior. I could and would be a better manager and understand you dont use hostile conduct like he did with such a sensitive issue/grievance as mine. As a manager, I would have been far more discreet and approachable. Yes, we are human and fallible - Andre CLEARLY did not act like a manager today. I empathize though. After working in an environment permeated with negativity and becomes the breeding grounds for a cesspool of toxic human interaction, I understand. I am far younger than him and know better. look at your negative reviews and shitty ratings and do some self reflection, man. Jesus christ.

It's so nurturing and calming and healing to see the same doctor over the course of time rather than bouncing around, rarely receiving caring guidance - it's been such a long time since I've had such good medical care as what my children and I have experienced at BMC. The only reason that I didn't list five stars is that the receptionist ("Hail") for the eye doctor is consistently condescending and he/they treat patients like an annoyance and a terrible inconvenience - I nearly looked elsewhere for an eye exam, just to avoid this employee. This said, I can't stress enough how wonderful the nurses and doctors are.

In the process she asked me 3-4 times for my name... then the same for my birthdate... then for my appointment time... then continued fumbling around while squinting at her monitor, apparently trying to figure out how to use the program. By the time she had figured things out, I was ONE MINUTE past my appointment window... a lateness which she had caused... so she told me that I had to go to another counter. "Don't worry," she said, "They just have to tell the doctor." So I went to where she directed me to go and spoke to a pleasant woman who left me several times to talk to someone (Dr. Berlioz?). Ultimately, she told me that I would have to reschedule, even though I had arrived on time and it was Berlioz's staff who had caused the check-in tardiness. I asked to speak to the Office Manager, to explain the situation... confident that the person would acknowledge their obvious error and get me in to see Dr. Berlioz (mostly to get an expired prescription renewed). A stern woman named Maria (?) came out and immediately made it clear that I would have to reschedule... not caring that THEY had caused the situation.., and to come to this appointment I had gone to two bloods draws, missed work and driven from Louisville... as well as how my prescription would not be renewed/refilled without this visit. My logic/predicament fell on uncaring, deaf ears. I am just so, so disappointed in Dr. Ramirez-Berlioz and her staff. Not only did they refuse to see me (despite their error), but they have yet to contact me afterwards (as promised by the Office Manager). Further, they had the nerve to charge me $75 for this... and my prescription has now lapsed. What a blatant violation of the Hippocratic Oath! This is a systemic problem within Boulder Medical Center. Poor treatment of patients and poor communication. I have filed complaints against Dr. Berlioz with the Colorado Medical Board, and against the facility with CDPHE.
